The two signings were quite right, which was carried out by PSG, especially in getting these two players, PSG did not spend money because of the player's status as a free transfer player. I think the arrival of these two players is immediately appropriate to fill the void left by their star players. Skrniar is the type of defender who is quite tough in guarding the defense and I think he will immediately enter Luis Enrique main squad next season.

Now Asensio has no doubt about his ability to finish because he has shown the quality he had when he was with Real Madrid. We will see a new trio at PSG which is Mbappe, Asensio and Neymar. These three players will be good enough and have good enough quality that Luis Enrique can rely on next season.
I would really enjoyed watching PSG league games. Luis Enrique, the new manager, will make more signings for his new team; it is time to tweak the settings and implement his own approach. Meanwhile Skriniar and Marcus Asensio have the skills that the Parc des Princes stadium requires. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is still eager for Kylian Mbappe to sign a long-term contract with the club, but things are getting a little more tightly for these players. PSG signed significant players this summer; they will work more efficiently in order to improve the club's performance promptly.
Luis Enrique should not get interference from any direction to ensure he moves with his experience and knowledge as a coach, because if there is such, then it will hinder his movement. All parties at Paris Saint Germain must give full trust to Enrique to be able to assess the extent of what he can do to improve the team's performance.
And usually when a coach has that kind of freedom, then he will be able to bring out all his abilities and that is the feed back he gives.
Now Paris Saint Germain are not doing well, and that's not an easy task for a coach. I hope he can do it well.

The duo I think will be very instrumental to the future of Paris Saint Germaine and also help the club achieve their aim of of winning the European title in the future.
Kylian Mbappe's future with the club is still uncertain bit the arrival of these players will go a long way in letting him know that he can achieve whatever he wants to achieve in club football with PSG

PSG finally signing new players and with this two players they already fill the void that Ramos and Messi left. They arent close to their quality but will do a good job. Still think that they need more players especially a striker that can score next to Mbappe. If Mbappe somehow leaves this summer they will be in serious trouble.

Luis Enrique for me is the best coach that PSG has so far without removing anything to the previous ones.He has already brought a critical player like Asensio which is an asset in every midfield,an advanced midfielder but nevertheless a great guy to have on the team.It is clear that the president of PSG wants to keep Mbappe for many years but also Mbappe for me should find a team where he can win the Champions League,I know with these moves PSG is aiming to go far in Champions League however other teams have more attacking power. What is good is that Enrique has a vision which he has less than 2 months to implement and start working with this way of play,it would be nice see how PSG will improve further.
Even in the Spanish national team, Asensio was the main choice to fill in the starter at last year's world cup, so it's only natural that the meeting between the two of them will be engraved again at PSG starting next season. For Luis Enrique, being a coach in a top Ligue 1 team will certainly give him a very big responsibility, especially since he has to maintain the tradition of winning Ligue 1 to continue to be able to make this club the pride of the Paris capital proud. Mbappe will be a mainstay for Luis Enrique in attack and he certainly hopes this player will stay.

The Champions League is the most difficult competition faced by PSG so far and if in the cold hands of Luis Enrique can win this title, then PSG will provide bonuses and also a long-term contract renewal for him. I think two months is enough time for the coach to be able to coordinate his players to carry out the strategy the coach wants and it looks like it will go quite smoothly.

Of course, the Paris Saint-Germain management believes in Luis Enrique much more than in Galtier. As far as I know, initially Zinedine Zidane was considered the favorite for this post, and only failure in negotiations with him led to the option with Galtier. By the way, I think that if PSG managed to persuade Zidane to lead the club, Mbappe would be happy to extend his contract with the club. There were rumors that Mbappe was almost promised the arrival of Zidane and the player was very disappointed in the end.

Did negotiations with Zidane fail or did he turn down an offer before they could even send him one? I think he never really showed any interest in becoming the coach of PSG.

As for Galtier, I think many reasons now played a role in their decision and it became even easier when he was now confronted with the allegations concerning racism. But I guess they would have fired him either way and negotiations with Enrique were underway for a while already. But let's see what Enrique can even do now with that team. Winning Ligue 1 with PSG is easier than winning La Liga with Barcelona as their is at least Real Madrid that has to be beaten.

According to my knowledge there was never even a negotiation with Zidane so far. At least they could have tried and got their answer officially. I know that they have been interested in France job but it isn't likely to happen at least until the end of Euro 2024. Deschamps hasn't been very unsuccessful so the board must be wishing to see him in Euro 2024 as well.

But after that maybe Zidane might have a chance. It looks like Zidane is okay for waiting for a year to see what his future will be about that. Anyway maybe some time in the future he would manage PSG but it won't happen in the near future as it seems.

I would not expect Zidane to get the job until the World Cup 2026 is finished. If they wanted Zidane at all cost, they should have done it after Qatar, but instead they gave Deschamps a contract until Summer 2026. Otherwise they could have given him a contract only until summer 2024 and then consider signing Zidane. So in this case I believe there have been talks and together they came to the conclusion that Zidane will not take responsibility of the French national team before late 2026. I thought he did that because he wants to train a club, but now it looks like he still prefers to enjoy life. Wink

I think if Zinedine Zidane is willing, it should have happen
before Luis Enrique was chosen as the new coach of Paris Saint Germain. But over time the deal never happen, which makes us to speculate that it's about availability because accord to some media Paris Saint Germain have try to consider this long before the name Luis Enrique

Leipzig is looking for a new striker to replace nkuku. leipzig has been rumored very close to the openda. Openda has known as lens's striker. That was also pushing lens to seek another striker as a backup once openda will agree to leave from lens and move to the leipzig.
Lens has found a good striker to replace openda once he will be going out from club to the leipzig.

Quote
With the sale of last season’s top scorer Loïs Openda to Leipzig seemingly imminent, Lens now find themselves delving back into the transfer market for a new attacking recruit ahead of next season’s Champions League group stage campaign.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the Sang et Or have drawn up a shortlist which includes Middlesbrough striker Chuba Akpom.
https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2023/chuba-akpom-among-potential-lens-targets-to-replace-lois-openda/
Im thinking chuba akpom is quite good to replace openda's position. I think his career will be even better once he will move to the lens.

When we make a comparison between Akpom and Openda I would favour Openda absolutely. Because Akpom is a Championship player. I know that he scored 28 goals this season which is really impressive. But he has never been a high level player in his career. He couldn't find a proper chance in the Premier League in the past as well.

In my opinion Akpom signing would be quite risky for Lens because of that. Maybe he can have difficulties in adapting to the Ligue 1 and doesn't show a high level performance there. But as for Openda he definitely deserves to play for Leipzig. He scored 21 goals in the Ligue 1 this season. He has proven that he can be very useful in big European leagues.

The truth is that Mbappe is unsure if PSG is going to win the Champions League next season and they has been his major concern as not to have signed a contract extension but with the current state of things right now and the ultimatum that has been given to him by PSG to  renew his contract or they sell him he will be ready to sign a new contract or find his way to another club but it will be left for the club to decide where he will be sold since he's not a free agent yet.I think Mbappe will sign a new contract before the deadline of the date he was given if not then LSG will decide where and the club that he will be sold to.
Yes, one consideration might be because PSG was unable to give him the UCL Trophy. Is it the club's fault of course not because he is a player in the depths of the PSG squad so he really has to think before he is sold by PSG. I think PSG's current attitude is of course not going to depend on a player and that is they will pressure Mbappe to sign a new contract or he will be sold. It's not a good decision if we become mbappe, of course at this time mbappe is frustrated with the situation.

Many big European clubs that will pursue Mbappe signature, starting from Liverpool or Real Madrid, even teams from the Saudi Arabian league are also possible to send offers to PSG if it is true that PSG have officially sold him in this season's transfer window.

I also don't know why Zidane doesn't coach PSG for next season, and apart from the reasons you said, maybe there are several other reasons why Zidane doesn't coach PSG next season that many people may not know about. Because some people still associate Zidane with Real Madrid even though next season Real Madrid will still be coached by Ancelotti, but I also don't know for sure why Zidane didn't become a coach for PSG when PSG needed a better coach.
Well, I don't think that some associations with Real Madrid could prevent Zidane from leading PSG. Then it's more about the fact that Zidane doesn't seem to have any associations with PSG at all, but rather associations with other clubs and cities in France and with fans. However, even here I do not see such insurmountable contradictions. But as you know, PSG was headed by Luis Enrique, and Zidane was again intrigued by the news that he would soon return to coaching. But without any specifics where. Maybe it was just a statement that he was ready to return to coaching and he can now be officially contacted about this. But to be honest, I don't see any free top clubs yet where he could go with his ambitions.

Moreover, if Luis Enrique can really make Paris Saint-Germain better in the Champions League, then maybe that factor will make Mbappe to be able to accept a contract extension at Paris Saint-Germain. Because anyway, if Mbappe will still refuse a contract extension, then PSG should sell Mbappe in this transfer window, this situation is very interesting to look forward to.

As I understand it, Mbappe was given an ultimatum: either he extends the contract or they sell him. How can he know if PSG will be successful in the upcoming Champions League season? He has to make a decision now and if it is not a contract extension he will be sold now. And in my opinion, after all these ultimatums and open letters to each other, it is already too late to continue business together. It's time for PSG and Mbappe to part ways.

In Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio and Manuel Ugarte; i believe PSG has started their redemption on the right note and i am sure that the new boss Luis Enrique will be pleased so far with the progress in the signings amongst others.

Now, PSG needs to solve the Mbappe conundrum, and also sign a striker and an attacking midfielder ahead of the season. With Luis Enrique skills and grit to discover young talents; the PSG academicals will surely have their chance to impress and participate.

I couldn't find any news or articles about PSG giving an official offer to Zidane for the next season because the first coach I was hoping to see him coaching PSG was Zidane but it didn't happen and I don't know why. Maybe he asked for more salary or maybe because of the PSG situation and many players leaving these teams he just rejected the offer from PSG.

Last previous manager in PSG not guarantee will stay for second year after Christophe Galtier and Mauricio Pochettino sacked on the first season, looks difficult stay for next season as PSG manager depend how success in Champion League or not. I think challenge for Luis Henrique how to prove his capacity and be able to last for the next 2 seasons with PSG, its not easy without get good achievement in Champion League can't guarantee for Luis Henrique stay for longer time although success defend Ligue 1 tittle and French Cup.

Zidane has rumor only after several time denied to be PSG manager, he has priority with France national teams manager and not easy to sign him as PSG manager.

Now we just have to see how it plays out on the field. It's better to test Enrique rather than other names that have fewer positive factors. I think Enrique is just pragmatic enough to be a good fit for PSG. One thing I like about him is that he always requires all players to defend and apply high pressure. I also think that he could push PSG to acquire Oyarzabal who from what i know is one of his best and favorite player. Also, everyone knows that his number one objective at PSG, perhaps even the only objective imposed by the management would be the Champions League title.

I agree with you that it looks like Paris SG will have the decision to sell Mbappe because seeing this complicated situation Paris SG has no hope of holding Mbappe.
We can see the look on Mbappe's face as if he doesn't feel comfortable at Paris SG and wants to continue his career at another big club.
I'm a little imagining how the fate of Paris SG without mbappe will be fine or even worse.
Mbappe may likely sign up for Real Madrid from what is going on. He doesn't intend to continue with PSG and he feels Madrid will be a new ground for him. However, the premier league teams have also shown interest in the 24 years old, aiming for his signature. Apart from arsenal, Liverpool is the latest that has pushed money in the table, €200m is what they are ready to pay should he decide to put his signature down with them.

24-year-old Kylian Mbappé will be wanted by any first-class club. But in the last few years, we have heard that Real Madrid are the most interested in Kylian Mbappé. Real Madrid have tried to sign Kylian Mbappé in the last few years. But in the end, they couldn't do it. But this season we are hearing the names of several other clubs besides Madrid who want to get Kylian Mbappé in the team. And every club is very rich. Real Madrid is interested in Kylian Mbappé but we don't know if they are willing to pay a high price. And so I think Kylian Mbappé is most likely to be seen with a Premier League club.

Luis Enrique is here for a 2-year contract. Of course this doesn't guarantee his second season with PSG but most probably he would stay unless he makes the team worse than Galtier's management. Therefore I will be losing my faith in Zidane to manage the team in the near future day by day. Because in the meantime Zidane would wait for an offer from France just as he has done so far. When Enrique's contract ends Deschamps is also going to have not much time in his contract.

Until then France might even decide to part their ways with him who knows. Because we have Euro 2024 ahead and the result of it could affect the decision. In this case Zidane would get a huge opportunity to take.

I can't say much, except to see the depth of the PSG players in the 2023/2024 season. so far, Luis Enrique has not named the player he wants. ideally, Luis Enrique builds the foundation of his squad first to form the team he wants. because, PSG is currently not supported by their star players. that's why, it's too imposing if Luis has to bring PSG to win the Champions League trophy. moreover, now that Mbappe's status has become a hot issue in recent weeks. if, he leaves the French League in this summer's transfer window. that means, Enrique must bring in a potential replacement. Or, he will form a new team strength according to his characteristics.

The point is, PSG must provide support to the coach by pouring out funds to buy the players he wants in his squad. if, PSG can go far in the Champions League. at least in the top 4, it is likely that Enrique will stay in his second season. but if the results are worse than Galtier, then we can already guess what will happen. but I'm quite sure, that Enrique is able to bring PSG to perform much better. however, he will need time to make this team as solid and competitive as the club and its supporters expect.

As for Zidane, don't get your hopes up if he is willing to coach the French League giants. in fact, I doubt if Zidane will become coach of the French national team.
