This is one of the reasons I am now convinced that Ligue 1 is not competitive like other leagues in the Europe. With current PSG form, they are not suppose to be in top five teams on the table but here they are comfortably topping the table with huge gap between them and Nice. Without Mbappe, PSG seems to be like a second division team. I don't know how they'll survive after his departure next season.
Dominating a game with lots of possessions and not securing a goal doesn't freak me at all. I wasn't impressed with their first half performance despite their dominance because there was no positive result. The attackers were not threatening at all until Mbappe came in as a substitute. Enrique was just trying to be stubborn and decides to bench him. He later regain his senses and brought him up. I think they should just accept that he's leaving and stop pushing agenda.
They've also been able to advance to the round of 16 of the UCL and their Spanish opponent, who's not really a tough side as them but maybe stands a chance to advancing to the next stage. They'll have to be extra prepared for the game ahead. They also have to be careful about their league race. They've got to stay in shape and capacity too. They've got to use the games during the early second half of the season to cover up their tracks and also strive to be far better than Sociedad and even advance to the quarter finals.
