As per my definition a humiliating defeat is when somebody loses something of importance, but in all honesty if PSG lost this game, it wouldn't have changed anything. They are so far ahead that I think we will get to see more often games where it looks as if their opponent in the domestic league could beat them. But it doesn't matter after all because they can easily afford to lose a couple of games while focusing on the Champions League, if this is what their intention is. But I doubt that we will see the best game possible for as long as they have this comfortable lead and don't have to fear that the title could be at threat. The league is essentially over and I doubt that PSG is playing these league games at 100% of their capacity.
With the 11 point lead they have I think I agree with you. There would be nothing embarrassing if PSG lost to Rennes in that match. Maybe it will be a great achievement for Rennes fans as they will become the second team to beat PSG. But for PSG it will not change anything in the standings table. I think currently PSG is focusing on the Champions League match. They can play without pressure in league matches because of the points advantage they have. I think the teams that actually need to work hard to maintain their position are Brest and Monaco because their points are not much different from those ranked below them. I think the fight for the 2 remaining tickets to the Champions League will be very interesting to watch.

Yes they can play without pressure and yet they will win most of their games because the difference in quality of the teams across the whole league is too big. There is PSG and then there is nothing for a very long time until maybe Monaco or some team has decent quality, but none of the teams can get remotely close to what PSG has in their team. That's why the upcoming results can't be taken fully seriously. If in this phase of the season when PSG is 11 points ahead some team wins against them or ties a game, it doesn't mean that it was an extraordinary performance of that team. It is more likely that PSG just doesn't care anymore, which is quite boring to be honest.

I think the PSG team's motivation when playing in the Champions League will be different so it has nothing to do with whatever results they get in Ligeu one.
And it must be admitted that PSG's performance this season has decreased slightly compared to last season, but being able to defend the title in League 1 is not a difficult thing because the quality difference is quite significant between PSG and other teams and financially PSG is also far superior, so it is natural only if there is no team capable of matching them in league 1.
In Ligue1 PSG can still do a lot to get good results with more satisfying results because remembering that other teams are not better than PSG itself. However, in the Champions League, PSG still cannot do much to get satisfactory results because the quality of the teams they face in the Champions League is always different from the teams that PSG often faces in Ligue1. I even still doubt PSG when they visit Real Sociedad in the second leg of the Champions League even though PSG already has two goals in aggregate for the second leg.
Real Sociedad is a strong team. In their first match against PSG, they had injured players and were very impressed with them. Of course, they may have a chance in the second match when these problems are eliminated. Still, we have to say that PSG has an advantage and 2 points will give them an advantage. PSG is a quality team and I am sure they will compete well in the rematch. League 1 is still a league in which they can easily win the championship. It has no serious rivals.

The thing about PSG failing to win is the fact that we are talking about bets that go wrong, that is the most important thing. I understand that they will win the league there is no doubt about that part but just because they will win the league doesn't mean that the yare going to be great, it just means that we are going to end up with a lot more bets lost because of this, that's the biggest problem.

I believe that we are going to end up with PSG failing to win more games, and our bets will be nothing when that happens. I understand that they do not have to care because they will win for sure, but that just results with them making us lose our money because they didn't care. We know that they can win any game they want, so it is a tough situation to lose when you know they could have won.

In Ligue 1, no one doubts PSG, even before the competition started, PSG was already the favorite to become champion, but the lack of competitiveness in this competition was detrimental for PSG, which could not develop to be able to compete fiercely in the Champion League.
As we saw in the previous season, even though PSG had many top players, they were unable to win the Champions League title.
The competition to win Ligue 1 has actually ended now and I am quite sure that there is no team in Ligue 1 that will be able to break PSG dominance in the league even in the next few seasons, the lack of big investors who want to acquire other teams in Ligue 1  make the competition unbalanced and not ompetitive so far, when many Middle Eastern investors want to acquire mediocre teams in other European leagues, but it seems as if their no interest in trying to acquire teams in Ligue 1, I don't know, what the reasons from big investors cant want to invest in teams in Ligue 1 other than PSG owner?

We cannot deny that the lack of competitiveness in Ligue 1 is that this also affects the mentality that PSG has when playing in European competitions such as the Champions League, although their squad is full of star players, the different mental pressure compared to the domestic league is certainly a reason from me to doubt PSG can win the Champions League, currently PSG has an aggregate of 2 goals ahead of Sociedad and at least that gives them a slight advantage in the second leg, but the real test for PSG mentality will be when they reach the top 4 of the Champions League in my opinion.

Could Lens put an end to Lyon's winning streak of four games this Sunday? The game is at Lyon's stadium by the way. In their previous game against each other we watched a really nice competition. Maybe Lyon lost but they were able to fight back for quite a long time. The final score was 3-2 as well. Now Lyon are in a much better condition.

Thinking about this one might want to trust Lyon in this one but I can't really. Their form is great but I would still like to place a safer bet on this game. Double chance for Lyon has 1.40 odds and it is 1.70 for both teams to score. I think both will happen but I would prefer both teams to score to increase the total odds.  Smiley

Lens may have a better performance this season and a better position in the league table since they are 6th in the league standing while Lyon are currently in the 10th position but looking at the current form of Lyon it will be a very big risk to choose Lens to win from away when Lyon has gotten 4 consecutive wins in their last home and away matches. Lyon lost in their last meeting with Lens when they were in poor form but with their recent performance, I think pick a bts in the game would be a preferred option but a risk taker wouldn't mind to try out Lyon to win since they are playing in their home ground.

Got capital after winning first leg match over two goals seems more enough for second leg match in Champion League for PSG and get bigger chance for qualifying to quarter final. In domestic league, PSG is comfortable with their current standings has 11 points left from Brest and I think before reach to matchday 30 will be the winner of domestic league.

Actually Ligue 1 lack competitive and easily for PSG dominating every season, played 23 matches in domestic league and get 11 points gap from Brest I think Ligue 1 have been over. PSG could focus their target for winning Champion League in this season since acquisition by Nasser Al-Khelafi PSG never winning the UCL trophy until right now.
Since PSG was owned by Naseer, since then Ligue 1 has been nicknamed the farmers league, how could it not be, with the power of money owned by Naseer he was able to instantly turn PSG into the most dominant club in Ligue 1, and even too easy for us to guess which club will be can win Ligue 1 even when the season hasn't started, currently PSG performance in the league is undeniable and since the start of the season no one has doubted that PSG failed to win Ligue 1, but PSG  quite strong performance in the league does not make PSG a scary club in current champions league and is proven by their always failure to get their first champions league trophy even though they have been strengthened by many star players.

PSG problem in the Champions League at the moment seems to lie only in consistency, although PSG is quite strong in the league, their performance is actually very monotonous when they have to face teams from other leagues, the uncompetitive competition in the league certainly makes the mentality of the PSG players not very strong when facing other European teams and this was proven to happen in the Champions League round of 16 match against Real Sociedad, we all admit that Real Sociedad is the weakest team compared to other teams from Spain at the moment, but in the match against PSG, Real Sociedad was actually able to gave quite fierce resistance to PSG despite the defeat, so if PSG looked very strong, of course they would be able to score lots of goals in that match.

To qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League I don't think it's difficult for PSG, they are already ahead by 2 goals in the first leg and even though the second leg is being played at home to Real Sociedad, I think PSG still has quite a big chance because in terms of quality PSG is much stronger. compared to Real Sociedad this season.

PSG has an 11-point advantage over Brest, taking into account the fact that they started not in the best way. It is clear that having such an advantage, they take games in League 1 more calmly, and if there is a draw in some match, this will not affect them in any way.

I didn’t understand what you meant about the return match of PSG in the Champions League, it seems to me that the issue with the winner of this pair has already been resolved, Real Sociedad will not be able to beat PSG by three goals, it is simply impossible. Don't underestimate PSG, it seems to me that even with this squad they are a very dangerous team, and Enrique is still capable of surprising in this playoffs.

Maintaining dominance in Ligue 1 without Kylian Mbappe is not difficult for PSG, not because they are a rich club who will always be ready to provide big money to buy other players who are considered to be able to bring PSG to the best performance, but also because other clubs in Ligue 1 are PSG's competitors so far do not have the same quality as PSG so these clubs often fail to remain competitors until the end of the season
PSG needs Mbappe as a core player for their plan to win Champions League. They brought Messi to their club because they wanted to win Champions League, not Ligue 1. Without Messi, Neymar, they are going to win this Ligue 1 season and maybe next season, without Mbappe, they will win it too.

With many star players, PSG are able to win Ligue 1 without these super star players and first they are strong, second other clubs are not competitive enough to beat PSG.

Quote
However, for the Champions League this will still be a question, many predict that it will be increasingly difficult for them to become a team to be reckoned with in the Champions League without Mbappe
This season looks weird for PSG as they were nearly out after the group phase but they joined the round of 16 from a very slim chance. Now things look better for PSG as they have a high chance to join quarter finals that will help them to go nearer to a final match.

PSG are at least able to dominate the Ligue 1 despite not being able to win a single Champions League title so far.  Smiley

However when Mbappe leaves the team this summer I will be curious about how much PSG will keep up their dominance in the Ligue 1 as well. Because Mbappe has been playing the biggest role in his team to win this title for many years. When he leaves PSG will need to start stronger and more consistent as a team. They have added quite young and talented players to the team such as Kolo Muani, Ramos and so on. I hope they can benefit from these players at the highest level.

However, for the Champions League this will still be a question, many predict that it will be increasingly difficult for them to become a team to be reckoned with in the Champions League without Mbappe, but the opposite could happen because without Mbappe there will be no players to focus on so that balance will be created,m and role of coaches are very important in building a strong squad so they can compete in the Champions League and maybe even become champions.

Well, it is a fact that PSG will be a team that has everything to win Ligue 1, and this will be a great advance for Luis Enrique who came as a huge Alternative for the team , After having 3 great Forwards and not having achieved anything Well, it is obvious that the coach was the culprit, I know it was like that, according to the Sheikh I don't know why he left a coach for so long who did nothing but just wanted to win Ligue 1, at this time it is not obvious that the coach PSG will be the leader and winner of Ligue 1 because what they have shown, so they lose, I don't think they will achieve it, and because in Ligue 1 I don't know why they play with so much fear, it's as if the whole team revolved around them to Mbappé and that he was the one who decided Everything, in this order of ideas and Luis Enrique is taking matters into his own hands and has everything Ready to get out of Mbappé is a very Complicated player , He uses it to Score goals and then Takes it out.

I think that Luis Enrique no longer likes Mbappé's way of playing, because if he is thinking about MADRID there is Nothing to do, in fact he himself has already given the verdict that the French player will leave for Madrid and this is Almost a fact, the Things Could be very Different if you look at it from another point of view, but considering what the team can do , I'm Thinking that a solution for Madrid will be to quickly look for new players, and those players will be the ones who eventually get out of this crisis. to a team that has everything to be the best  Until now they are the best in France but they can make a difference if they start studying how to make better signings, I personally have not seen very very good players, something like Messi, CR7, no, it's Because not even Mbappé and Haaland are as good as these legends.

It’s official: Mbappe’s era at PSG is over

Indeed, Luis Enrique has been good coach for PSG and he succeeded in bringing PSG back to win Ligue 1, but whether their greatest achievement will only be in Ligue 1 continuously, they must be able to win titles in major competitions such as the UCL.
Luis Enrique is also great coach and he has lot of experience, such as being the coach of Spain and Barcelona, there is possibility that PSG can still perform well even without Mbappe.
But seeing how overall PSG players without Mbappe are like team without strength, Luis Enrique might have several alternative players who could be brought in to replace Mbappe.
PSG is big team that has very good finances and can even be categorized as rich team, but finding great players is not an easy matter.

It just that the decision to leave Mbappe will have advantages and disadvantages for each party, they just need to find out the best steps for the future.
I really can't believe that if Mbappe continues with PSG he can get the UCL title he wants even under the leadership of great coach like Luis Enrique.
In the future, we will see Mbappe achieve various successes with Real Madrid and witness Luis Enrique performance with PSG in building the team to be better.

As the strongest team in France, Paris Saint Germaine starts every league game as favourites to win it at the final whistle but despite the expectations of football fans in general and the club fans precisely, I don't expect Paris Saint Germaine to win  every league game they're involved in. Over the weekend, they player against Rennes in the French league and because they were playing the game at home, a lot of people staked their bets with the option that Paris Saint Germaine were gonna win the game but unfortunately for them, Rennes held them to a scored draw. Despite the result, I think Paris Saint Germaine are still gonna win the French league at the end of the current season.
Stability and consistency of each team will always change, not all top team can win because draw or defeat can happen at any time.
However, if we talk about the championship title, it can be said that the strongest team with very small percentage of losses with higher number of wins will certainly have very easy chance of winning the championship title.
PSG is not team that has consistent and stable performance but they are still the strongest in Ligue 1, so far I don't think there is any team that can dominate the competition apart from them.

PSG didn't have much problem facing Real Sociedad in the second leg after they had 2 goals in hand. Luis Enrique is a coach who can be relied on enough to win matches against these La Liga representatives, so I think you can put your trust in him because PSG's journey in the Champions League this season looks good to qualify for the quarter-finals.

PSG is not thinking much about Ligue 1 as they lead the standings with a large points gap. This can provide many benefits for PSG because they can really focus on the Champions League. I would doubt PSG in the quarter-finals if they met teams like Manchester City or Real Madrid, but the match will definitely be tough for them if they meet other strong teams like Arsenal and Inter.
Champions league are for the elite teams, clubs that are have strong background and not panic by the actions and brilliant results from their oppositions. PSG have almost made to the next phase because what more to expects from this upcoming UCL second leg? Paris Saint-Germain nailed Real Sociedad 2 nil in the first leg, giving Les Parisiens full hope of qualifying from this current round of 16. Luis Enrique will make only few changes and either bargain for draw tie against the Spanish side who crawl on their kneels to do an epic comeback.
Yes and PSG is one of the elite clubs but not with the experience and strength of management which always fails to provide opportunities for the coaches when they fail to deliver the champions league title they will definitely be fired.
One of PSG's weaknesses is that it causes losses to its own club without giving opportunities to coaches who have failed in winning the title for PSG, whereas the title can be achieved if they give opportunities to coaches who fail and failure for coaches is a very valuable lesson that can be used as a reference in next season.

But PSG often fires coaches as we have seen and the result is that even though they have quality players, they also fail to win the title and even reach the final match which is very difficult.
Meanwhile, after this PSG will lose its flagship player and do we still believe that PSG will be successful in the Champions League?
For the league 1 title I still believe PSG can dominate the league 1 title but for the champions league title I doubt it unless they can bring in Osimhen and keep Enrique for a few seasons.

Regards Lyon matches against Strasbourg, Lyon are dominating the ball possession and still finding it difficult to make a win throughout the first half, I have much confidence that Lyon can win the match because of their presents performance and Strasbourg are not in good form now. Let see how the second half will go.
One thing I understand about football now is that no matter how dominating a club is it doesn't guarantee there winning because if dominance were to be the main factor of success to every club that means Manchester City and so many other good clubs would not have been losing matches because I have seen and watch different matches and sometimes the club that has the highest possession normally end up losing and sometimes they win, so perhaps aside from dominance I think one of the things those clubs should have been is consistency because if they are not consistent no matter how dominating they can be they will hardly win there match, so perhaps that's what happened on the match between Lyon and Strasbourg because Lyon was in a good shape than Strasbourg and they have the highest possession on that match because they dominated from the first half to the end of the match but were unable to score do to the fact that they lack consistency on that match but they were still very lucky to have won Strasbourg through penalty shootout.

Nice at the beginning of league can occupy second place under PSG this makes people start to thinking probably Nice can being an decent opponent for PSG for race title this season but Nice was unable to managed their consistency and their performance recently is very dissapointing because in the last 4 matches in Ligue 1 Nice only able to collect 2 points and these results is makes Nice position have to out from top 3 and 2nd place was taking over by Brest who can able to performing more consistent than them and last week too Nice was unable to win from weak team Clermont

Nice upcoming opponent is Toulouse but i think Toulose cannot be underestimate because Toulouse was unbeatable in the last 3 matches they even has successfully to gets the winning result from tough team Lille last week and indeed if we see based on head to head statistics Nice records is more good than Toulouse because Nice can able to gets 3 wins from 5 latest meeting and besides these records from the odds too i can see Nice is the favourite with odds @2.28 so it's very interesting to see the outcomes of this match whether Nice can able to return to the winning ways or they will be failed to win again

Even if Mbappe leaves PSG, they have many good players. I believe PSG can still continue dominating the French league. If Mbappe goes, PSG will try to find another player as good as him. PSG doesn't always worry about spending money on good players. Other teams need good players like PSG if they want to stop psg for dominating French Ligue continously, but they might not want to spend a lot of money to get type of psg players . So, PSG will keep trying to be the best team. Even if Mbappe goes, they will find someone else. PSG has a lot of money to buy good players. Other teams might not have as much money, so it's hard for them to compete with PSG. But if they want to win, they need to spend money on good players too.

But their goal is not to dominate the French league because that goal has been accomplished for over a decade now and it won't change for as long as PSG is by far the richest and most financially support club in Ligue 1. it is not a question of effort, but a question of money and I don't see why that would change in the near future.

PSG had the goal to dominate European football and they failed on all fronts. That is the biggest failure they have to accept and the plan was to become the best team in Europe and convince the top players to go to PSG that way. But now the project failed and Mbappe is jumping ship. The loss is now even bigger as Mbappe leaving the club sends a signal to all the young and ambitious talents that PSG couldn't do it with Mbappe, so the chances of doing it without Mbappe are even smaller.

Despite the fact that if UCL still remains the main target for PSG but the club shall not also abandon french league. As a club with biggest valuation and it's a common thing when this league is farmed by PSG. Having unlimited money is helping the club so much in rebuilding everything in matter of weeks.
There were many players left from PSG last season but enrique has been successfully bringing so many new players to the club. Expecting mbappe to leave at the end of season will be giving PSG another problem that is not yet solving by enrique.
So far, no clue has been coming up from PSG regarding which player that will become mbappe's replacement in the future. We can argue that if psg will not be as strong as this time caused by mbappe hjave been contributing a lot to the clubs.

Then, did you count mbappe is the same as a whole players in the team? I think that's really wrong. Just count mbappe as someone who contributed a lot to the club. Mbappe has biggest role but this is the biggest valuation in french league as well.
Are you worrying PSG will not able to find someone who can play as good as mbappe?

There were many players who will able to be a replacement for him but not to be the same as mbappe itself. Don't worry. Everything will fine. Im seeing there's still no player who can fill mbappe's position.
It's not even muani and goncalo ramos. Singing osimhen or guirassy probably become the only best way for PSG.

Marseille managed to break the curse of a draw against Montpellier and this time they did not hesitate to beat Montpellier with a landslide score of 4-1. Previously, we knew that the last two meetings both ended in the same 1-1 draw and at that time quite a few bettors lost money because they had too much hope in Marseille winning. I still remember last season being so annoyed because my multibet was ruined just because one result didn't meet expectations in this match and now I can start to see Marseille running as it should.

The dismissal of Gattuso as Marseille coach seems to provide a breath of fresh air and it should be noted that this is Marseille's first win in Ligue One after 5 matches without producing any wins. Marseille's new coach, Jean-Louis Gasset, can produce different results and of course it would be great to see Marseille be able to resume its lost winning streak. Marseille will not give up before the season ends and they still have the chance to win a place in European competition.
But it seems that most bettors also lose if they bet by relying on the track record of the Marseille Vs Montpellier match, because they are indoctrinated to get a draw too and Marseille actually managed to get a victory with a landslide scor.

I saw several new coaches in various leagues and they made a good contribution, and for his first week it was common to get a win, we don't know with JLG whether he will have a good impact after breaking the curse and can bring Marseille to win consistently in the future, before I also did not congratulate him on his arrival and competing in the French league one.

However, there are times when all these records can be broken and I think Marseille's advantage in this match is one of them being the host and also having a different strategy than before. The rotation carried out by several players ahead of this match was really matured by coach Jean-Louis Gasset and maybe that is what made Marseille even more mature. It would be a shame if the bettors had to lose money as a result of betting on a draw and maybe next time they can fully expect Marseille with the current coach.

I know that there are no guarantees because a new coach may still find it difficult to find the right adaptation for his squad and maybe this will also be what Marseille will experience in the future. However, if this all persists and Marseille never loses in the last 5 matches in the future then it can be said that coach Jean-Louis Gasset is the right coach for Marseille. The turnover of trainers is very fast when someone leaves and vice versa, those who come also get to know each other very quickly. Honestly, I don't know yet if Marseille have found a replacement for Gattuso and only found out after I found out from various sources yesterday. It's good to see Marseille making the right move.
