Brest performance are far better than Nice because their last five matches are very incredible because they didn't lose any match, won four and draw one which was against PSG and in the PSG home, but still I wasn't surprised because they are very good in away games than home matches which shows that it's not balanced like that because Nice is the only team in Ligue 1 that as not recorded a defeat at home, they played 10, won seven and draw 3, I can say this will be the only reason for me to say Brest can't close the gap between then and the Nice.

Ligue 1 is a league that is developing rapidly, but unfortunately there are not many big investors coming in and investing in the progress of other teams. PSG is the only rich team that was able to build its squad well, but UEFA rankings depend a lot on all teams instead of just one team.

After all it is not PSG's responsibility to make Ligue 1 better and get a better ranking in UEFA, but it is the job of the French football federation. PSG is just an important part of Ligue 1 that has attracted a lot of world attention, but they cannot be the reason why Ligue 1 is not as good as other leagues.

Yes, Brest is having a good trend recently and there is a big possibility that they could secure in the top three this season. Even, I personally think the Brest team can sit in second place in the standings if they can consistently get lots of points at the end of this season. Moreover, currently the Nice team is not have an impressive trend, the difference between the both team is only 3 points and the gap is not too far.

Lyon in the relegation zone this season, atleast they're moving one step from the relegation zone, heading straight be in a more balance position on the table. It was not an easy run for Lyon this season, things got a little bit messed up. A winning game for Lyon because they dominated every area of the pitch but failed to get the idea connection which is winning the three points. 5 goals was recorded in the game and at the end of the day, Rennes takes the lead after continue pushing for excellent results. Olympique Lyon failed to draw tie with their visitors.

I even think that Brest could secure itself in the top three if Brest can continue to win and not lose in the remaining matches this season. Because I don't see several other teams being strong enough to reach that position, except for Monaco and Lille, they can continue to be consistent in getting full points in the upcoming matches. Because this could put a little mental pressure on Brest, which is currently in the top three of the Ligue1 standings.

This season looks very different for Lyon even though in the previous season they didn't play as badly as they do now. Being in the relegation zone will put more pressure on Lyon and it will probably be much more difficult for them to reach a winning stage in the next few matches. Against Rennes, Lyon didn't look very confident even though they controlled the game so they lost with a score of 2-3.

In the future they will face Merseille and automatically Merseille's strength is much better than Lyon so the opportunity to get points will be much more difficult. If Lyon loses again in the match against Marseille then their position in the standings will get worse because Menz and Toulouse are also struggling to get away from the zone above relegation.

After successfully holding PSG to a draw in yesterday's meeting, of course against Nice was also quite a difficult opponent for Brest. It seems that these two matches are quite complicated because both of them are in the top four of the current standings where they only have a difference of three points. I know that Nice will probably have difficulty against Brest, let alone playing at home. Brest will definitely play optimally to get full points. in the next meeting.

So far Nice and Brest have been very consistent in maintaining their position but Brest has been much better in their last five matches, they have not been defeated once while Nice has suffered two defeats in their last five matches, I think Nice may often make mistakes so they often lose, Nice must be careful careful in Brest's surprising attack which in yesterday's match Brest also surprised PSG by scoring two equalizers which PSG didn't expect, Brest doesn't seem to be a weak team and they look like they will get a win in this meeting, although Nice might make things difficult for Brest.

Lyon is one of the worst club on this French league 1 because there performance is not encouraging at all do to there lack of consistency and if they don't improve on there performance they may likely end up going to relegation on this season because they are at the relegation zone so perhaps the only way they could escape from  relegation is by being consistent on winning majority of there matches from now on.

However it was expected that Lyon was actually going to lose there match against Rennes because irrespective of the fact that Rennes may have not been the best club but in times of reputation and performance they are far better than Lyon because they have manage to secured a very good position on the league and there is still a chance that Rennes will surely advance more on there table.

Brest has reached really good levels this year. They are currently in third place in the league and lost 2 points to PSG in the last match. Making PSG lose points away from home is an achievement. The current match will be against Nice, which is in second place. If they win this match, there is a possibility that they will be second. Everything is going well for Brest. I hope they will close this match with a win and rise to the second place in the league.

What can they do? Find a second group of sheikhs for PSG-2 to appear? Football is a business, the best conditions for business are in England and as we see this is directly reflected in the results. As far as I know, in France, because of taxes, things are much more sad with this and football there as a business is unattractive (PSG is not a business project but a toy in the hands of the sheikhs).
By the way, I'm surprised that things in Italy are not so bad, I heard that they are in decline economically.

I missed the results of Lyon vs Rennes and in my opinion here Lyon put up quite a fierce fight against Rennes. Lyon only lost narrowly and at least they shortened the margin of defeat in the second half. Rennes, who performed well, immediately scored 3 goals in the first half, but this is actually very risky and very vulnerable to a draw if Lyon is able to score 3 goals.

I mean, with so much time in the second half, Rennes shouldn't have been so quickly satisfied with their 3 goal lead and fortunately Lyon was only able to score 2 goals until the final minute. The need to increase the vigilance of defensive players is currently Rennes' focus because they conceded 2 goals when they had a big lead. Apart from all that, Rennes managed to break into the top 10 of the standings and Lyon they failed to move away from the relegation zone with this defeat and I think they have to win the next match even though it is difficult because they will play the Choc des Olympiques derby against Marseille.

France is really way behind top four teams as you can see. Even though the market value of the Ligue 1 (€3.67bn) is nearly three times the value of Eredivisie (€1.26bn) even Netherlands is so close to overtaking France in this rankings. The popularity of the Ligue 1 is also not higher than the past either. It is even going the opposite way while the competition level isn't at a satisfying level due to various reasons. Do you think they would do something to turn things the other way around?

I think both teams have the same strength. and the chances of both of them winning are probably the same. or even a draw, that's what Brest got when facing PSG. Nice is not a weak team, but their game is more defensive. that's Nice's strength. they are the team that has conceded the fewest goals. and if Brest can dismantle Nice's defense, victory is certain for Brest. but on the other hand, if Brest is not alert to a surprise attack from Nice, it could be bad for Brest.

If you look at the titles that Bayern Munich have won in the Bundesliga in succession, Bayern Munich's dominance is actually stronger because PSG, although they have often been champions of Ligue 1, have not been in a row for a decade like Bayern Munich because at least in this decade Lillie and Monaco have managed to become champions even though it was only for one season because then PSG managed to reclaim the Ligue 1 title.

And agree with this, the weak competition in Ligue 1 is one of the reasons why PSG did not manage to perform well in many seasons when they competed in the Champions League because they did not get strong pressure in local matches in contrast to clubs in the English Premier League and Laliga, with the exception of Bayern Munich even tought is in a league that is not too tight, it is quite successful in the Champions League.
Likewise, this season PSG will probably only reach the quarter-finals and semifinals of the Champions League, which is quite a step in my opinion.

PSG can let Enrique go and hire a coach who can help them to win Champions League. They can consider to hire Jose Mourinho if they only aim at Champions League in one or two seasons because Jose is not a coach for long term development.

Enrique even is struggling in PSG to save his job but if leaving PSG to join Barcelona, it looks not a good choice for Enrique because Barcelona now is different than years ago with Messi, Neymar, Suarez. They are weaker now and Enrique will not want to leave a stronger team (PSG) to join a weaker team (Barcelona). He only joins Barcelona if PSG sacks him in the summer that I think possibly. Because if PSG won't win Ligue 1 and Champions League, especially Champions League, Enrique will be sacked.

This Sunday Brest will get strong opponent Nice and recently i was impress to see Brest performance because since got promote on season 2018 this is the first time for Brest to reach top 3 position and Brest recent performance also very fantastic because from 10 matches in all competitions Brest can gets 8 wins and still unbeatable and the latest is Brest was successfully to get draw result from PSG and for Nice just like i said before i was never considers this team as strong contender for PSG for race title because Nice still unable to showing their consistency especially from 4 away matches Nice have already to gets 3 loses and 1 lost

Brest only lost once at home and it come from PSG i think this proven Brest is the team who hard to beated while playing at their home ground and for this match although Nice can be categorized as strong opponent for Brest but Brest have good opportunity to being an the winner of this match because just like i said above that Nice have a problem with their consistency especially during playing at their home ground opponents and my prediction is Brest will be able to beat Nice probably with narrow scores and the odds for Brest is quite high @2.48

Theoretically, PSG can let Enrique go (for example, if PSG loses to Sociedad or not to the strongest team in the quarterfinals), although it seems now that PSG are finally building an adequate long-term project and not a galacticos. The question is different - why does Enrique need this? Now the situation in Barcelona is many times worse than when he coached it last time, it is not just a crisis club (which is profitable to come to since it will not get any worse) but a club with generally incomprehensible prospects. No, I would doubt PSG if one day they lost Mbappe, this club performance would definitely decline and I would also see from the other side that without Mbappe presence this club would be a little weak.
I admit that the PSG president always prioritizes the champions league title, but for me it would be impossible if he didn't give the coach the opportunity to find the right strategy and on the one hand, losing a mainstay player would definitely affect the strength of competing in the champions league.
Unless the PSG president is willing to look for a reliable coach who has a lot of experience, then keep him for the next few seasons and I am sure that in this way PSG will have the opportunity to wins the champions league title.

It's actually a little sad to see PSG's efforts to bring the club to win the Champions League title, spending a lot of money when bringing in Messi and Neymar, but it's all the same PSG was only able to win the title in League 1 without having a title to be proud of.

PSG fought really hard each season to become the UCL Champs but it seems their hardwork is not good enough and I guess it's time for them to upgrade their level of football. PSG are not serious in their league matches, they have top priority, and it's lifting the UEFA Champions League trophy, this is the exact scenario that PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi have been working on, it doesn't last long to watch PSG getting eliminated, however this is new season and It comes with lots of surprises. Other clubs don't possess the big force to drive to becoming threats for Paris Saint-Germain.

Nothing is impossible because if the home team is careless then the opposing team can take advantage of this opportunity, so far Brest's performance is quite good in League 1 and in the last few matches Brest has been on the winning track so that when they face PSG they are in a state of full confidence even though they have to playing away, PSG took the lead in the first half and Brest was able to respond to PSG's attack and managed to equalize and maintain a tight defense so that PSG was unable to increase the total goals to get full points and both clubs had to be satisfied with this draw.

PSG still sits comfortably at the top of the standings and still has quite a big gap so this draw doesn't really have a big impact on PSG because they are still very strong in competing with other League 1 clubs. Because no one poses too big of a threat for PSG to win won the league 1 title, in terms of player strength and performance I think PSG will win another trophy this season.
