In Ligue One, PSG doesn't have any competitors who put pressure on them, so even if they achieve less than optimal results, it doesn't have any effect on their position at the top of the standings.

However, I was very disappointed with the result of the draw, I thought PSG would use all their strength to win the match at home or build higher confidence before preparing for the second leg of the Champions League against Real Sociedada in the middle of next week, but apparently not.

PSG have a safe position and good point difference against other clubs and very likely they will win Ligue 1 again. A draw is worse than a win, it's undeniable but this draw does not affect PSG position and even does not affect their chance to win Ligue 1.

They also will need to plan next matches in Ligue 1 very well and prepare for Champions League quarter finals too.

They are nearly in quarter finals after good result in a first leg but we don't know a next opponent of PSG in Champions League quarter finals. When round of 16 is completed, we will know a next opponent of PSG and will be able to speculate their chance to go to semi finals and chance to win Champions League better.

Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are biggest teams in Europe but Bayern Munich currently have many problems and they even have risk to be knocked out by Lazio. Beating Real Madrid and Manchester City in Champions League is not easy and if PSG meets these clubs, they will have less chance to be a winner.

They are so far ahead that I think we will get to see more often games where it looks as if their opponent in the domestic league could beat them. But it doesn't matter after all because they can easily afford to lose a couple of games while focusing on the Champions League, if this is what their intention is. But I doubt that we will see the best game possible for as long as they have this comfortable lead and don't have to fear that the title could be at threat. The league is essentially over and I doubt that PSG is playing these league games at 100% of their capacity.

The UCL is always known to have a team who many don’t expect much from them but each time they play they seem to beat the expectations of the fans. These kind of teams usually doesn’t have to play much to get past each stage as they are most times usually escaping with narrow wins.We’ve had these kind of team in almost each season of the UCL and for last season one thing we can see that matches this description is Inter Milan. At the start of the campaign no one thought they’ll be able to pose a threat of any sort or even if they’ll, they won’t be able to stay in the competition for long.

To our biggest surprise this team overcame every hurdle and got to the final of the competition although they didn’t win it as they were played by a very determined Manchester City team who had gotten to the final consecutively. Well this now brings us to this season surprise wonder and many believe PSG could be the surprise of the season. Well In as much as PSG aren’t up to standard of being called class on European competition, We can’t neglect the fact that this team is now better shaped especially since the addition of Luis Enrique to this team. Luis is one tactical genius and his tactics has now made this team look even and better shaped.

You can see the improvements of the team when he changed the tactics and how they performed in the first leg at home to Real Sociedad. Well the 2nd leg though they’re going to that match comfortably but I’ll love to see how they perform away from home. Yes performing excellently away from home is also a boost to the team confidence and that can make us start seeing the team as maybe the surprise team of the UCL this season. This team is majorly focused on the UCL as for their league they’re having a resounding 11 point gap to 2nd place and they don’t seem to be under pressure. Well even if they don’t give a stellar performance this season, I think they’re a team to look out for next season as they’ll be having some nice additions and which I believe with Enrique in charge he’ll sure do wonders in this club.

It must be a long time since France There was a better club than PSG, but I think they have a lot of competitors in the Champions League. In Ligue 1 they are likely to take the top spot because the other clubs can't compete with them. But there are plenty of other top clubs in other leagues.

Their draw with Rennes didn't affect their title run, as I witnessed. With the Champions League in mind, their method is intriguing. To stay fresh for a huge encounter against Real Sociedad, rotating players is smart. They have bigger goals than winning Ligue 1. I mean, who blames them? Top teams compete on all fronts, and PSG is playing long-term.

It seemed like they had no rivals in League 1 anyway. With such results, this was also registered. There is a huge difference in points between the two. No matter who is in second place, they don't seem to threaten the leader too much. It is obvious that no team other than PSG will win the championship this year.
