We agree with what you said, if Luis Enrique had a squad like last season. plus, he also brought in several players, especially players for the team's needs. PSG will be much stronger in the hands of a competent coach, and has the potential to bring a strong team to win many trophies. but unfortunately, IMO, it seems like most PSG coaches don't have the capacity to bring in some of the players they want for the team's needs. I also suspect that Galtier doesn't have many choices in selecting the players recruited by PSG management. it would be very natural if Galtier had difficulty finding a suitable formula for his squad at that time, especially for PSG's midfield.

Now, PSG is handled by Enrique and the PSG mega project is no longer being continued. Messi left, Neymar left, and several other players left PSG. however, it seems that currently PSG is starting with a new philosophy. they prioritized several young players, and built an even stronger foundation under the guidance of Luie Enrique. talking about Enrique at the moment, I don't really know which players he has brought in since managing PSG. however, it seems that club management still prioritizes their interests and desires.  If, Enrique is given the freedom to bring in the players he really wants. at least PSG can perform much better, as well as in the Champions League. this season, it seems their target is only to win the Ligue 1 trophy and advance as best they can in the Champions League. for Ligue 1, I have no doubts about how PSG will defend the title for the umpteenth time. but for the Champions League, if PSG were able to advance to the last eight, that would be far more sufficient with the current squad.
You're right about PSG's situation under Luis Enrique. Enrique is a good tactician, but PSG's circumstance is unique. This is like restarting a race they led. Losing Messi and Neymar is big, and they're rebuilding with a younger team.

This transition to younger players is good but presents issues. Watching a superpower like PSG struggle is schadenfreude. Knowing their potential makes me resentful.

The Champions League is a difficult hill to climb this season. PSG may breeze through Ligue 1, but the Champions League is tough. Enrique may be great, but they're not there yet. Given these adjustments, making the last eight is a good showing.

In the long run it harms the league and then every once in a while, like maybe once in a decade or so, you can see that PSG has some struggles because they can't motivate themselves and have many legacy players who have won the title eight times, another club comes forward and has a remarkable run for a season and eventually wins the trophy once. Then that is the wake up call for PSG again and the cycle restarts. PSG is focused again and wins ten titles in a row.

Look at the German Bundesliga where Bayern Munich has won all Bundesliga titles for over a decade I think. The gap between them and the rest isn't quite as big as it is in Ligue 1, but still it is enough to dominate the league forever. It is boring for the people who love football and want competition in their domestic leagues.

There is nothing fun about seeing the same team win all the time even when it is the fans who are cheering for PSG.

that's what happens in Ligue 1. because each club owner may have a different investment for their club. and the gap with other clubs will be clear when PSG can gather Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar. I'm sure no club in Ligue 1 could do that in that situation.
PSG seems to have to make plans for some of the top players in the transfer market that they can get. They have dominated in Ligue 1, but they will be doubted when they are in European competitions like the Champions League. PSG may have a chance to progress from the last 16 of the Champions League, but they will not win it.
Money makes all the difference between one club and another, and that's what we see with Paris Saint Germain at the moment. No other club has the same financial situation as Paris Saint Germain, they can't even come close. Paris Saint Germain are the only club in Ligue 1 that is attractive to investors and sponsors and they don't have the same interest as other clubs in LIgue 1. I'm not sure about this, I mean can't they provide something that makes big sponsors interested in them?
So it's very natural for one club to dominate this league and it's true that it becomes boring because we see the equal competition that other clubs can do. If there were 1 or 2 clubs that had the same ability as Paris Saint Germain, I think this league would be a little bit more interesting.

This means that Ligue 1 must be more competitive in the future, the level of competition must be tighter, and not just one or two clubs can suppress PSG dominance. So that in the end PSG develops to be better and has bargaining value when playing in the UCL. I think the essence of this scenario will focus on finances, where the budget strength of PSG rival clubs must be comparable, or let's say close to PSG current finances.

I really agree with that competitive background, a very reasonable reason. If we look at other facts, PSG is ranked 4th as the club with the most expensive squad at the moment, but they are difficulty to even get through the group phase. But I'm still optimistic that they can win the UCL one day, Who knows, their luck will come in the next few seasons.

League 1 competition is not as competitive as other leagues, because the problem with League 1 teams at the moment is just a lack of investment from outside and a lack of finances to recruited quality players. Maybe if League 1 clubs had finances like PSG and had an even squad, of course PSG wouldn't always dominate the title is the same as other leagues, which every season gets a different champion, such as La Liga, Premier League and League Italian Serie A. So this makes this league a competitive league and the competition will be even more exciting.

Yes, this fact is true, PSG is the richest club in League 1, but their strength seems like an average club in other leagues, while PSG seems firmly in league 1. This is why PSG can compete easily in League 1, but when competing in the Champions League PSG feels pressure and difficulty and it is not uncommon for PSG to fail to qualify for the group stage.

It is nothing new that in the end PSG will not be able to win the Champions League and even though they have repeatedly filled their squad with star players, this cannot guarantee that they will be able to win it. Maybe for PSG being able to win every season in Ligue 1 is a certain thing and regardless of who the players are, they will definitely be able to do it without any problems.

Now if we talk about making a plan to find top players in the transfer market, it won't be easy because most talented young players prefer to join teams that have a big history or are in teams whose leagues are very competitive and PSG doesn't have any of that. They want to come here because the salary they get is so big and maybe they don't like challenges and that could also make their name fade.

Every coach definitely wants to select the best player because their careers depends on their selection of players who will be able to help them achieve that which they desire to achieve with their team and so ten hag selecting the best player is him doing just what's expected of him and nothing more.

One big challenge I think ten hag has got isn't with selecting these players but managing them well enough to turn out optimal and give the desired results the team expects of them but in recent times it appears ten hag lacks good management around his players and that's why they seem to under perform under his supervision, a typical example is with onana too, martial could possibly be a good player but I think where he presently is could be a possible reason his performance could be be poor but under the management of another coach who turns out compactable with him he may perform even better.
No coach is perfect, atleast we understand the circumstances here and most of us wouldn't stand out to disagree with the present condition of the club. An important player moving to Marseille from Manchester united is weigh of track because the Red Devils needs his services in the frontline, Martial is not in form now but when he comes in strong form, he does incredible works for the club. Erik Ten Hag have faulty connections as a manager, he barely relates with his players, and have issues with those set of players that have failed to recognized him as top coach. For instance he had issues with Cristiano Ronaldo, that resulted to pushing the Portugal international to exits Old Trafford, and now is Jadon Sancho, who's crystal clear that he's recalcitrant to the coach instructions and he failed to understand that he's replaceable.

It's the main job for Erik Ten Hag to selects the best players for his team. The fans will criticize the players who are not in good shape, that's normal for everyone else. The Manchester United frontline exiting Old Trafford doesn't seem to be true because there's a whole lot of these transfer news flying around, some are true while some are false. We don't just know what to believe anymore. Anthony Martial is a top frontline for Manchester United but he's not having any significant changes with his presence, instead he's getting worse but I think it's mere phase and it will pass.

Yes they can buy all of what you have mentioned. Players, coaches, facilities, marketing and whatever else a club could need to improve everything. But there is one thing they can't buy and this has been mentioned here before in the thread and that is competition. They can't buy high level competition and therefore they play below their maximum level most of the time and then when they have a game in the Champions League they suddenly need to play on a higher level. I think that is a huge disadvantage because imagine you are a marathon runner and you never compete with the best runners in the whole world for a whole year. You can check their times, that is different of course, but in general the idea is that the best runners push you to new maximum performance levels. That is what PSG doesn't have in Ligue 1.
There is no competition in Ligue 1 for PSG. They always dominate and if any other team wants to take over PSG's throne in Ligue 1, it will be tough competition.
If financially the French clubs can't keep up with PSG, then what happens every season will only be like this. PSG's dominance in Ligue 1 will be unmatched. and as you said, that will also be PSG's weakness when they have to be forced to play with other teams in Europe who are used to tough competition.
Ligue 1 must be like La Liga or EPL.

In the long run it harms the league and then every once in a while, like maybe once in a decade or so, you can see that PSG has some struggles because they can't motivate themselves and have many legacy players who have won the title eight times, another club comes forward and has a remarkable run for a season and eventually wins the trophy once. Recently Anthony Martial was linked to Marseille and there was a chance for this player to join Marseille during the winter but this team denied everything and they clearly said they are not going to buy Marseille from Manchester united
Marseille is mad about this news and since the performance of Anthony Martial was disappointing in Manchester United they don't want to have a player like Anthony Martial in their teams while he is not in the good form.

Manchester United condition is very bad and of course the performance of all the Manchester United players is not as striking as, Anthony Martial himself striker owned by Manchester United, but he failed to become reliable striker.
In the 13 matches he participated in for Manchester United, he was only able to provide 1 goal and for UCL, in 4 matches he was only able to provide 1 assist.
The English League itself has reached the 20th round and Anthony Martial only played in 13 matches for the UCL, but in the group phase there were 6 matches and he only played in 4 matches, from this it can be proven that Anthony Martial is not player that Ten Hag always relies on.
We also know that Ten Hag will prefer to sell his players if they cannot perform well and of course this will happen with Anthony Martial.
For Marseille itself, it seems unlikely that they will buy player like Anthony Martial because they are quite tough team and of course they will consider many things if they want to bring in player who clearly cannot show his prowess with the team he is defending.
Indeed, Marseille needs additional players for their front line so they can have sharp game in attack, but it doesn't seem like Anthony Martial.

Marseille can't be competitive for top 3 in the league so far unlike the previous season. They weren't able to stay in the title competition previously maybe but they at least earned the last Champions League ticket by finishing as third. This season the Ligue 1 has gained an extra spot for the Champions League group stage so being even fourth is enough to have a chance for the Champions League by qualifiers.
Marseille is still out from the top 5 at this moment and i expect this club to enter into the top 5 as soon as possible. Seeing the result from the last five games made me think that if marseille will able to qualify for UCL soon. as long as it can keep up with the current performance then the chance for marseille to enter into the top 5 is very big right now. Marseille is in the right track to win the UCL spot at the end of this season. It's caused by the club is performing really well and it keeps continue. Marseille is just gettng even closer to reach the top 5 at this time.
I expect marseille to take the fifth place at the end of this month. marseille is performing very well and i hope it keeps continue.

But Marseille's performance at the beginning of this season wasn't good at all. They newly started to maintain a solid form but we will see in the long run. The competition for the Champions League is likely to be really fierce this season.
Marseille is just getting better result this time. It is pleasing to note that the management has made a proactive decision to address the factors that were significantly impacting the club's performance. It seems changing the coach was quite effective to make marseille to perform even better.
I just noticed it now that if marseille got several won in a row which is unbelivable thing for me. I had the impression that Marseille would never improve and would continue to be at the bottom of the standings.

Luis Enrique is without doubt one of the best managers in Europe at the moment and that's why I was very surprised with his performance with Paris Saint Germaine in his first few weeks at the club. He didn't start the season on a very good note as the club lost few games and dropped points on games they were supposed to win outrightly. However, I think it was as a result of the fact that he didn't have full experience about the PSG.

Since he leant about the best tactical approach that brings out the best from the team, they've flourishing in the league as well as in Europe. Hopefully he's gonna win the UEFA champions league for the club probably not this season but in the nearest seasons
No one having any doubt about Luis Enrique as he is still one of the best in business, and he can bring good positive changes in PSG as well which will help them for having better results in coming years without good number of stars in their team as well but now here management also need to understand this all because they mostly fired coaches quickly which is surely not going to help them in any case for winning Champions League with they are having strong control into Ligue 1.

Now most chances Mbappé saga is going to end in coming days which is currently headache for all in this club and after setting this coach and team can do better things which will help them for having better performance and better results in all competitions hopefully, they will be able to have better and suitable replacement which will give them better performance without any serious problem.

Somehow Lion managed to finish above relegation zone but I think they will have the same attitude in 2nd half of the season where they will fight again in the lower part of the Ligue 1.

Meanwhile , PSG is locked to be champions this year and I think they will have more than 15 points in front of the 2nd place by the end of the season.
Lyon has not found a safe point in the standings list, position 15 with 16 points is still very vulnerable. The poor results that continued to be achieved in the 1nd half must be evaluated when the January transfer window opens, Lyon still deserves to stay in Ligue 1. This team was once Ligue 1 representative in the UCL and is always in the top four list, the January transfer market is a good opportunity for Lyon to strengthen the team. There must be changes in the second half in order to ensure that we can compete again in the French League competition next season.

Marseille was confused about this rumour because they have no plan to bought Anthony Martial this winter and indeed they will bought new players because some of their players will be absense to defend their national team for African Cup but Marseille was never want to bought Anthony Martial from Manchester United especially this player has high salary and Marseille doesn't dare to pay according to his current salary

Manchester United actually want to sell Anthony Martial because this player don't have good progress during defend Manchester United besides that his contract will be expired this summer so if Manchester United want fresh funds then they can sell him this january but not much teams who showing their interest to him because just like i said before  Anthony Martial salary is too high and regarding his rumour linked to Marseille i think it won't be happend

after reading the long article you wrote, I found several words that were a little doubtful whether Mbappe really refused to go to Real Madrid in january??
If it true, I would say congratulations to Mbappe for losing the opportunity to win the UCL title with another team and preferring to prioritize a big salary.

TBH, I dont know the contents of the pre contract offer with Mbappe and I dont know the amount of the offer given, but in my opinion, Mbappe stayed at PSG not to win something or a title, but he thought about a big salary and wanted to get a big salary before leaving PSG. let's look at the transfer market last season, when Madrid made an offer to Mbappe, it actually created drama with PSG, even though the drama was just to cover up that he didn't want to leave PSG because of the big salary.

I am a little sorry if Mbappe doesn't accept the offer, instead choosing to stay at PSG like a star player who isn't in the right team and I'm not sure whether in the next transfer market Real Madrid will want to make another offer because this is the last chance for Mbappe.
I dont know what this player is planning but it seems like he is too comfortable with all the facilities provided by PSG but is not guaranteed a bright future because he always fails to win prestigious titles in other competitions.
Mbappe rejected Real Madrid in January well I can’t say this is crazy especially as then man was young and needed that spotlight and the money too. Though his bad decision then is now haunting and probably that could be bye bye to his dreams of playing at the Bernabeu. PSG have the money and could offer him a sweet contract that’ll be mouth watering. But will the general team be composed to compete for titles to at least lay hands on the UCL because there league is a farmer’s league and they’ll keep succeeding there.

Mbappe too could have other plans in mind and probably a move to Anfield could also be on his radar and he could make it happen. Well let’s see what the January market holds for us football frenzies. However I still think the possibility of him moving to Madrid is not over yet and he could still get his chance by summer. Moreover moving to Madrid is more better then his present club nor a move to Liverpool.

The France international is believed to be one of the players that the Red Devils are open to selling in January, despite assurances from Erik ten Hag that the club is not looking to offload the forward. Martial has just six months left on his current contract and there seems to be little inclination from United to activate their option to extend his deal by an additional 12 months, which has led to speculation over a potential transfer to Marseille.
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/anthony-martial-marseille-ligue-1-club-frustrated-transfer-links-out-of-favour-man-utd-striker/blt7a469d737c747e2a#cs4d48ede3f5335ed9

It makes everything clear right now. It seems like that the situation kinda makes marseille feel so frustrated with manchester united. Martial has a very small chance to extend his contract in the  manchester united but no talk was coming from manchester united right now.
Martial's contract still around 6 months with manchester united. Im expecting him to leave from there rather than stay much longer. The possibility of Marseille buying him was ruled out, so what other alternatives should be considered?

Ten hag is not even interesting to put him into the starting line up. Martial is also very confusing with his future, he needs to work even harder to improve his performance.
Staying at the manchester united will be good for martial but consider his contract will end soon but no talk is coming from united makes me think martial is going to leave soon no matter what happened to him.
The main focus of martial to get a new team that was wnna buy him with sense price. Im sure that if many people are also concerning martial's price. The club that he currently plays for has no interest in purchasing him as a new striker, which is unfortunate because their manager, Ten Hag, is in desperate need of funds to strengthen the team and compete for a spot in the UEFA Champions League.

I would say that if Luis Enrique had got PSG's previous year's squad, he could have  brought PSG the Champions  League. PSG management had a lot of bad decisions. Over the past  few seasons, the Stars have brought in some of the  best players in the world in their  squad. Messi, Neymar and Mbappe were in their attack. But  their coach was not experienced enough. So  the coach could not help much to  strengthen the bonding between the players.

PSG should offer Luis Enrique  big funds in the winter transfer  window and give him the freedom to  build his squad as he wishes. PSG  should rely on Luis Enrique. Enrique  is one of the best coaches in the  world. He is experienced enough. He might be able to dominate the Champions League if he can form a squad with the players of his choice.

There is definitely no doubt about the winner of this season in France because so far all other teams couldn't have good performances in this league while the performance of PSG was awesome in the games we saw from this team.
As I said before about this league, I think if other teams want to race with PSG to win the title they should have the same or more investments in their teams to have better players and coaches.

Financial investments do play a big role in building a strong squad, eventhough it's not the sole determinant of a team's success, it becomes too clear to see the gap when fanancial gap is too big. PSG can have a series of unfortunate events, it seems wouldnt impact them with the squad depth they have.

We've witnessed Lille outperformed expectation and challenged PSG to win the league. But this can't always happen when they keep selling their best players, unlike PSG who keep buying good players. Investments in players and coaches are crucial, but effective team management, strategy, and cohesion are equally important. Teams with smaller can demonstrate that with the right approach, teamwork, and tactical acumen, but maintaing it will be the hardest challenge.

I think money matters most in league where there isn't a lot of money already. It wouldn't make the same difference for Manchester City to invest a billion now and become twice as valuable as they are and the second most valuable team in the Premier League is. Whereas the value gap in Ligue 1 is huge between PSG and then all the rest. That's where it makes a difference in the domestic league, but you can see how the advantage vanishes when PSG plays against other teams that are also financially strong and have some of the global superstars within their teams. Money can't do much then. PSG has tried when they bought Messi and Neymar in addition to also having Mbappe.
