In terms of the depth of the PSG team, Of course they are much stronger than all the team in Ligue 1 so they always manage to maintain their progress towards becoming champion. Indeed, in yesterday match, PSG almost lost, But they still managed to avoid it with a goal from Gancalo ramos in the final minutes of the match. Now the difference between Psg and Brest is 11 point and of course this is a season where PSG can lock up the title early. It's only fitting that PSG gain this dominance in League 1 because finances play an important role in the team's future, but the problem for me is that it's just a waste of money if you spend a lot of money on quality players but have difficulty getting titles in the UCL like PSG did a few seasons ago there is no shortage of quality players like Mbappe, Messi and Neymar, this is a truly perfect line up but PSG still failed in terms of winning the title in the UCL.

It is good for PSG future with this preparation of Enrique as their position in Ligue 1 is very safe already. 11 points more than Brest is a safe different and PSG don't need to use Mbappe too much in Ligue 1. The reason why they've been dominating the league is simply because they've spent more money in signing quality players than any other team in the French league and for a club that spends as outrageous as Paris Saint Germaine, you don't expect them to struggle in dominating the entire league.

Even though it sometimes makes you wonder what it would be like when PSG suffers such losses with this squad, they are not currently in any risk for the league championship, they seem to accept such points losses. These kind of teams usually doesn’t have to play much to get past each stage as they are most times usually escaping with narrow wins.We’ve had these kind of team in almost each season of the UCL and for last season one thing we can see that matches this description is Inter Milan. At the start of the campaign no one thought they’ll be able to pose a threat of any sort or even if they’ll, they won’t be able to stay in the competition for long.

 To our biggest surprise this team overcame every hurdle and got to the final of the competition although they didn’t win it as they were played by a very determined Manchester City team who had gotten to the final consecutively. Well this now brings us to this season surprise wonder and many believe PSG could be the surprise of the season. Well In as much as PSG aren’t up to standard of being called class on European competition, We can’t neglect the fact that this team is now better shaped especially since the addition of Luis Enrique to this team. Luis is one tactical genius and his tactics has now made this team look even and better shaped.

 You can see the improvements of the team when he changed the tactics and how they performed in the first leg at home to Real Sociedad. Well the 2nd leg though they’re going to that match comfortably but I’ll love to see how they perform away from home. Yes performing excellently away from home is also a boost to the team confidence and that can make us start seeing the team as maybe the surprise team of the UCL this season. This team is majorly focused on the UCL as for their league they’re having a resounding 11 point gap to 2nd place and they don’t seem to be under pressure. Well even if they don’t give a stellar performance this season, I think they’re a team to look out for next season as they’ll be having some nice additions and which I believe with Enrique in charge he’ll sure do wonders in this club.

If they manage to get 3 points, Rennes can move up to 6th place, past Lens, and open up a big opportunity to finish in the Europa League zone. In fact, they still have the chance to finish in the top four of the standings, because they are only 5 points adrift of Nice, who are currently in fourth place.

Brest has been very good this season and right now they are currently one of the best club on this league season because there efforts on this league season is very commendable because there last season was not this good in terms of there performance but they were able to set a target this season and they are currently achieving it, however one of the ways to evaluate how strong a club has been, is only by checking there match statistics because checking Brest statistics you will no that the club is very strong because there last 15 matches has been very encouraging with the outcome of it because they have only lost  1 match out of the 15 matches they have played that is why they have been able to secure the position they are currently on, and perhaps with the way they are currently performing they may likely become a threat to PSG if PSG fails to be consistent on there remaining matches.

Too bad that the league is over already and that it doesn't really matter whether PSG loses or not. The biggest issue is that even if they lose this game, it would require another team to win like at least six or seven games in a row to have a chance to close the gap. PSG won't lose several games in a row, but it is as unlikely that any other team could win so many games in a row.

For Renne it would be three big points if they can maintain their lead and win the game as that would still keep them in the race for the Champions League qualification. It would make it four points and the teams ahead of them aren't brilliant either.

discussing PSG's performance in the UEFA Champions League, PSG will not be able to compete with Madrid and Man City (I favor these two teams over PSG) but for the local league, no team will be able to match PSG, they are too powerful and unmatched (although in some matches they had the misfortune of losing), PSG's defeat is still 1 but they have had quite a lot of draws. Enrique is a pretty good coach, but he must be able to make the PSG squad not dependent on Mbappe, especially since the issue is that Mbappe will soon move to Madrid.

yep, I know that PSG without Mbappe will remain the strongest team in league 1 but if you lose Mbappe, PSG will not be strong enough to dominate the league 1 title in the future or even several times will be replaced other teams who will get the title PSG shot from PSG from the peak of standings when losing mbappe.
I really understand how PSG now the richest team in league 1 because the owner of this team has big fund to continue to bring in quality player and continue to get the top of the standings in each season but it all does not mean anything if you cannot win title at UCL.

TBH, I don't really care whether PSG will lose the title after losing Mbappe but certainly my hope that Mbappe will immediately find the right team to be able to continue his career to become star player and get an impressive experience as long as he young to get more prestigious title than just thinking about money but Never have a career experience at UCL and it's time he must really determine to choose the right team to provide guarantees to having a higher degree compared to surviving with PSG without having an UCL title.

There was two years ago a season where Strasbourg did quite well and ended in the sixth position, otherwise all these years they finished between the 10th position and just above the relegation zone.
Their defeat against Brest was no surprise since Brest are playing good this season that's why they are second by the way.

Looks like Lens can't catch a breath at all. They lost in the last minutes qualification and today even if they scored 2 goals , Monaco managed to score 3 times and took 3 important points.

For Lens , I think at the end of the season , we will see a full reconstruction of the team that should have a goal to not relegate for 2025 season because for this season they are safe.

Also funny how Lyon managed to climb all the way to 10th position when 2 month ago they were literally last place on Ligue 1 with a huge scandal going around the team and staff for putting them into a real relegation situation ...but here we are now and I think we can safely say they won't relegate this year.

At first I was doubtful when I saw the odds were not much different between Strasbourg and Brest but it all seemed to be paid off with the maximum performance given by Brest. I mean, as a top team that even has a chance to occupy second place in the standings, the bookie gives odds that are so big and those should be lower odds than the home team Strasbourg who sits in 13th position in the standings.

The result was not surprising because Brest definitely won and even broke into Strasbourg's goal with 3 goals without reply. I am happy to see Brest returning to their best form and they are taking advantage of Nice's depression which has recently continued to decline without certainty. Even Nice was temporarily thrown into 4th position in the standings. Talking about this season's competition, everything ended when PSG was ahead by more than 6 points and no team was able to stop them except themselves, which made the situation even more chaotic.
