For me there is nothing more special than those nine goals because they faced a much easier club. However, despite this, appreciation goes to PSG who were able to play more openly in that match and especially to Mbappe who was able to score three goals with his extraordinary skills. However, what you have to remember is that this is only against a weak team and PSG still has a big match in the Champions League so they have to try to evaluate every existing weakness.
Mbappe continues to be a main goal source of PSG and it is not surprising. In another story, he will also continue to be biggest problem of PSG when any transfer market window opens. His future is not certainly in Paris and his mind aims at Real Madrid, La Liga and Bernabeu. It will be magic if PSG can keep Mbappe in Paris after the next summer transfer.
I agree with what you said. No one had ever heard of Revel, except maybe the French. So it's not surprising if they were able to win that match. I think it would be surprising if they lost or won 1-0 against Revel. However, I still appreciate what PSG did because getting a big win means that PSG still has a squad that is strong enough to be able to dominate the league. I'm confused why they didn't field a second tier player against Revel?
Beating an unknown team, you have never known about Revel too, is not enough to prove PSG have a strong squad. They have a winning that is good for their start in 2024 but not enough to conclude that they are a strong team.
