Mbappe to Madrid is great and all, but he will have to be playing striker there, and as we have seen in the last 2 seasons when Messi and Neymar was here and Mbappe played striker, he doesn't "like" it, doesn't mean he can't, he can still play there, and he is playing there at times even this year, I am not saying he will be bad there, he will be quite good there.
I am just saying, it is not his preference, if you gave him the option then he would prefer left attacking winger, he will still be around the goal, but he will be at the left side of it. Striker is a central position, and doesn't have a side, whichever side attack comes from, he will be forced to be there, including right side, which he dislikes.
Assuming that Mbappe will be at Real Madrid, it seems like the coach will be able to know where he will be placed, because usually coaches will carry out experiments where a player can use all his abilities. Carlo Ancelotti is an experienced coach, so I personally have confidence that he will be placed in the best position. But of course he has to go through several series of processes and he has to get used to it.
Mbappe is a coach who has above average abilities so he must be able to maximize his abilities, and if he wants to choose the most comfortable position in his game, then he must be able to show it when he gets that position. Because sometimes a player doesn't realize his abilities, and I also see that Mbappe still shows quite a lot of selfishness, so that might be a little hampering his development. However, if he were at Real Madrid, I think that trait would slowly disappear considering that Real Madrid is a pretty firm team.
Mbappe seems to be plotted as a center forward, if Ancelotti uses Vinicius and Rodrygo in one lineup. Such experiments are very easy for Ancelotti, he is very experienced in placing players in different positions from the original. What is clear is that Mbappe was brought in with the aim of being able to replace the role left by Benzema, it seems he is quite ideal in that position.
Speculation about Mbappe future is still ongoing, and so far there has been no official statement. Recently, it was also rumored that Hakimi would leave PSG to move to Madrid, I believe this could make PSG weaker in competing in the Champions League. Enrique must look for suitable players if both players leave in one transfer window.
Overall, PSG bargaining value in Ligue 1 remains the same although Mbappe leaves, they are still quite easy to win the domestic trophy every season. But things could be different in the Champions League, PSG will have difficulty competing with elite teams if they don't recruit players close to Mbappe quality. Enrique looks like he will reshuffle his main squad next season.
