Honestly Lens lost some good players, and hoping some of the players they got gets adjustment, even if you get a better player there is an adjustment period, and some good ones left so it may take some time. Lyon is even in worse situation, they have sold players worth of 100+ million euro total, and got 20 million worth of players. That means there is a near 90 million euro difference between the players they sold and they got. That causes any team to be a lot worse without a doubt.

Of course they would have been worse, sure they got some players too, but nobody that is gamechanger. So that is why I believe that it is going to be something that would be tough for them and shouldn't be a shock to see them at the bottom.

Yes indeed, it is also unfortunate for Lens, because in this season Lens also has to play in the Champion League. Therefore, at this moment Lens is experiencing a very difficult situation and conditions and again, Ligue 1 teams will not succeed in the Champions League and that is a bad result too. But yes, maybe Lens will put that aside because after all, improving their position in the Ligue 1 standings is the main thing. Because if not, then Lens and Lyon will struggle in the relegation zone throughout this season.

When you sell a good player for a high price, you have to replace him. If you cannot fill the position played by the player you sold, you should make good transfers in other positions. In this way, the quality of the team is maintained. If you do not do this, the team will not be able to regain its former strength and will fail. I think that's exactly what they're going through right now.

They could get 1 point in 4 matches. Both teams conceded 10 goals in 4 matches. Hard days await Lens and Lyon.

Regarding Lyon this season, they had a disappointing performance so far and they lost many points, We know Lyon was racing at the top of the table in last season but right now they are in the danger zone and had a poor performance, especially in the game against PSG when they lost the game with 4-1 result.
Laurent Blanc is under pressure but he has not been fired yet, however, Lyon thinking about Gennaro Gattuso who was working at Valencia.

I can't find any reason for such sudden degradation of Lens. This team has performed well in the last season as well. We have seen excellent performances from Lens in almost every match. And at the end of the season, Lens' points gap with PSG was only 1 point. And so this season too, it was expected that Lens would dominate Ligue 1 this season too and fight for the title with PSG. But their performance in the first three matches was very poor. Bonding between players is also very weak. And their match strategy is not good either. The players are not confident enough. The coach should try to boost the confidence of the players. If not, we will not see a good performance from the team this season.

Apparently, they have returned to their previous performance. Last season, Lens had a very impressive record and was even able to beat the position of two big teams, namely Marseille and Monaco. However, this season, it seems like they are running out of gas to continue the positive trend like in the 2022/2023 season. There are several factors, the departure of several of their mainstay players affected the team's overall performance this season. Last season, Lois Openda was one of the players who performed brilliantly with 21 goals while defending Lens. Now, he has left and is playing with a Bundesliga club. Some of the new arrivals may not be able to adapt to the system implemented by Franck Haise. and as we can see, they are in 17th position with only 1 point from the five matches they have played so far.

BTW, I'm not sure if Franck Haise can lift his team's motivation to return to their previous performance. After Ligue 1 returns, Lens will host Metz at their own Stade Bollaert-Delelis. victory is a result they must obtain, this is important to raise motivation and confidence in the team coached by Franck Haise's squad. Unfortunately, there are several Lens players who have to be absent due to injury. Also, the goalkeeper's performance was really bad in his 4 matches, conceding 10 goals. After this match, Lens will visit Sevilla's headquarters. I doubt they will achieve positive results in the next two matches. but to be sure, let's just wait.

Last season at the beginning of France league Lens was able to gets 9 matches unbeatable and they are very strong at their home ground because until end of season Lens has unbeatable status at home even these records is more good than PSG at that time but with their current situations i am so doubt Lens will be able reach to his achievement just like last season again because until week 4 they are one of strong team who unable to gets the winning results and it was never cross in my mind before because i have to see their position currently at 17th place

Lens have done poor transfer this season because they have already sell their some of key players and they were attempts to buy new players to covered the position from those who leave this team but apparently it was bad decision because Lens new players performance currently were far from the expectation and they have hard task to bounce back and it wouldn't be easy especially Lens have to divided their focus by playing at champion league
I don't know what's wrong with the team because they've been less impressive this season and i doubt too if they'll make the top ten this season, Lens qualified for the Champions League but couldn't make better recuitment but instead decided to sell their star players of last season and it's affecting them so bad currently and if they fail to win their next match they'll remain at the buttom of the league.
I feel so sorry for them because their champions league performance could be affected by their poor form, and i feel more pity for their manager because his job is at stake, the group they're in is not a very tough one though and if they could recover the form they had last season then they'll stand a chance of qualifying into the next round, the only major threat they would've face is Arsenal but with the current form every team in the group is a threat to them.

A team like Lens has a different situation than other teams like PSG. because PSG has a rich and famous owner to feed this team and invest money there but in teams like Lens they have to try to earn money themselves, in fact, Lens had to sell more paly to earn money from these players because they knew that can't do anything in The Champions League and the only hope is just French League.

I think it's still early in the season so there's still a lot of time that Lens can use as best as possible to improve their quality in Ligue 1. It's a bit surprising because last season Lens position was runner up. but this season Lens is at the bottom of the standings because of several defeats  what they experienced. I think there is one thing that makes their game quite bad, especially because of the influence the players have had in the previous season and in this season.

In fact, Lens was so easily beaten by their opponents that this was a quite significant reversal for their performance. Lens defense is quite bad because they have conceded 10 goals in the first 4 matches this season. I think they have to return to their best form in the next match when Lens faces Metz in front of his supporters.

Lens had a good performance in the last season and they had a close race with PSG for first place in the table This made them to get the ticket for the Champions League this season but we can't expect a lot from the French team. Lens lost some players in this summer after we saw good performances from these players in the past surely losing these palyer and affect the team. On the other hand, because of not having a competitive league in France usually the French teams are not successful in the Champions League.

PSG's performance was not very good after having star players like messi, neymar and mbappe in the squad . Their performance in the champions league was erratic. They don't play well consistently. Also they had no experienced coach . We did not get better performance than PSG due to poor understanding between players and poor match strategy. However  this season PSG management has appointed an experienced coach like Luis Enrique. Even without Messi and Neymar in the squad, Luis Enrique is a very experienced coach. His match strategy is also very good. If he can improve the chemistry between the players then PSG's performance will be stronger and more consistent
Last season, many of their players did not get along with each other, triggering a reaction that wanted to show their individual qualities in every match. Well, this season Mbappe is the spearhead of PSG and if he fails to have a big impact on PSG progress in the Champions League then PSG will not feel a big loss if Mbappe leaves in the transfer window next season.

Mbappe must prove his best quality in the Champions League this season because PSG management wants to see PSG succeed in winning the UCL trophy as their main target. It is hoped that several new players recruited, such as Dembele, will work well together to achieve their targets in the Champions League this season.

PSG appointed Luis Enrique as their club manager but too late. If Luis Enrique had been appointed when PSG had all kinds of stars, Luis Enrique might have created a better relationship between all the players as well as overcome the weakness they had in midfield. Luis Enrique took over as manager but late as key players including Messi-Neymar Ramos had already left PSG. Taking charge of PSG is certainly a big challenge for Luis Enrique. PSG have spent a lot of money on the back of their club but so far they have not won the Champions League trophy. PSG is dreaming of the Champions League through Luis Enrique. If Luis Enrique can lead this club to the Champions League title then it will be a huge success for Luis Enrique.
It's never too late, it's still possible for PSG to develop into an even stronger team even though Neymar, Messi and Ramos are no longer there, even if Luiz Enrique had been at this club earlier the results could still be the same because it's not easy to immediately build a cohesiveness. when the players were still very new to the club and they didn't last long at PSG.
Luiz Enrique being at PSG when these stars have left the club will actually make it easier for him to build this club better, with his experience it will enable PSG to perform better in Europe because the players in his current team are his choice, and the material is better because there are no more important players who often damage team cohesion.
But of course everything takes time, and whether the PSG owners have the patience to see the club being coached by Enrique to become better, that will be very decisive, otherwise they will just change the coaching team again because they think the current coach doesn't have that ability.

I think this year's group of death is the group PSG is in. There are them in group F, but depending on their performance this year, they can get any result and they can be first or fourth. It is a very difficult group for the Champions League because the strengths of all teams are almost equal. This year, PSG needs to prepare better for UCL.
Given the state of the group of strong clubs, what you say is possible but they are still strong candidates to qualify now compared to some of the other clubs.
But in this case they will have to work harder because of Milan, Dortmund and Newcastle. They are not clubs that can be underestimated.
With the improved condition of the attacking line after Mbappe returned to the squad this could provide a positive thing for PSG because now they can apply the new trio of Mbappe, Asensio and Dembele in attack but on the other hand Enrique's work is still a lot at this time because even though the attacking line has improved but the effectiveness of their attacks is still quite weak and goal conversion.
We all know how Paris SG's performance in League 1 is even without players like Neymar and even Messi. Paris SG is still able to appear attractive in every match and for its appearance in the Champions League it will be very difficult for Paris SG to qualify for the final round and Paris SG also doesn't have experience in winning titles in the champions league so it is very difficult for Paris SG to penetrate the final round even though I have Kylian Mbappe, I don't think it will make a difference because the champions league will always be controlled by experienced clubs above Paris SG.

It happened only because there was Mbappe in their squad because if we look at the beginning of the season where PSG and Mbappe's drama was heating up and Mbappe was not played PSG was really bad at finishing and this fact cannot be eliminated because Mbappe's role is still very strong at PSG.
But this condition cannot all go well because PSG cannot always rely on Mbappe because this condition will be the same as Madrid in La Liga a few seasons earlier where they always relied on Benzema and when Benzema was not there his performance dropped dramatically and so is what is happening to PSG now.

If Mbappe is eventually shut down then this is a bit difficult for them. It's not that players like Asensio and Dembele are bad but they lose their attacking direction without Mbappe for now.

Not your keys, not your coins!
I think if we look at the changes that have occurred in the PSG squad this season, of course they have experienced quite a big change in their strength because the departure of several star players has made them experience real difficulties at the start of this season. Messi and Neymar were quite influential in the previous season with PSG but they also failed to bring PSG to become champions in the Champions League.
They had influence in small and unimportant matches but in most important matches of season in Champions League, they did not create influence or miss those matches by injury. Mbappe played those matches but he did not make anything difference than Messi or Neymar and PSG were beaten too early in Champions League. It is very disappointed for PSG as they really wanted to have another final match after hiring Messi and Ramos, expanding the contract with Mbappe.

Quote
Moreover, this season PSG is only relying on Mbappe, where we have seen that for several seasons playing at PSG, Mbappe was unable to present the UCL trophy for PSG. Yes, other teams are stronger, such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City, so PSG will find it difficult to beat them if PSG meets a big team in the next round. But for now, let's see if PSG can get through the group stage.
This season, will Mbappe be strong enough to lead PSG to a Champions League trophy?

He is ambitious and want to be a leader, a brightest star player in PSG but will he be able to do this huge task? In France, his national team, he relies on his team mates for key passes, assists to have good opportunities, then scoring goals. This season will be key to assess Mbappe but I believe he will fail to lead PSG to Champions League trophy. When PSG only have Mbappe as a super star player in their attacking front line, he will be more easily controlled by opponents.

I think a team that has let go of its star in the transfer window will not think about it again because if they don't move on it will have a negative impact on their performance this season. For now, PSG is only thinking about players who are on the same team as their team and players who are no longer on the team of for course why are they thinking anymore. PSG have struggled quite well to improve their quality in this transfer window and they have succeeded in doing so. For now, Luis Enrique is ready with his perfect squad to compete in Ligue 1 and the Champions League to achieve their targets. On the one hand, the PSG squad is very strong in Ligue 1 so there is not the slightest obstacle for them due to the departure of Messi or Neymar.
The departure of Messi and Neymar and clarity with Mbappe, on the contrary, can strengthen the power of the team and finally build the team chemistry that will finally allow Paris Saint-Germain to become the club that can claim the title of the winner of the Champions League.
It's too good to be true. Im seeing that if PSG's era when neymar and messi were still there was even stronger compared with the current squad. don't put big expectation caused by PSG can make you feel disappointed anytime.
Competing in UCL is not the same as competing in the league 1. There are so many strongest club like real madrid which have been owning most of UCL trophies.
I think that going to the play off is a great achievement for PSG. I never think if mbappe is a key for PSG to win UCL. How many times mbappe played in UCL but it kepts failed? We have not yet seen the chemistry from the club.
Everything can change anytime.

It seems like you have forgotten that PSG is one of the big teams that is unstable in making decisions and even though there has been an opportunity to recruit Enrique since last year, it will not go smoothly because Enrique is currently focused on managing Spain in the world cup. Even so, PSG prefers a coach who does not have much experience outside of domestic competitions, such as Galtier, who is only considered because he led Nice to achieve good results over the previous few seasons and led Lille to become Ligue 1 champions in the 20/21 season. So everything has happened and it seems like what PSG's next steps will be if Enrique can't meet their targets, especially for the Champions League competition.

A lot already depends on the figure of the head coach in the person of Luis Enrique, whether he will be able to build the right game and chemistry in the team. But still, it may take some time and affect the game of teams not only in the Champions League, but also in domestic tournaments, not for the better. The most important thing is that the club management has enough patience, and not as it was before.
Enrique is actually needs more time to make it happen. Building PSG was not the same as managing barcelona which has been owned their chemistry. Enrique needs to give more motivation to the new club.
The performance of new players is far from good. The Goncalo ramos can still do nothing. There are various scenarios that could result in PSG being eliminated from the UCL during the play off stage.

This club has never won europa league as well.

Club management and PSG fans should not ask too much of Luis Enrique in his first season working with PSG. He needs to build a squad that is able to build good chemistry between players, he also still needs several quality players in various positions. Luis Enrique is still in the stage of adapting to the PSG atmosphere, he also inherited the squad left by Galtier.

He will try to form his own version of PSG with players who are able to understand the philosophy he advocates. The departure of Messi and Neymar has slightly reduced PSG attack power, Dembele and Asensio, who have been entrusted to fill the main line-up to replace Messi and Neymar, must perform well to be the ideal partner for Mbappe. It took time for Luis Enrique to make PSG the favorite team in the UCL, this season I doubt he can give something to PSG that has never been obtained so far.

You're on point though, judging from the fact that Enrique is experienced and has managed several top class players in the past and would had handled the situation better than their previous manager who couldn't lead the squad he had to victory in the Champions League, but it's not too late because this season he was backed with funds to recruit the players he could work with and he's got a handful of younger talents and the help of a Mbappe maybe they could do better than the previous season.
So far in the league they're very impressive and have started well this season, and i love how his players are able to communicate with themselves on the pitch and create good result, the luck they had is that they didn't let Mbappe leave this summer because he's been very impressive and getting the goals for them so far.
logically we cannot compare the new coach Enrique with the previous coach Galtier, both coaches have a history of coaching several teams with their respective successes but unfortunately both of them have no experience in the UCL or other big competitions so if we say Enrique could have the opportunity to Bringing PSG just because Mbappe is still the goal scorer for PSG is just PSG big morning dream, whereas we can see the reality of PSG fate when they still have 3 reliable players in their team but also fail to break the record in the UCL.

this is not only about coaches and players but also about the feasibility getting a title in the UCL which may be too early for PSG or if not PSG officials can try to find a way to replace a coach with experience who often brings the team to the champions league title and we will see if PSG will also fail or succeed in winning the UCL trophy.

It's also big challenge for all coaches to take a job in PSG because they are very rich, don't hesitate to sack a coach if they feel bad with results from that coach. About Neymar, Messi and Ramos, I don't think Enrique can do anything even if he comes sooner. Those star players already in plans of PSG to sell like Neymar is already for sales recent years after Mbappe no longer wanted to see Neymar in PSG. Messi and Ramos are old and did not create much good contributions for PSG with their two seasons for them so their departures are not surprise at all.

I agree that PSG would appoint Enrique as their coach sooner but it already happened and at least he had a few weeks with PSG before a season start.

PSG have spent a lot of money on the back of their club but so far they have not won the Champions League trophy. PSG is dreaming of the Champions League through Luis Enrique. If Luis Enrique can lead this club to the Champions League title then it will be a huge success for Luis Enrique.
They are changing by buying less famous players but aiming at players who can sacrifice their ego to contribute for a team and to win as a team. So far they did not perform well but the season is long and they can have good improvement in coming months.
