Ligue 1's top team PSG drew 2-2 against Brest yesterday.  There is no doubt that PSG is one of the best teams in the French league and there is a significant difference in points between PSG and the second placed team. PSG's performance shows that there is no team in the French league that can compete with them. 
In the last match we saw Brest compete hard with PSG. The first half belonged to PSG but the second half was entirely in favor of Brest. PSG took the lead with two goals in the first half and after scoring two goals in the first half it looked like PSG would add some more goals in the second half but the opposite happened with PSG. Instead of adding goals in the second half, PSG instead put two balls into their own net, which led to a tie in the second half and a point shared between the two teams despite leading in the first half.

PSG domination in Ligue 1 is even bigger than Bayern Munich domination in Bundesliga. These clubs have same style to buy best players from their competitors in domestic clubs and this strategy helps them to destroy competitiveness of direct competitors and help them to improve their squad strength.

In Ligue 1, what you said is true, other clubs are too weak and barely can have good seasons to challenge PSG and beat this giant club. PSG many times had their bad matches but they still completed those seasons with titles because other clubs are too weak to take advantage of PSG's poor performances. In domestic league, PSG easily won titles but it becomes their weaknesses when they play in Champions League. Being familiar with lower quality of matches in Ligue 1 and weak opponents there, they don't have enough quality, carefulness and preparations for tough matches in Champions League.

That's in reality the biggest problem that Ligue 1 has. Not winning games has no consequences for PSG in 9 out of 10 seasons because there is no other team that would be able to achieve more than 80 points in a season. It is not that it never happens because it does happen as we can see in the last few years. But those exceptions happened when, for instance, Mbappe still played for Monaco. But then PSG can still play on another level in Ligue 1 when necessary to win the title. It is still not serious competition after all. Serious competition would be when PSG can't win the title at least two years in a row. I don't think we are going to see that in the foreseeable future.

PSG is once again bottling the easy match against brest. It's not understandable why PSG was not able in winning against brest. Brest has been showing very good consistency in this game. The players were fully defending against PSG and it was helping nice to close to the PSG. Brest was not playing so badly in this game.
PSG is bottling the game and it was missing opportunities to get a few points. Glad to see that brest has been performing very well. In fact, the club is still performing perfectly till now and that's why PSG is still at the top position if league 1.
The draw against brest can still be tolerated as long as PSG will not be repeating the same mistake again in the future match. People are expecting big from PSG but they get false hope now. I think that majority of bettors were picking PSG as their bet and they might be losing it.
PSG is still trying so hard to perform better than before. Im not feeling that happy with the result caused by i was losing my bet but yeah i must admit brest played that very well to defend from any attacks that came from PSG.

Enrique needs to tell his players to play even better in the upcoming match soon. The club is now facing a setback by getting draw against brest. this is a bad result for PSG and for me. Im not expecting brest to force PSG to get draw.

Lens lost 2 weeks in a row because they faced tough opponents, one of them was Nice and the other one was PSG.2 days ago they won away to Toulouse and we can say that they forgot these 2 defeats.They are also worse than last year but they are trying to recover.Their goal is to finish in the top 3 but I don't know if they can achieve this.
In the most important match of the week, PSG and Brest came face to face.2 in-form teams battled it out with no winner.Brest is doing well this season and is scaring the other candidates for the championship, but if they had won this match, maybe things could have changed the other way around.Brrest was 2-0 down in the first half and managed to come back in the second half.It was important for them to get a draw from this away match.

Brest have been having an excellent season so far they have been in good form lately having a more better record in the their last 6 games in all competitions than PSG. PSG really seem to have underrated them which might’ve been the reason for they ended the match draw after having a 2 goal lead advantage in the first half. Brest performance have improved compared to when they started the season, they were inconsistent and lost some points but despite that they were still able to improve and occupy the 3rd position.

It’s a good thing for Brest and if they keep the performance consistent till the end of the season then thy will sure secure a spot in the next season Champions League.

I gambled on PSG to win i guess it was because they are playing at home but Brest surprised me and pull off aa comeback, i lost the bet but i was happy for Brest because of thee performance they displayed against PSG, they worked hard for it and was deserving.

PSG has also their bad moments regardless of how good Brest they are. Besides, Brest are interestingly holding the third place in the ranking before all of Monaco, Lille, Lens and Marseille. That reminds me of Girona in La Liga.
With that draw, PSG remained first but the points difference between them and Nice decreased to 6 points which is still reassuring for them.
By the way, 6 matches out of 9 ended up with a draw in this round, including mainly the top 7 teams apart from Nice.

No doubt Strasbourg is going to be the toughest opponent for them with they are having no defeat into last few games and their performance is also increasing which is plus point so how PSG will handle this all is also important with another match which is going to play between Brest vs Nice going to be interesting for the fans and spots at the top.

For those who bet on a PSG to win obviously, this draw remains a bad result for those who bet on a PSG to win in this match. Different cases if it only about a prediction that does not involve money then yes, this draw is certainly still a good result because yes, basically they only consider PSG's position in the standings and not about the personal bets they make. I can't even accept that result caused by i almost make it. it's a disaster performance from PSG. The club can't keep to play the football like that. It's terrible to watch. PSG was leading but it was also failing to get three points.
I would like to give PSG very low score for the performance of this game.

You are definitely right about Brest playing very well. Brest's playing style could even make a team like PSG with many superstar players to stop and while PSG fans were expecting to see PSG winning this match but they couldn't do that. Brest scored the second goal in the game to get one point from this match however this will not make a change in the French league for PSG and they are still in the first place of the league with a gap they have with Nice.

Brest played quite well in that match. Initially PSG was really the favorite. Especially after they were able to lead the match 2-0. I thought the score would be 3-0 or 4-0 at the end of the game. But my prediction was wrong. Brest was able to score 2 goals in the second half and PSG was unable to score additional goals so the score ended in a draw. For PSG, this result will not affect their ranking because they are still 6 points ahead. But this is a satisfying result for Brest because at least they were able to maintain third place and have hopes of playing in the Champions League next season.

Reports have it that Paris Saint Germaine management wants to sign AC Milan player Rafael Leao during the summer transfer window but they're still uncertain about the move because they aren't sure if the forward player Kylian Mbappe is going to leave the club at the end of the current season or not. Rafael Leao is one of the best players of AC Milan but the Portuguese have been limited by injuries that he's suffered lately but I believe that he's surely gonna come back to his best again.

Talking about the possibility of Kylian Mbappe staying at Paris Saint Germaine beyond the current season, I don't think it's ever gonna be possible because as we all know, the France national team captain is yet to sign a contract extension with the club and for him to do that, it simply means he's gonna leave the club at the end of the season. It's been reported severally on the media that Kylian Mbappe's next destination will be at Santiago Bernabeu the home of Spanish giants Real Madrid. Should Mbappe leave, signing Rafael Leao I think will be a very good move for PSG

The red card obtained by Barcola in the additional minutes of the second half did not affect the course of the match because PSG had won first with two goals. Brest played better entering the second half and they carried out a measured attack until it managed to equalize.
