Although Lille only has 7 wins and 7 draws during the first half of the season but yes, the fact is that Lille is in 5th place in the current Ligue 1 standings. Thus, I think the results that Lille has so far this season are fairly normal and not bad at all because after all, in the last season also Lille only finished in 5th place . So ya, for me the statistics that Lille has at this moment remain a good result because after all, at least Lille is not in the middle or bottom in the Ligue 1 standings. Therefore, playing at home against Lorient in the next match will still make Lille have a good chance of winning. They are actually a club with good competitive ability and in the last 10 seasons I have noted that they have never been out of the top 10 in the standings and are even better than that. they have even been runners up in the standings several times. However, this season is indeed a tough season for them, they are struggling to stay away from the relegation zone. In my opinion, this is a form of failure in maintaining their stability when entering the new season so that they have to be in a completely unfavorable situation.
I see complex problems within them this season, so it really affects their performance in the competition. But I think they will be able to get through this to at least avoid the threat of relegation which is right in front of them.

Lyon are not so lucky this season perhaps this season is one of there challenging season so far because they use to perform very well in there previous seasons but there performance on this season is like a club that doesn't have a target or team work because I never believe they will be on the position they are now considering there performance on the previous season, well considering there stand on the table now they should avoid relegation.

Although they still have a chance to improve on there table because the two clubs that's currently above them on the table doesn't have much of a point difference with Lyon, so perhaps this is actually a chance for Lyon to secure some good record for themselves by removing themselves from the relegation zone but although there next match against Le Havre is really going to be a tough match for them because currently Let Havre performance is more better than Lyon and even on the table Le Havre has more better position than Lyon so I wonder what will become there faith on this match.

Lille performance was far from stable this season because so far they only got 7 wins and 7 draw from 17 matches and this makes them lost plenty of points and at league standings Lille only can occupy 5th place with collect 28 points and after failed to win 3 consecutive matches in Ligue 1 this sunday Lille will attempts to collect 3 points at their home ground against Lorient and on the paper this should be easy match for Lille because we all know Lorient was very weak this season and so far they only collect 2 wins at Ligue 1

Last Saturday Lille has just gets big win 12-0 against FC Golden Lion on France Cup and their striker Jonathan David was made a hattrick so this result probably will restore their mentally and return to the winning ways and for Lorient i am not really sure what happend to this team because their performance was completely messed up and their defense also very poor because until week 17 Lorient have already conceded 35 goals and about the result of this match although Lille performance was not quite good but i think they have good chance to beat Lorient

If you don't look at the development of League 1 over several seasons, most people might think that Lyon is a weak club, but actually they are not a weak club, they are just unlucky this season and it could be said that this is Lyon's worst season because they have to fight to secure their position so as not to be relegated, and I think Lyon can still secure a position in the middle of the standings because this season is still long and Lyon still has the opportunity to recover from their current downturn.

I think it's too far if you say Lyon can secure 3rd place so they can advance to the Champions League, they can just get out of the relegation zone which is a lucky thing for Lyon because they are fighting for that and I think their focus is not on the Champions League or league competitions. Europe because their current focus is on improving their overall performance so as not to be relegated.
I hope that after good results in the last few matches, Lyon can continue their good performance so that they are not underestimated by other clubs.

Having much players didn't help them because at the time what they needed was much more than just these players been present in the team but then it's seemed at that point that the priority was placed on having the players with out much focus on the tactical force on the team, and other possible challenges the team may be having.

These players were jus too much and it seemed like there was conflict of personality amongst them because they were all big names and will all want to at some point show case their capacity on personal levels but sadly it wasn't helping the team because they had almost no proper communication amongst them on the pitch and Messi just left Barcelona for the first time and he was yet to adapt to football outside Spain so there were just too many factors to address if they were to win the UCL with that squad, and even till now they have still gat to work on the team spirit and cooperation amongst the players especially on the pitch.

Soon we are going to have Lens against PSG while we all know Lens is far from their good form and to be honest they can't have much chance to stand against a team like PSG anymore.
Lens are racing with PSG in the last season and they could even win the title in the last season but they lost the race. That's why I think betting on a team like Lens won't be reasonable even if you a big reward.

A player of Mbappe Calibre need to play in a more competitive football, not in a dominated league. Real Madrid suit him well in style of play and prestige. The romour of the move is there because of how people wnat to see a great talent to play in the highest stage. The financial aspects, including a lucrative salary, can certainly play a significant role in a player's decision-making process, especially at a young age. It's not uncommon for top players to weigh their options carefully, considering both the sporting prospects and the financial benefits.

PSG has been successful in retaining Mbappe's services so far. As the drama unfolds, football fans worldwide will undoubtedly continue to speculate on Mbappe's future. Lens is not doing all that great, I am not sure if it will be easy or simple enough for them to be able to get a win out of there or not, I am not saying that it would be impossible to handle, but it would not be all that simple neither, so we should be not expecting a Lens win, or even a draw there. I am not saying it's not possible, of course Lens could shock the world, but that would be unexpected, and if you are expecting it, then you are making a mistake.

PSG should in all seriousness win this one too, they are better than everyone else and they should be winning this game too, and I am not sure why would we expect it to change anytime soon, I feel like that's the most normal outcome of anything we have seen, totally normal situation.

Indeed, PSG is not the right team for Mbappe because yes, basically Mbappe deserves to play at Real Madrid because at Real Madrid certainly has a guarantee to get a lot of achievements and trophies . But even though Mbappe is always linked to leaving for Real Madrid, the reality is that nothing is really certain. Because after all, PSG who always try to keep Mbappe also always succeed because yes, at the same time the reality is that Mbappe also does not have a strong choice whether to stay or will really leave. This must be really worrying news for PSG as they can't do anything against it because of Real Madrid's being able to sign a contract with him directly. The only thing here is that it would cost Real Madrid and Mbappe quite much to bring him to the team in January already.

As a result if there is really a development like this between two sides then I'm really happy for Mbappe. Because I believe PSG is just not the right place for him to get bigger achievements such as the Champions League championship. 

PSG thought that expensive players could give them the Champions League but hopefully, they have learned the lesson that is why they had to let many of these players leave. They are now focused on buying cheaper and younger players. Keeping many superstars in a team will cause personality clashes that could even divide the players among various cartels led by each of these influential players. There was always disagreement between Mbappé and Neymar and this led to so much distraction.


PSG is the most successful team currently in the Ligue One because they have the biggest budget. Before now clubs like Monaco were outstanding but with a limited budget, they could not achieve more like PSG. Lens is not a mediocre club based on the present performance. They have lost just one game in five matches and can be difficult to win. Playing in their home ground Stade Bollaert-Delelis with the support of the fans can also be a plus for them. However, PSG remains the favorite to win the game but a loss will give Nice the hope of catching up on the defending champions.

Actually Lens started this season badly, they stayed for quite a long time in the relegation zone before they started getting positive results. They improved indeed but I could not call them strong since they still missing points in several competitions. In Ligue 1 they lost their last game by two goals against Nice. In French Cup they lost by penalties against Monaco and in Champions League, they got few points but they were able to move to Europa League at least.
I think PSG could win against them this week without a lot of problems if the players were fit. I know the beginning of the year is always tricky but seeing the 9 goals they scored in French Cup, I think they are ready to resume Ligue 1.
