The fight between Mbappe and PSG is not over yet and even in the other hand after Dembele join PSG it seems there was a fight between him and Xavi because in the interview he had in Paris, he said Enrique is a catch who knows his job better and maybe he wanted to note that Xavi is not professional enough to use players like him and that's why he couldn't get too much chance in Barcelona when he was playing there.

Was wondering how the PSG team would be like without Mbappe starting or not playing for the team again.
The team's goal stats have fallen drastically, but only if PSG don't have another striker who is qualified and has good finishing. But I don't see that there so far especially after their first match which ended goalless. Everyone failed to score against Lorient although some of them had good chances to break the deadlock.This season they are without Messi and now Mbappe, is really going to be worrisome because I don't see anybody to fit in those positions of Messi and Mbappe, even if the have, they can't play like those two. With Neymar Jr in the team with him always on the injury list I don't see this team doing well at all, they can do well in the league but outside this France ligue 1 it would be hard, and now they can't score a goal against Lorient, this game might even end in a draw.
I wouldn't be surprised if in the end PSG failed to win any titles this season if they didn't have great strikers and wingers. PSG have signed Dembele from Barcelona and maybe that would be a great addition following Messi's departure, but Luis Enrique has basically been left bewildered by his pick of the best line-up of the season.Neymar is also rumored to leave PSG in the near future, it will add a lot of work for Enrique to find the right players in his main line-up. Asensio has not performed optimally, as have several newcomers this season.

There was an attacking trio of Lee Kang-in, Ramos and Asensio on the pitch today. It felt really different to see none of the previous trio to me. Even Mbappe wasn't part of this game which must be due to his recent situation with leaving or staying this summer. We don't even know how long he will be left out like this.
PSG completely dominated the game statistically maybe but even this huge dominance wasn't any help to score a goal. They had really nothing to do to prevent a 0-0 draw at the end.

There is a PSG - Lorient game today and I'm quite curious about it. Because Mbappe isn't expected to play and the reason is being inactive. Will PSG really leave him out of squad? Or it is just until his situation gets clear until the end of this transfer window maybe. Neymar is also not expected to play as he will be leaving this summer.
Therefore PSG are going to play with a completely new trio in the attacking line which will be quite interesting to watch. Because it has been a long time since we didn't see any of players like Mbappe, Messi and Neymar on the pitch at the same time.
If this keeps up and Mbappe doesn't get to play for like another 10 or so games at the start, even if he doesn't play for 5 games, I am guessing that some things will change. The transfer window is closed, so it is not like they can sell him after a while, it is still open right now but after 5-10 games it will not be open. So what will they do? Ronaldo was able to move after a long period because he was bought out, and then went to another team, Mbappe doesn't have that chance because PSG will want "some" money when they sell him.Therefore PSG are going to play with a completely new trio in the attacking line which will be quite interesting to watch. It seems like the biggest problem for them right now is Mbappé. The player who was supposed to be the biggest asset for them has turned out to be the biggest problem for them right now. Now if they play him, they are risking losing him for free in the next season. They are trying to sell him but Mbappé has told PSG that he wants to play this season. So a very interesting situation going on right now.
And I can tell you for a fact that PSG do not want "some" money for him. They definitely want at least 150 million.

Aubameyang wasn't given a chance in the starting eleven today by Marcelino. Maybe the reason why is his performance against Panathinaikos. Because he wasn't able to do anything in the whole game just as the rest of the team. Marcelino preferred 4-4-2 instead of 4-2-3-1 which he used against Panathinaikos.
This really worked well Marseille as they won by 2-1. Aubameyang entered the game in the last 30-minute part of it but couldn't make any impact by a goal or assist. Marcelino preferred a Vitinha - Ndiaye duo on the front and both of them contributed really well by a goal and assist.

UCL is very far away from PSG at this moment. PSG needs to make sure if the club will able to perform better but enrique is still confusing due to the problem with mbappe. Im not sure whether goncalo ramos gonna play in the first game against lorient.

Yes, it is unfortunate, PSG has good finances but PSG still fails to have a great team that can dominate the Champion League. Because anyway, even without Mbappe at least PSG will still be fine in Ligue 1 but the mistake of PSG is, giving Mbappe an expensive salary with all the privileges given. I also predict PSG this season is the worst. Actually there are a number of things that PSG must do so that something like this doesn't happen, one of which is that the club president shouldn't get too involved in the needs of players and managers, besides that in Europe where football club managers regulate the purchase of players by club presidents? the existing management needs to support the trainers.Evidently, PSG two seasons earlier were still able to win a trophy when there was still the MNM trio. Honestly watching PSG with Mbappe, Neymar and Messi will be interesting, but even without this big players I'm still believing PSG can still try to be the winner of the game. PSG still have talented players that can still perform well without Neymar, Mbappe and Messi.
