Brest has been performing well this season when compared with last season. They only have 4 loses out of 17 game played in their league and presently standing at 4th on the table. They lose only to the top 6 team on the table league. This really shows their improved performances when compared to last season.

They are a hard working team that is doing awesome as of now. They had one weak phase and that was three games in a row against Lille, PSG and Monaco and they lost them all consecutively. That were two weeks where they had a down so to say, but other than that they have been surprisingly stable across all the games. I didn't see that they were doing so well in Ligue 1 as I didn't really follow them. Maybe they are a team to keep an eye on from now on.

Lorient have managed and tried to remain in top flight league since they got that promotion over 4 years ago. Yea they might be struggling at this point but it’s not much a big deal because they’re still an average club and not much is expected of them yet. They’ve got quite some crazy fixtures which much hopes aren’t there that they would be able to get important wins to get off relegation zone. Well let’s see how the teams builds up for the Second half of the season.

It’s not going to be an easy one for them this season but they’ll have to fight hard to pull through and with their feat of last season feel they can put up a good fight, atleast they've really tried in maintaining their stay in the Serie A, well let's see if they'll try get out of the relegation and continue to maintain their stay in the tournament.

PSG currently leads Ligue 1 2023-2024 after the first leg. In the last eight times they did this, they were all champions. Luis Enrique and his team will have two weeks off before meeting Toulouse in the French Super Cup match.

Already I knew that PSG will still dominate the league even when Nice was topping the league table, I saw it as temporary because teams like Nice most times starts well but doesn't finish well or they drop form along the line so I've always predicted PSG to top the league table because I've not seen any squad in the France Ligue 1 that can match up the kind of energy that PSG players possess.

I don't know if it is an advantage when the coach comes from the country that the opponent comes from. Times change and sometimes teams and strategies change within just a single year. The analysis has to be done anyway.

PSG must not underestimate Real Sociedad. They were able to perform quite well in the Group by ranking first and not experiencing defeat. In La Liga they also performed quite well even though they were only able to be in the top 10. PSG is too dominant in Ligue 1 this season and no other team is able to compete with them. I just hope people don't get bored with Ligue 1 because there are no worthy opponents for PSG. I think NICE can be a contender this season but with 2 defeats in the last 5 matches I think NICE have to find a way for them to continue to be consistent in their game.

The most important fact for them was that they now gained back their confidence and saw they can win games. They can not only win one game, but three games in a row. That is what they needed to understand that they don't belong into the relegation zone. It took them quite some time to finally break out of that negative cycle they were trapped in.

PSG are Champs in the Ligue One but they can't comprehend the pressure in major tournaments due to their inconsistent performance in matches and this is incurred poor performance from the players and making Luis Enrique looks incompetent of managing the club. PSG must not underestimate Real Sociedad. They were able to perform quite well in the Group by ranking first and not experiencing defeat. In La Liga they also performed quite well even though they were only able to be in the top 10. PSG is too dominant in Ligue 1 this season and no other team is able to compete with them. I just hope people don't get bored with Ligue 1 because there are no worthy opponents for PSG. I think NICE can be a contender this season but with 2 defeats in the last 5 matches I think NICE have to find a way for them to continue to be consistent in their game.

Another win by Lyon, wow! Especially that win over Monaco was really surprising to me as their opponent wasn't playing with 10 players either. Now they have made their winning streak three games thanks to another win over Nantes home. Lyon played really impressively from the beginning to the end honestly. They were really effective with their goal attempts so they deserved it.

These consecutive wins have helped them get out of the relegation zone so far. But to maintain this they need to continue to work hard just like this. But while they are on fire I expect the players to perform really motivatedly to move on solidly.

There is still a chance to recover, because we see that there is still a lot of match left, but I think they will have difficulty in their efforts.

Lyon consistently recovered by winning 3 consecutive wins, after previously being at the bottom of the standings. While the top standings still belong to PSG, I think Mbappe and colleagues will be champions again this season, no team can seriously pressure them in the hunt for the Ligue 1 trophy.
