Real Sociedad are the group winners, and that proves that they cannot be underestimated by Paris Saint Germain. The odds are in Paris Saint Germain's favor, I want to see how they can capitalize on this momentum.

I'm not really surprised to see the results that Lorient is currently getting, because they were only able to get pretty good results last season, I consider it luck and coincidence.

Look at their results in previous seasons, in the 2021/22 and 2020/21 seasons they were only able to finish in 16th position. That's not surprising to me because they're a team that came from Ligue 2 promotion. And about Lyon, we don't know what happens next, maybe now they can escape the relegation zone, but when the league restarts, it will be a new challenge for them.

Well, they do look like as good as any team that could be at that position, it's not really a shock to me. In a league where things are not always cared for, it's always a confusing thing. Look at Lyon, did anyone expected them to be there? They are now barely out thanks to a three win streak, but that makes them barely out and not really at ease, after 3 wins in a row, they were literally at the bottom of the table. Did anyone expected lyon to be bad? Of course not, nobody would have guessed that lyon would be that bad, but they are, so if Lyon could be, Lorient could very well be as well.

It's just that Ligue 1 is becoming way too much "psg and others" which means other teams are not doing well and every year they are doing worse and worse, and we do not know which one will get more worse than others can get. This means that sometimes teams like Lorient will do much worse than expected, it's just how it is and how it will move on with the world if the league doesn't recover.

That may maybe a little bit unbelievable to see Lorient in the danger zone of the French League but the fact about Lorient in this season is about the weak result they even got before this match.
If you check the past results for Lorient you can clearly see in the last five matches they recently had, they lost four games and they had only one draw which means they are far from hey situation in which they can even stay in the French League 1.
However, there are still many games they should play before the end of this season and they can have a good chance to get in the better form.

The positive way to see things is the limited gap between the latest teams in the ranking. The other way is the number of top teams that will follow in January or February which contains good teams like Lille and Metz

Nice is a contender for the Ligue One title but that doesn't portrayed any threat, they're just enlisted as any othe random mediocre club in Ligue One this season. It's almost the end of the year and there's strong probability of these clubs keeping to stellar performance. There's no club that can stand in the same ring to challenge Paris Saint Germain for the league title this season. It's really tough for these clubs to stand out to face energy with PSG who's on fire this season. Luis Enrique always makes sure he's team doesn't hold back when they face average clubs and they always make good use of their chance.

What they lack is an atacking line that can't score goals, I'm sure if they had a sharp attacking line then they would be above Paris Sant Germain, or at least not as far apart as they are now. They are very strong in defense, but that doesn't mean anything when they don't score goals. So far their defense is the most solid and they have only conceded 9 goals, which is a very good record. But when we look at their attack we will really find their weakness this season. When they lose or get a draw, the truth is that their game is not problematic, it's just that they can't create goals, that's all. They have to make improvements in the attacking line.

Even though last season I always liked betting on Lorient's win and was always able to make a profit, it's just that this season hasn't gone as well and I'm starting to hesitate to bet on their win. This cannot be separated from their consistency which has decreased so much and I have no more hope for Lorient to finish in a better position like last season. Just being able to escape the relegation zone is already their best achievement this season and at least there is still quite a long time for it to be realized this season.

Of course, they must not hope for miracles and they must have full confidence in improving their work ethic in the remaining matches and getting the victory they desire again. Defense will be the main focus for improvement and their attack must also be improved again because after all they have to be more superior when facing their opponents so that victory can be guaranteed and the rest is just strengthening the defense again.

There is nothing that can be expected from Lorient with their strength this season, especially since Lorient does not have players they can rely on. Laurent's attackers don't seem to have the enthusiasm to appear impressive and Laurient defense line is the worst among other teams so they conceded a lot, namely 35 conceded. goal and it was quite painful.

Moreover, Nice is not that consistent so PSG is not too worried because PSG will be able to prepare for matches in League 1 and in the Champions League maturely. Luis Enrique has experience in facing a situation like this and what is certain is that PSG will not feel pressured by the large schedule because in the previous season PSG felt the same way and in the end PSG was still able to win the title in League 1.

Yes, it's true, I'm sure PSG is still not ready to advance to the next round, even if they win against Sociedad they will meet very tough opponents, Mbappe and PSG will not succeed in getting to the UCL final, let alone winning the UCL title, there is a lot that needs to be addressed and improved in the squad. Nice, Monaco and several teams that are below PSG will certainly find it increasingly difficult to compete with PSG on points even though Nice and Monaco looked very strong at the start of the season but maintaining consistency is not an easy task and now it has been proven that PSG is one of the teams in the league 1 who has very strong consistency and can take back the top of the standings and from now on there is already a difference of 5 points and as time goes by PSG points will continue to increase and the teams below it will have increasingly difficulty catching the top of the standings.

In fact, the points difference between them and the teams above them is very small. Even if they can only win 1-2 matches, the team will be in a much better place. But unfortunately they can't start winning those matches.
