I think their current standing is deceiving. They're not a poor team; they're simply struggling. Remember, they've been a prominent competitor, regularly in the top 10 and runners-up multiple times. Though this season may be tough, I wouldn't count them out. There is still a lot of the season left, and the point deficit with the clubs above them is manageable. Their next match versus Le Havre is critical. Lyon could surprise Le Havre, who is playing better. Playing wisely and earning critical points whenever possible is key. I think they can avoid relegation, but they need to improve immediately

Marseille vs Strasbourg

Just like i said before Marseille has been showing good progress recently and seems Gattuso has found his best strategy for this team and in Ligue 1 Marseille performance gradually better and they have been improved their position too at league standings and after break today Marseille will attempts to resumes their unbeated records in Ligue 1 but this is not easy because their opponent Strasbourg also in the good shape and Strasbourg recent records at Ligue 1 was slightly better than Marseille and from 9 latest matches in all competitions Strasbourg only get once lose so these records was proven today Marseille will facing hard match

Ligue 1 is still always dominated by PSG and I think if there is another team that is in good condition and is able to beat PSG then that could be very interesting.
Aren't we all waiting for something new to happen for Ligue 1?

It is quite easy for Lyon to return to the top 10 because the points difference with the clubs above is very close, but still Lyon's position is very unsafe because Lorient and Toulouse also have a very close gap to Lyon.
On this occasion, I am sure that Lyon will soon improve and we will see that at the weekend Lyon will face Le Havre and if Lyon is successful they can beat Le Havre. I am sure that Lyon will start to improve.

For now, the bookie is giving odds @ 3.70 on Lens for the match against PSG at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, Lens' home ground. while PSG with odds of 1.89. there is something a little strange for me referring to this bet, although the odds will change before the match is held.
Apart from that, I haven't received any information regarding this match. so, we can wait and research before this match is held. however, on paper PSG is far superior to Lens. even though this match will be held at home to Lens, it will not be easy for Haise's team to provide fierce resistance to PSG in the match. but at least, Lens was able to recover and is currently in 7th place in the standings. not that bad, considering this team doesn't have a squad that has the same depth as the French League giants. last season, Lens was able to compete closely, one of the reasons being that they didn't have a tight schedule. they only compete in Ligue 1 and the Copa de France. this season, Lens took part in the highest caste competition, namely the Champions League, although in the end they were eliminated in the group phase and dropped to the Europa League. even then, they have to go through the playoffs phase first. which means, this season Franck Haise's troops are really being tested. and yeah, as we know and have seen, Lens is unable to maintain its consistency and performance. for me it's normal, because this team doesn't have enough competitive depth.

On the PSG side, their progress in the Domestic League can be said to be on the right track. after several weeks of winning, PSG was finally stopped by Lille with their winning record because the match ended in a draw. however, PSG was still able to continue its winning streak in the following two matches. in the next 3 days, PSG will play an away match against Lens. for now, I won't speculate too far ahead of this match. moreover, Lens performance is currently starting to improve. of the last 5 matches they played, Lens lost the last match to Nice. and we'll see how these two teams meet. will Lens be able to hold a draw, it will be interesting for us to wait.

If you don't look at the development of League 1 over several seasons, most people might think that Lyon is a weak club, but actually they are not a weak club, they are just unlucky this season and it could be said that this is Lyon's worst season because they have to fight to secure their position so as not to be relegated, and I think Lyon can still secure a position in the middle of the standings because this season is still long and Lyon still has the opportunity to recover from their current downturn.

I think it's too far if you say Lyon can secure 3rd place so they can advance to the Champions League, they can just get out of the relegation zone which is a lucky thing for Lyon because they are fighting for that and I think their focus is not on the Champions League or league competitions. About team conditions for front lines Marseille will still rely on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and so far Aubameyang is Marseille top scorer with 13 goals in all competitions and for Strasbourg they will lost at least 4 players who got injured indeed this is unfavourable situation for them especially their striker Emanuel Emegha will be doubtful to play and for betting option although this is hard match but i think Marseille has slightly chance to beat Straabourg considering their home matches records was quite impressive recently but Marseille odds isn't high for this match @1.55

Currently, Lyon is ranked fifteenth in the standings and is already out of the relegation zone. And it could also be quite possible for Lyon to reach the top ten standings this season if Lyon can get more wins in the upcoming matches. Because if we look at the number of points that Lyon now has compared to those of rival teams that are above them in the top ten, Lyon is only three points behind Rennes, who currently occupies the top ten of Ligue1.

Gattuso has a positive contribution to the team. The team knows what he wants to do and shapes their game accordingly. Marseille have collected 13 points in their last 5 games and are in a good position in the league. I think they will continue their performance because they will play at home and they will use this advantage.

Marseille has not been defeated in a home match so Strasbourg has to be more aggressive if they want to beat their opponent but their chances of winning are not big in my opinion and just getting one point in an away match is certainly a good thing for Strasbourg because Marseille is currently in very good progress.

Lyon is at least out of the relegation zone, which is a blessing, they won three in a row that nobody really expected them to do, and that's why I think it's quite obvious that we are talking about a team that would have a good chance. I think it's clear that we are talking about a team that is in the history of Ligue 1 and they should be preserved as much as possible. That doesn't mean that they should not be relegated when they deserve, we all know that would happen, but cheering them to stay on is not a bad thing, I would prefer them staying.

Clermont looks like they are already gone, so nothing much to do there, Lorient seems like they may go too, so it's all Lyon vs Toulouse to me, and I think Lyon would be more suited.

Lyon are not so lucky this season perhaps this season is one of there challenging season so far because they use to perform very well in there previous seasons but there performance on this season is like a club that doesn't have a target or team work because I never believe they will be on the position they are now considering there performance on the previous season, well considering there stand on the table now they should avoid relegation.

Although they still have a chance to improve on there table because the two clubs that's currently above them on the table doesn't have much of a point difference with Lyon, so perhaps this is actually a chance for Lyon to secure some good record for themselves by removing themselves from the relegation zone but although there next match against Le Havre is really going to be a tough match for them because currently Let Havre performance is more better than Lyon and even on the table Le Havre has more better position than Lyon so I wonder what will become there faith on this match.
