Indeed, PSG's victory is not surprising because PSG's performance is very strong in League 1 so beating Montpellier is not a difficult thing for PSG because they are not a tough enough opponent and they are also not a top club. Perhaps what makes people a little surprised is that PSG is still able to create lots of goals in the remainder of this season even though if you look at it, their goal productivity should have decreased considering that the players' stamina has been depleted, but PSG still plays tough in whatever match they face, thanks to this victory, PSG is even more confident at the top of the standings and when they focus on the League Champions PSG won't be that worried even if they lose a few points because it doesn't affect PSG's position.

I look at the match schedule for the rest of the season in League 1. I think PSG won't experience any difficulties because their opponents are not that tough, so from now on PSG is a little calm because they only need to develop a strategy to face Barcelona in the Champions League match because PSG's big obstacle at the moment is only that match. Apart from that, PSG can still face it easily. Barcelona has also improved its performance so PSG must carefully prepare themselves before meeting Barcelona.

Currently, several players have been called up to defend their national teams. France have 2 friendlies for the rest of the month where they will play against Germany and Chile. This is a match that may not be very important for all the teams from these three countries, so in my opinion the coach doesn't need to field his best players throughout the match, especially if he doesn't want his players to get injured.

The Ligue 1 competition cannot be compared to what we see in other European leagues, even on rating of the top five European leagues, Ligue 1 is the least of them because of the less competitive football taken place there. I was thinking they would have won their first Champions League trophy when they had the best players in their teams, the likes of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe; but still they could not win it. I don’t know the type of squad they need now to become very dominant in that competition to be able to win the trophy now. There’s no doubt that every year they must qualify because no other team in their league can stand them to beat them for the league trophy. They just need to strengthen their squad and have a good manager that can coach them to win their first champions league trophy. This year is not an exception, I hope they can try their best to win it.

They were always capable of getting a win, they just didn't really want to push themselves too much, used a bit of rotation in some of them as well. The thing is that we are talking about a team that will take a while to lose that title run, even after Mbappe leaves they will probably not have any problems and they will cause a lot of issues for sure.

I think it's clear that we are going to end up with better results, we just need to give it some time. I hope that PSG does get a competition though, some super wealthy guy buying Lyon or something, that would make it much better and the competitiveness in the league would skyrocket, plus everyone will watch a lot more games so the quality of the league would go up too.

The results of this round surprised me a little, especially in PSG's game against Montpellier, I expected PSG to win, but I didn't expect to see the number of goals they had in that game. PSG's first goal was incredible, Montpellier's defense simply watched the PSG player displaying his performance until he shot and scored, and minutes later again Montpellier's defense just watched the PSG players dominate Montpellier's defense until the mbappe scores the second goal. It was already clear that it would be a game in which Montpellier would be humiliated. but Montpellier scored 1 goal and with that they reduced the advantage that PSG had, I must say that it was a goal that PSG's defense did very badly. and again PSG's defense did shit

and Montpellier won a penalty and managed to score the second goal, so the game was tied. there were two goals that PSG conceded because of the stupidity the defense committed, and the 1 half ended. With that I soon changed my mind and thought it would be a very balanced game as PSG showed serious flaws in defense, but in the 2 half Mbappe scored a goal from a distant shot, it seems that Montpellier's goalkeeper is not very talented, because again I conceded another goal in the same way, a goal in favor of PSG, the disappointment was visible on the faces of the Montpellier players, and it was only the beginning because PSG later scored 2 more goals. In that game Montpellier tried hard and dreamed of a balanced game after having managed to draw the game. but their hope was completely crushed and they left with a humiliating defeat

One thing remains clear: PSG depends on Mbappe, but with this current coach this dependence is no longer as great as in the past, so I believe that if Mbappe leaves PSG, then PSG can get good players to take Mbappe's place. . I was not surprised by PSG's victory at home to Montpellier even though the score was that high, because in Ligue1 PSG is still really strong and no team has been able to surpass PSG's toughness this season and the same goes for previous seasons. I didn't even expect that PSG would lose to any rival in Ligue1 in the remainder of this season so I really wasn't surprised by the big win that PSG got at home to Montpellier. Moreover, the Montpellier team is a lower ranked team which is quite easy for PSG to beat.

But it's also possible, if for example Montpellier doesn't equalize the score at 2-2, then maybe Enrique would have pulled Mbappe in the second half because the team's position has already won. But yes, because Montpellier managed to equalize the score to 2-2 in the first half, it is clear that PSG will prove their quality again in the second half until yes, in the end Montpellier was completely destroyed at home because they were defeated by PSG with a big score of 2 -6.

But indeed, because Montpellier is only a team in the bottomzone of the standings so of course Montpellier not have the same quality as PSG, even though Montpellier lost by a big score, it seems like the score was just an ordinary score. Except, if Montpellier is also in the top zone of the standings and is in the competition for the top four, then that makes a big score like this a surprise but yes, however, it is not strange if PSG manages to win with a big score likethis, because basically PSG is a team that has big dominance in Ligue 1.

Mbappe was the only one at PSG after Neymar and messi's departure. His departure is certainly a big red flag for PSG especially for the next season. If he leaves there will surely be someone to replace him but there is enough doubt among fans as to who will be his equal. We have seen that since he announced his departure from the club, the coach has been reluctant to give him a chance to play. However, even if PSG can top the League 1 this season, it is almost clear that their condition may worsen in the next season. Coach Luis Enrique is now heavily criticized on how to handle the team.

PSG really exploded in this game.    They got three draws in a row before this win you know and this was a huge way to put an end to the bad streak. Mbappe has nearly scored the half amount of the goals PSG have scored in the league so far. PSG would really be likely to be in trouble without him as long as they don't improve the team effort to get score contribution from as many players as possible.

For example if PSG become like Arsenal then they wouldn't rely on one player. You know how great Arsenal are on this work this season. Having a solid system is really important for a team to be more consistent.

Actually, this is too much thinking, if we look at the list of top scorers in Ligue 1 then we can all see the difference in goals scored by Mbappe and Jonathan David, only 9 goals different, while Mbappe and David's selling points are very different so even though Mbappe left PSG, surely PSG will be able to find a replacement striker and will continue to dominate Ligue 1.


If we discuss PSG in the Champions League, it will be difficult because PSG will find it very difficult to compete with other big teams such as Madrid and Man City. The furthest I think PSG can reach is the semifinals of the Champions League.

This match was quite an enjoyable moment for Mbappe, even though he was rumored to be leaving, he still played well for PSG so he was able to score a hat trick in that match. Apart from Mbappe, who played well in this match, there were two other players who also played quite well, namely Vitinha and Muani. The opponents PSG faced were not very strong, but I saw that PSG played quite coordinated in this match so they were able to score lots of goals.

PSG will face Marseille for the next match and this will put PSG even further away from the title challengers. I see that the competition in Ligue 1 is not that competitive because it is very difficult for other teams to break PSG's dominance so they can play more relaxedly for the title.

Clermont has been done well yesterday because they had just gets their 4th winning this season by beating Le Havre with narrow scores although they have to playing with 10 players since minutes 30 in the first half but Clermont can able to managed their performance until this match ended and finally Clermont can collect 3 points but this result still cannot lifted up Clermont position from the bottom of league standings and with only 8 matches remaining i am not sure Clermont can able to avoiding relegation zone or not

Indeed Clermont have to facing difficult situation and since last season Clermont always be fight to avoiding relegation zone but i was wondering why Pascal Gastien position as a manager still safe because Clermont is really messed up under him however i am interested to talking about Clermont upcoming opponent because on week 27 they will fight against Toulouse and i know from the position on league standings Toulouse is much better but if we see from head to head statistics Clermont was unbeatable since 2022 from Toulouse and i know it's hard but there is a chance for Clermont to extended their good records especially the winning result from Le Havre is really boosted their mentally

That contest was incredible! In the second half, PSG's intensity was like a football masterclass. Montpellier fought back from a 2-goal hole in the first half, so I thought they might pull off a miracle. PSG changed gears, and how! 4 more goals and Mbappé's hat-trick? Thats crazy. It felt like a friendly versus a weaker team, not a tough Ligue 1 match.

Discuss Montpellier's two goals. That was surprising, especially against PSG. It offered hope, right? With their second-half display, PSG destroyed any chances of a comeback. It shows they can dominate despite pressure. The team is in a league of its own in Ligue 1, but when will they dominate European competitions?

With the current position of PSG in the France league, they do not need to worry about winning the Ligue 1 title because they can win the title even if they perform regularly now. Since they have no worries about the Ligue 1 title, PSG should focus entirely on the Champions League. 

The Champions League tournament will be very difficult for them and they have failed in almost all the Champions League tournaments they have played so far. This season they qualified for the quarter finals although they were eliminated from the Super Sixteen last season. Since they have qualified for the quarter finals this season, their first target will be to qualify for the semi finals. Hope they prepare maximum and definitely do well in Champions League.

However, PSG's performance was indeed very strong, many did not expect that PSG would be able to score so many goals when they competed away from home, of course this really embarrassed the home team who had put pressure on them in the first half by scoring 2 goals even though PSG also scored 2 goals, but in the second half PSG really aggressively attacked, making it difficult for the home team until finally PSG achieved a fantastic victory. PSG is way too good for Montpelier, even when you check the overall performance of Montpelier this season you will agree with me that it was a bonus game for PSG but then they were not willing to underestimate and that's why PSG played with all seriousness and making sure they get as much goal as possible because they obviously weren't wanting to make any mistake or take chances.

Montpelier wasn't in the firm to make up any form of resistance against PSG but they did tried to get two goals even with the fact that PSG was mercilessly scoring them and humiliating them but then PSG would have probably stood a chance to draw if they had not made sure to have enough goals to keep them much ahead of Montpelier such that they will not be able to score enough goal that will at any point take them close to PSG or even get an equalizer which may possibly turn out detrimental to PSG but then as the best team they had a brilliant victory.

PSG has been able to maintain they top position on the Ligue 1 making them even more probably to win the Ligue 1 as their custom has been most seasons, they have continued with their customary dominance in the Ligue 1 and may continue to till whenever any team is bold enough to come get it away from them which I'm not seeing happening this season but maybe next season after the exit of mbappe.

Yes, maybe at the moment Lyon looks better than before, when they are down, they always get very bad results, but that doesn't guarantee that if the start of this season starts with a good performance, there are definitely other clubs like Lille and Monaco that can prevent Lyon from getting the runner up position.
The results of several recent matches, Lyon has always won, but as the end of the season approaches, we will all start to worry again because the match schedule Lyon has to face are big clubs at the top who are much stronger, such as PSG, Monaco, Lille and Brest.
Some of these matches were very bad when they had to face PSG when playing away and also when facing Lille, Lyon had to play away which would make it difficult for Lyon to secure points.

There are several alternatives that Lyon can do now, they have to consistently get points even though they will only compete in a draw and definitely not get out of the top 10 in order to maintain their reputation to be improved in the next season.

This was a very comfortable win for Paris Saint Germain, and it was natural because the opponents they faced were far below them. They don't miss many opportunities, and they can almost always turn the opportunities they get into goals. In fact, what surprised me was that Montpellier was able to score 2 goals in this match, even though it was not something commensurate with the goals scored against them.
This result made them win again after they could only draw in the last 3 matches. However, when we talk about Paris Saint Germain in Ligue 1, it's like talking about this competition as belonging to them. That happened because they were very superior in Ligue 1, almost no team could compete with them. No team has the same quality as them so that means they can comfortably continue to dominate Ligue 1 without any obstacles that can stop them. But for me that doesn't satisfy me, because they also can't compete in European competitions. It would be amazing if they could also do it in European competitions like the Champions League.
