PSG is the only team in Ligue 1 who have qualified for the semi-finals this season, I would say PSG's success should be supported by other Ligue 1 teams. So far PSG have not won any Champions League title, they have a golden opportunity this season so every Parisian and France fan will probably support PSG this season. PSG have qualified for the semi-finals and they have an easy opponent in the semi-finals so their journey from the semi-finals to the final will not be too difficult. If PSG can qualify for the final and Bayern Munich can beat Real Madrid, PSG's dream of winning the Champions League title could come true. This team has spent a lot of money and dreamed a lot just to win a Champions League and of course I will support the team and want this team to win the UCL title.
If i am not mistaken Ligue 1 this season has 2 representative team PSG and Lens in champion league but unfortunately Lens have to eliminate early because at Group Stages Lens only can finish at 3rd place of group table and about PSG indeed a bit surprised because i thought they will not be qualified especially after first leg PSG have to lost at their home ground but in the second leg PSG can able to win with big scores and eliminate Barcelona and this result too makes them can advances to the semifinal match and Dortmund will being an their upcoming opponent and on the paper and head to head statistics i can see PSG is the favourite

In the Ligue1 PSG upcoming opponent is Lyon this is interesting because both teams has opposite result from their recent matches in Ligue 1 because PSG only playing draw against weak team Clermont but Lyon can dramatically win from tough team Brest and we can see Lyon has displayed fantastic performance recently because they can able to win several times against strong teams in Ligue 1 so this is interesting who will be the winner of this match later

To be honest, I didn't expect that they would be in the semifinals, because in the first leg they lost to Barcelona and in the second leg they played as the visiting team. It was something that would not be easy for them to turn things around.

IN the second leg they also had to fall behind Barcelona, which makes me doubt them even more. However, the red card received by Barcelona was something that ultimately reversed the situation and made it profitable for Paris Saint Germain. Yes, after the red card they slowly played better than Barcelona and finally they scored goal after goal so they were able to win with a landslide score of 4-1 while reversing the aggregate.

They are very good at taking advantage of the advantage in the number of players they have. They did not miss the big opportunity that came to them in that match so they can be in the semifinals now. but their opponents will be more difficult in this round, so they have to be prepared.

As far as this season is concerned, the French league is settle and as usual, PSG have had their way. Not even the champions league matches will be able to make them miss the trophy because their ten points lead against their closest rival Stade Brestois is not something that can closed with just 5 matches remaining. Where there is serious competition is the fight for the second and third positions between Monaco, Stade Brestois and Lille. They are about the same post and showing almost the same form and this makes it a little difficult to predict teams that will scale through.
In my opinion, League One is still far from stable because its competitors are still the same in appearance and unable to beat PSG and this club is still dominating up to now, luck is on PSG's side in the UCL if Barcelona doesn't get a red card in the middle of the first half maybe PSG won't. being able to win, beating Barca in terms of performance, it is clear that Barca is superior to PSG because the lack of defenders made Barca a little difficult in that match, so I don't really favor PSG in the UCL.

As for the competition for 2nd place, it is not yet clear that currently the club you mentioned still has a chance to occupy it because the difference in points between them is not too far, Brest seems to be starting to lose its rhythm, Monaco and Lille are trying to take advantage of this to appear consistent.

Not sure that Munich beats Madrid because Madrid is superior head to head especially in their last few meetings Madrid looks superior, Arsenal is not a difficult opponent for Munich but Madrid will be a difficult opponent for them, just look at the domestic league Munich is not playing well so that's why If they meet Madrid they will definitely not be able to win because Madrid is always superior to Munich. If PSG is able to get rid of Dortmund, PSG should be able to reach the final and meet Madrid and that is Mbappe's opportunity to show off his abilities.

PSG was never the favorite from the start to reach an important round like the semi-finals and in the end we were all wrong that PSG was able to reach the semi-finals now after getting rid of Barcelona and successfully coming back, but actually this is quite a complicated journey for Mbappe and his friends who have reached the final. This is important, they have to play more seriously and as optimally as possible to be able to win and reach the final, Dortmund will definitely be a difficult opponent because they are a strong team in the Bundesliga which is why it is important for PSG to play carefully when facing Dortmund and that is their opportunity too to reach the final representing a team from Ligue 1.

Its not matter how the winning process of PSG on second leg matches in Champion League against Barcelona indeed the opponent team got red card but PSG success secure semifinal ticket. First time for PSG last two season in a row always eliminated 16 of round in Champion League and has chance lead until final phase, one step closer because Dortmund the opportunity team in semifinal seems more easily for defeating than have to face Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
In the group phase, PSG performance not promising yet almost failed get 16 round phase before finishing on 2nd standings position, Luis Henrique success give the semifinal ticket for this season and has chance for winning Champion League tittle for the first time but if can win against Dortmund has difficult team between Bayern Munich or Real Madrid.

That's right, PSG managed to prove that they are a pretty strong team this season, when they managed to beat Barcelona in the second leg, bringing them a ticket to the semifinals. Even though in the first leg match they lost by a narrow score, in their second leg match PSG managed to turn things around. Indeed, after their first leg match, I thought PSG could turn things around and in fact it was true, even though one of Barcelona got a red card, but in my opinion that only made it easier for their attack, that doesn't mean they could win because one of the Barcelona teams got a card. red.

with PSG's next match I don't think they have a very strong opponent, maybe they will have a little difficulty when facing Dortmund, but I'm sure they can still balance it well. maybe even better than that.

After winning with PSG in the Champions League, Mbappe's future is still a hot topic of discussion and he has also said in interviews about his future decisions and that will not change the fact that he will still leave at the end of the season. What will happen to PSG if they lose their star player and maybe Ligue One will be quiet because they lost their icon.
I think that as a wise PSG fan, Mbappe's decision to leave Paris next season will not make PSG fans hate Mbappe. We know Mbappe is one of the best strikers in the world. And his dream since childhood was to play for Real Madrid. Mbappe is also still young and he is still very ambitious to win many championship titles and individual awards in the future. I think his decision to leave PSG will be difficult for PSG fans to accept but of course they have to understand that Mbapee may want to play in a higher and more competitive league. PSG never lacks money to pay Mbappe but Mbappe wants to make a lot of history in the world of football like his idol Cristiano Ronaldo did.
Exactly, it feels like PSG fans are starting to accept Mbappe's decision at the end of the season and maybe they should try to forget it and focus on supporting the existing players. Together with PSG they have made history and there are so many of them, anyone who feels they have had enough will definitely want a new challenge so they can prove something more convincing.

PSG repeatedly persuaded Mbappe and repeatedly they succeeded in doing so, but this was the last round that they could no longer convince and they had to let go of their star player. Wherever Mbappe goes, everything is the best for his career and he really has to move now before he gets older. What Cristiano Ronaldo has done is what he can do at Real Madrid and we know his history with PSG is fantastic.

It can be denied that PSG won only because of the red card because PSG was the dominating team before the red card already. Yes they did concede that goal, but it would have remained a very hot game until the end. I have no doubt about that. You say that the red card allowed PSG to take control over the game, but that's ignorant of what has happened before the red card let alone the attack itself that led to the red card, which was one of these huge counter attacks that PSG was trying to push through all the time.

As for PSG's chances in the semifinal, I think Borussia Dortmund is probably about the weakest opponent they could get. At least in Paris I expect PSG to clearly beat them, but maybe Dortmund has learnt their lesson from the first leg in the Champions League group stage. Playing in Dortmund is difficult for any team due to the impressive scenery and the fans in this huge stadium.

It cannot be denied, but apart from the red card of one of the Barcelona players, PSG was able to dominate the match, but it must be admitted that PSG's performance in the second leg was much better than their performance in the first leg.
But whatever it is, I think the most important thing is the final result and that PSG has succeeded in advancing to the semifinals.

Borussia Dortmund cannot be underestimated, all the teams that have been in the semifinals are the best teams who have beaten their opponents so that they managed to be in the semifinals.
I think the Borussia Dortmund vs PSG semi-final match will be quite even and in terms of strength the two teams do not have a significant difference so I think the percentage for both teams to beat each other is quite the same.

So far there is only Mbappe who really looks dominant and has made huge contribution to PSG, in fact they have been able to continue winning Ligue 1 for several seasons, especially this season thanks to Mbappe being with them.
For other competitions such as the UCL, I don't think PSG really has enough performance or strength to compete and be able to win the title in the upcoming match, it is certain that PSG will fail to beat Barcelona away and they will be eliminated.
They can repeat this next season but PSG is playing without Mbappe and there is no certainty about who will replace him, clearly this is detrimental condition for PSG.

Yes and the decision to move to Real Madrid was the right decision for Mbappe considering that with PSG he also did not win any titles except Ligue 1, he is great young player and it would be shame if his career did not develop.
It time for Mbappe to go and pursue what he should have gotten long time ago, Mbappe biggest wait is to be able to fight for and win the UCL title, and with Real Madrid the chances are quite big to achieve that.
I am not saying that it is true word for word and every price, but to be fair, Transfermarkt shows that Mbappe is worth as 180 million and total value of PSG as 1.02 billion euros. By comparison, the closest team is Monaco with 347 million euro. Meaning, if Mbappe were to leave today, and you drop whatever remains to half, it still doesn't go under Monaco, they would still be the leader.

This is of course the value, just because you have a higher value, doesn't mean you will win, the year when Lille won, did PSG have lower value? Of course not, but I think putting all of the achievement to Mbappe is wrong. We will see what will happen next season, Mbappe will be gone, and I bet that PSG will have an even easier win for sure.
I don't know what happened but indeed finances will always be determining factor in building team to be able to appear with perfect strength and be able to compete to surpass other team, I believe PSG is the richest team and they have all the supporting factors behind it.
But when Mbappe leaves, PSG will lose that value because this means PSG has lost one strength, maybe they can bring in another player who is much more expensive but that will not guarantee that they will be much better than Mbappe.
Strength of team on average only focuses on one or two core players and most team always experience conditions like this, whatever many people say, but with Mbappe leaving I sure PSG will still have declining performance.
This is not as easy as what you are talking about, look at what the future will be like and I very sure that what I say will definitely happen.

I won't say how the competition was few season ago when LOSC became champions because this was quite long time ago, around 4 years ago and we are here to talk about the future of Ligue 1, especially PSG, which is the best dominator in this League.

In the end the game found the right winner although I think everyone agrees that the red card changed a few things and the move by the Barcelona defender couldn't have been more stupid and reckless as that. He knew that if he attacks full speed in that position, it is going to be a red card. He should have stopped the attack in the very last moment as the only chance Barcola had was to give the ball an uncontrolled touch. With that ter Stegen could have intervened and stopped the attack or at least would have had a good chance to defend the ball as Barcola was hardly going to have the time for a concentrated attempt at that speed.

But still I think that PSG had good chances to win the game anyway as they were in full control even before Barcelona scored the first goal. Now they have great chances to get into the final as Dortmund isn't the strongest opponent.
It cannot be denied that PSG won because one of the Barcelona players made a mistake and received a red card, allowing PSG to control this match and turn things around.
However, whatever happens, now PSG has managed to advance to the semifinals and I will not overreact to this because the journey is still very long and in terms of percentage to win the Champions League, the PSG team is not much bigger than other teams.

This victory seemed like there was an element of luck for PSG because the Barcelona team made mistakes and PSG was able to maximize that very well.

It can be denied that PSG won only because of the red card because PSG was the dominating team before the red card already. Yes they did concede that goal, but it would have remained a very hot game until the end. I have no doubt about that. The competition for this season is almost the same as last season and it is less interesting, and I think PSG will start to lower their game here like they did last season because they have already secured the title in the last two games they only got one point, and currently PSG only needs just two wins to ensure the championship title.

In the last six matches, PSG will probably play more of their second-tier players so that their core players can be fitter for the Champions League semi-final match, and in the three matches before against Dortmund, relatively only Lyon will be their toughest opponent the rest are just easy matches, namely against Le Havre and Lorient.
PSG's focus at the moment is the Champions League and making sure their important players are fit is important because of course they won't expect help because their opponents will get a red card like Barcelona faced  Wink
as long as there is no other team that is able to consistently compete with PSG it will certainly be very difficult to break the dominance and it will continue to be boring seeing league 1 being dominated by PSG and the point difference is now very far from the runner up team position which makes it very impossible to catch up on points from the remaining this matches.
and regarding PSG who will use second tier players, maybe that is true and previously Enrique has also used this method to manage PSG players wisely even though he has to sacrifice league 1 points but losing points in league 1 will not put any pressure on PSG which has been confirmed. guarantee the league 1 title.

I just want to guess that in the upcoming match against Lyon, Mbappe will definitely only sit on the bench and be rested by Enrique to maintain the physical condition of his flagship player so he is ready to compete in the UCL in the semi finals later.

PSG's Champions League journey hasn't ended indeed. Araujo's causing a meaningless incident and getting a red card literally gave life to PSG. That 4-1 win is really big however I'm curious about how it would end if there wasn't that red card.  Huh  The reason why I wonder it is that they were 1-0 behind before that red card.

PSG must be able to focus on the Champions League more comfortably normally as they are in safe condition in the Ligue 1 for the title. The other teams near PSG in the Ligue 1 are rather fighting for capturing a Champions League spot now you know. It would be really nice to see Brest there as well.  Smiley

Yes, that's right, it looks like if Barcelona still plays with 11 players, it lookslike PSG will also fail to comeback in that second leg. Because after all, Barcelona also managed to score a quick goal in the first half but unfortunately, because Barcelona played with only 10 players, then this factor really caused Barcelona to be destroyed in that match. But yes, because in fact PSG managed to qualify for the semifinals and PSG will play against Dortmund, it is very likely that PSG will be able to beat Dortmund in the semifinal match. Because atleast, PSG clearly has better quality compared to Dortmund and therefore, for now I believe PSG still has a good chance of qualifying for the final match.
Paris has a high probability of beating Dortmund. I believe that the team that will take part in the final will be PSG. Borussia Dortmund is a very good team, but Mbappe will play more concentrated in the semi-finals and I am excited that he can reach the final for the first time.

Yes, you are right, although Kylian Mbappe's decision to leave PSG is difficult for PSG fans to accept, but again this is not only about PSG's future but about the future of the player who lives his life and does not depend on fans who are fanatical about PSG, Mbappe's decision may not be accepted by PSG fans but it was well received by European football fans and well received by Mbappe fans themselves who want to see their favorite players get lots of awards and follow in the footsteps of legendary star players Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, most people will definitely think more about Mbappe's future if he decides to leave PSG and most people say it was the right decision.

Whether PSG is able to reach the final or not, Mbappe's decision seems to be unanimous. He wants to experience a different experience by playing in a more competitive league and everyone knows that League 1 is not that competitive and maybe Mbappe is bored of being in France with monotonous competition and always PSG who won the title there because no club was able to surpass PSG in terms of player composition and also recruiting experienced coaches.

Actually I no that PSG has been doing really well on this French league and there is no any other club that can easily challenge them on the French league trophy but one thing we must know is that champions League is far tougher than this French league and the clubs on the champions League are mostly those clubs that are more experience than PSG, however I agree with you that their match between Borussia Dortmund could turn out on their favour but nothing is certain for them, so the best thing PSG can do now is to ready all their players so that their would not be any mistake on that match because any little lapses could result them on losing the match just like in the case of Barcelona.
In Ligue 1 there is no equal competition for PSG so they can dominate the league so easily and if you look at the number of players they have it will make PSG's strength even stronger. Their experience with previous coaches was quite difficult when playing in the Champions League so management tried to find the right person. Luis Enrique has given PSG a new color and they managed to beat Barcelona to reach the semifinals in the Champions League.

Luis Enrique must prepare his team well when facing Dortmund because the Champions League is very different from Ligue 1. There are only two steps left for them in the Champions League. If they succeed in beating Dortmund then Luis Enrique has the opportunity to present PSG with the highest title this season.

PSG's benchmark for coaches is to win the Champions League and Luis Enrique is close to winning the title. PSG might be the favourites in the semi-finals against Borussia Dortmund but it is not certain that they will get it to the finals because the German side also plays quality football. If they are as fortunate as they were yesterday this season might be their year of victory.

These two teams that are meeting each other in the semifinals are the two teams that looks very much weaker amongst the teams that are left in the competition. That is to say that, anyone that gets a qualification from this stage will be won in the finals of the competition. PSG will be willing to take anything within their capacity to win the champions league title but it won’t be an easy task for them. Dortmund could be viewed as a weak and an underdog team to them, but I really much feel Dortmund can also qualify if PSG don’t use a good strategy that will defeat them easily when they meet.

Real Madrid headcoach, Carlo Ancelotti and the Bavarians headcoach, Thomas Tuchel are the top barriers for PSG this season. Its never going to be composed an easy fight because there's more presence of tense actions and I've already mapped out my view to see Real Madrid in the UCL final this season. Do you say Lius Enrique is closer to lifting the UEFA Champions League this season? I doubt that because Real Madrid is the only club that have been in prime form and they've always been on the top when it comes to winning the major titles.

The victory they get against Barcelona will create even more motivation for PSG players, now they will be even more enthusiastic because in the semifinals they will face Dortmund and even though it is not easy to win, PSG has a much greater chance of getting to the final. In Ligue 1 PSG does not have too big a burden so they can focus on finishing the match in the semifinals when they face Dortmund.

Winning is quite important because it will provide motivation to win the Champions League this season. Luis Enrique must prove that he can provide something that the previous coach could not provide and if he succeeds then Luis Enrique will be a coach to be reckoned with next season.

Yes and they will have enough confidence to play the next league one games. Luis Enrique has been a top manager honestly, barely makes noise just after the game and win, I'm surely comfortable and confident to say that Paris Saint Germans would be heading into another finals and it would definitely be against Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich has no competitive Competition to find themselves in so they will be so focused on defeating Real Madrid in the semi finals.
But we all know how Bayern Munich and Thomas Tuchel had been average and playing around. Real Madrid seems too defensive for me but they have this character of wanting to do what other legends have done in the Champions League Competition. Hopefully Kylian Mbappe finds himself in the Champions League Competition finals.

At least this season there is a new hope where they can continue to compete in a big competition like the Champions League where previously they only had to end up with participants in the round of 16. Motivation must be very large and the new spirit where Enrique can still continue to compete in big competitions certainly makes PSG more seen now and not underestimated as before.

But their journey is still not easy at this time because by succeeding in the semifinals at this time indirectly they are currently increasing in terms of pressure which of course this can make the players burdened.
Now they just have to continue to focus on what they are doing and try to do their best in every match they have in the rest of the season.
