The PSG problem did not start today, I already knew that the club will run into problems when the season starts. During the time of pre-season that is the period all the football clubs used to amend their mistakes and go to pre-season tour in order to train their players in one way or the other. when it was time for PSG to use their pre season to get good result they were busy having cases with Mbappe and the media.

This is absolutely affecting their performance this season. This is not the PSG that everyone used to know in the France League. I am hopeful that things will turn around but if care is not taken they might lose their number one spot which almost sounds like a birth right to them.

That was a horrible start for PSG. Only 3 wins after 7 rounds, 3 draws and a loss. They missed 2 points today vs Clermont Foot and weren't able to score a goal. A team that spend a lot of money for its players and bring known coach to see its results like that should think twice about what's going on and try to fix that. Staying second in Ligue 1 for the moment was related to the mistakes done by its direct rivals like Marseille and Monaco. Brest could take a good lead if the score remain 2 - 2 between these two teams.

But it will be enough for them anyway because they don't have a team in the league that wins it all. PSG can still be really calm. Monaco is giving away important points all the time, too. And PSG's offense is once again very good on paper, but they can't make full use of their potential. For Clermont holding PSG to a draw was a success, for PSG I think they wasted a very good opportunity. Failure to get full points hampered their progress towards taking top position in the standings, PSG only weakness in the match was finishing on all opportunities, and it's true that Clermont defense is quite good to withstand PSG attacks. Dembele has not been able to score for PSG during his move from Barcelona, despite having played in seven games.

Clermont succeeded in adding just one point on the table, clinching them to be ranked 17th on the table, they're not safe because the team is still in the relegation zone, absolutely nothing they would do against the Parisians other than fought for shared points. It was totally dissapointing results from the elite club, Luis Enrique will make amends for the clueless draw against Clermont. Perhaps Clermont boss, Pascal Gastien was a little bit satisfied with his team, the goal keeper, Mory Diaw made clear 10 saves against Paris Saint-Germain which was unbelievable, he's MOTM for this brilliant saves.

Now we are in injury time with score is still 0 - 0 and very poor performance from the one of the legit and richest club in UEFA which fail to score any goal against Clermont which is currently second-worst team in Ligue 1 with having 17th spot and concede 12 goals from 6 games and not able to win any game with this situation look like we are not going to have anything positive from PSG in this season and most chances they will lose their star player Mbappé which will create another downfall for them.

Luis Enrique is going good but currently players chemistry is not allowing him to have required results but if management give him time and also have clear stance about Mbappé future then we can expect good results in long run.

That's not good at all when we see a team like PSG with a huge amount of investment can't score a goal against Clermont. While they have players like Mbappe and Dembele playing for this team.

Yeah you are right about that. Mbappe was able to play for only 32 minutes so I wouldn't like to go harsh on him of course. But Mbappe must also be happy with seeing his team still staying productive even in his absence. Because at the beginning of the season they struggled too much without him.

When it comes to the game against Newcastle I can also say that it will be way more difficult. Newcastle aren't playing like at the beginning anymore. They have looked much stronger in their recent games. Maybe their performance against Milan was poor but I expect to see progress this time.
