This would be the first game of the season for PSG to go in a game without their number 1 player Mbappe, who left the side to join the Spanish giant Madrid, as they (PSG) visit The Stade Océane in the opener of the season. How is the squad going to look like without Mbappe? Everybody has to move on and PSG can now give a chance for some of those young talents they have on the bench to come show how good they are and I think Ramos can do better in tonight's game, that's if they give him the opportunity to step up in this encounter against Le Havre. I don't expect the visitors to give more than 4 goals and also they can't keep a clean sheet against the host, let's say a 1-3 win for PSG but I think if they don't get another striker they might struggle this season.

If their target is limited to the France league then there is no need to sign any new players because with the team they currently have they will definitely write France and win the championship. But if they plan on Champions League tournament outside of this tournament then they must recruit good quality players. Earlier they wasted a lot of money now if they spend some money then that money will not go astray because the manager they have now will not hire any wrong player to their club. If the management gives Luis Enrique financial freedom then the current manager can make this team much stronger. But if there is a limitation in spending money then it will be very difficult for Luis Enrique to take this team to a good level.
But of course the hope is not limited to that, PSG is currently one of the clubs that is still considered big, especially with its financial strength so they definitely still want more in terms of recognition and the Champions League is one way for them to be recognized.
With their strength now although it is still very good but I am quite sure it will not be enough because apart from players and coaches, there is experience which is another factor if you really want them to be in better condition. By looking at that, of course there must be several players who must enter in the transfer season this time which unfortunately they still haven't done.

There is no doubt that Mbappe was a very huge additional factor to the PSG team when he was there, he added different dimension to the team and made other Ligue 1 players fears it more, so his departure really would create a void in this PSG team. But the question is how much of a void will that be, I will say base on the quality of the French league the PSG team is still looking to be an undisputed champion at the end of the season. The PSG attack without Mbappe currently have the likes of Dembele, Goncalco Ramos, Kolo Muani, Lee Kang and the young Barcola. I believe this players if they stick as a team will definitely win the Ligue 1, although my only concern is them against some really tough opponents in the champions league which will be a huge task for them but collectively they would strife up

I don't think it would be wise for PSG to spend too much money trying to replace Mbappe. They should not go for a direct replacement for someone playing in his wing but they should restructure the team in the way that the players will be playing as a team and not be depending on only one player as they were doing when Mbappe was still playing at the club. PSG should sign new players but they shouldn't only go for star players as they use to do because they'll be more costly and there's no guaranteed of them delivering for PSG just as Messi, and Neymar could not win the champions league that they were signed for. Every player at the club both the old players and the new ones that'll get signed needs to start contributing to the team. PSG were winning the league before Mbappe came and they can still win the league after he has left the club hence PSG wouldn't be affected by his departure.

.So far, PSG has been too dependent on Mbappe so it's not surprising that they miss him so much now and isn't it quite painful to see him go straight to winning trophies with Madrid in first season?
