Luis Enrique must build a more collective squad, not relying on just one star player, Mbappe departure opens the way to realizing this mission. Management and club officials should also be in the same direction as Luis Enrique in building squad depth, and they should also retain the manager in the long term. If they continue to try to get instant results, PSG will never win the Champions League trophy, in fact they have built the best squad with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe but failed. Nantes was a very good team in the playstation games we played in the 2000's I think they have never finished among the top 5 teams in the league in the last 20 years, they finish in the middle or in the worst rankings every season. Even though Marseille finished in eighth position, but basically Marseille experienced bad results last season. At their current squad Nantes has Mostafa Mohamed and he was recognized as Nantes top scorer in Ligue 1 and i think Nantes should be hold this player and not sell him to other club because Mostafa Mohamed is important player for them about their manager after Pierre Aristouy was withdraw from his position as Nantes manager currently Antoine Kombouare was in charge but Nantes performance under Antoine Kombouare is quite dissapointing because from 8 matches in Ligue 1 Nantes only can collect 8 points and i think next season will not so different for Nantes because they still fight to avoiding relegation zone but Antoine Kombouare contract actually will be expired at the end of this June but until now i couldn't find any information whether Nantes has decided to extended his contract or Nantes looking for a new coach

Nantes has changed. The shame is real. They battle mud season after season. Everyone notices. They just want to avoid losing. Bad approach. But you gotta give them credit, they're survivors. Not superstars, but effective. Thats something. Their kids' academy is another issue. Formerly a talent factory. Now its dried. No celebrities or rising stars.

New faces and ideas are needed to transform things. Invest in young players, hungry players. They need to remember what made them great, remember their history. Nantes can win again if they believe. Its possible. Right mindset and ambition are important. Nantes must wake up and win again.

Nantes is just a mid-table Ligue 1 team, so I don't think many people are interested in discussing the future of this team if there are no major changes to its management structure.

Many Ligue 1 teams need big investors who are ready to invest in the team by improving the depth of the squad. This is the only way that all teams in Ligue 1 can be truly competitive in the modern era of football. Every team that can afford to buy expensive, quality players is the one who has the best chance of winning the title even though there is no guarantee at all of winning it every season.

De Zerbi is a really great move by Marseille in my opinion. However didn't Marseille make so many manager changes in one year?    Marcelino, Gattuso and lastly Jean-Louis Gasset.

Gasset didn't even last half a season I assume. If he was an interim manager then okay. Otherwise he got sacked too quickly. Anyways, I hope they can make a good start with De Zerbi. He is a really decent manager and I don't know why Brighton decided to part ways with him as well. I assume it was due to finishing way below their previous season position. I would like to see Marseille recovering with him as they have been struggling for quite a while.

The Nantes team really needs to make changes to themselves if they have the desire to compete more fiercely in Ligue1. Because from what you said, it is also quite clear that if Nantes is still like last season, no one will want to rely on that team. So it is not impossible that Nantes could experience relegation in the coming seasons because there is no reliable increase in performance. So there is no other choice but to be able to make good improvements in the team for Nantes before they drop to the lower caste.

There's no need to have high hopes for a mediocre team like Nantes, a club that doesn't have a lot of money can at least produce a good academy so they can have a better season and get out of the red zone of the French League 1, but if they stay like this without any changes in the team of course they will be under greater pressure next season and it is possible that they will experience relegation with abilities that they do not want to improve.

Looking at the Nantes team, it seems like they don't really have much hope in the French League 1 to compete in the top 4, because the Nantes team looks satisfied playing or escaping the relegation zone is already a satisfaction in itself for them, there is nothing to hope for or be grateful for from this team because we know Nantes is just a mediocre team.

Those were the years when Nantes was a very strong team do to the kind of experience players they have then but however it was very unfortunate for them because there performance was not able to last longer because everything changed when most of there good players left and since then they have not been able to go back to those performance, however with what I'm seeing now on Nantes performance I don't think they will be able to advance more than the way they have gone, so actually it may take them a very long time to improve because considering the kind of struggling they had on this finish season were they lost so many matches to even some smaller clubs, so I believe the only way for them to improve is to work on the players and getting some more in to make the club stronger.

I wonder if there isn't something Nantes can do in each new season? because this team has always finished at the bottom of the table throughout the season and it would be quite worrying if they had to be relegated one day. Luckily they can always finish in a fairly safe place and can avoid relegation because they will definitely go back and forth to the league.

But unfortunately we can't have full hopes for Nantes who continue to experience repeated failures and I think they will stay like this for a long time. I still remember very well this team was successful in Ligue One and they last won Ligue One 24 years ago.

The competition at the top of the Ligue 1 standings always changes every season, only Paris Saint Germain can consistently stay at the top, apart from them there is no other club that can consistently stay in the top competition every season. This is what makes Ligue 1 not as interesting, because the inconsistency shown by a club makes us unsure about them in the next season.
