That is right the first half of the Ligue 1 season last year was quite ok. They had 15 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. We could debate whether they should lose any game at all with their squad, but ok. It is still a good performance.

But you said something that is very important. When they got eliminated from the Champions League, it was as if they were lost. That was proof that the only thing PSG is playing for and that also applies to the players, is the Champions League title. They don't really care about the Ligue 1 title because that is almost a given. But once they get eliminated from the Champions League, the season can already be considered a waste.

Rennes vs PSG, which one you bet?

I can't understand when Rennes will play with a full squad, the match attend in their home, PSG was completely beaten by Newcastle, and PSG can't able to win against Clermont Foot. But, why Rennes is the underdog in this match? the odds Rennes to win is @4.00, that's really high.

I have no reason to not bet Rennes.

If their performance has deteriorated so much at the beginning of the season, then their performance will undoubtedly worsen in the middle or end of the season. Today we witnessed just two games in the french league, they both ended with the visiting teams wining the home team were in able to secure wins even in their home sadly, although the visiting teams were good as compared to the home teams but them it's also possible smaller teams win at time especially Mets who needed a win more.

I don't think so because if PSG were actually building or improving their squad it would be better which has been done since the start of this season while the transfer window was still open and you can see that the decline in PSG performance was greatly influenced by the departure of several of their mainstay players but after the When PSG left they didn't immediately look for replacement so can this be said to be development?
Even PSG have not succeeded in convincing Mbappe to extend his contract so there will be no development for this season and they will have to accept setback unless in the winter transfer window PSG wants to increase the option of recruiting several players for the front line.

For the next League 1 PSG will meet Rennes and maybe they can win but for the UCL they have to fight AC Milan which is pretty strong team in fact I not really sure that in this match PSG will be able to beat Milan.

PSG will be playing Rennes and they really really need this win. Not only because they need it due to the table, they are not leading the league and they can't afford to lose more points, it might be still early in the season but trying to come back from some deficit would be harder and it should be a lot worse if we are not careful, we need to end up with something much better if we know what we are doing.

This is why it's smarter to do something that should be an easy win for them and I will bet on them to win it as well. Also, another reason for them to try to win would be the humiliating loss to Newcastle recently, they need their last game to be a domination, they need to show the world and more importantly their fans that they are not that bad and they are trying their best and so forth. If they end up losing points here as well then fans will be looking for blood and that's never a good thing, they can't keep getting worse, they need to show some improvement on this game.

Inconsistency performance from PSG in this season and make their position dropped to 5th standings behind 4 points left from Nice who has impressive performance after winning over AS Monaco and draw from Brent last match. Unpredictable with PSG performance with many points loss this season have three matches draw and one loss. Upcoming match against Rennes become opportunity for Luis Henrique return to good performance after losing last match in Champion League.

Rennes performance in Ligue 1 not really bad until 7 matches keep unbeaten but they loss many points after having 5 games with draw result and winning two matches of seven matches in Ligue 1. Lack of consistency performance from PSG seems difficult for predicting will easily PSG get their three points or Rennes will make second loss for PSG in Ligue 1.
