We don't know if Luis Enrique will succeed as PSG coach. But it would be foolish to think that he will lead PSG to the Champions League title in his first season in charge. A team needs time to stabilize and strengthen. The PSG team situation is very shaky now. And so even with an experienced coach like Luis Enrique, I don't think they will win the Champions League title next season. If Luis Enrique is able to carry out his duties well, he can build a squad worthy of winning the Champions League title in the next 2/1 season.

It is still unclear which team Mbappe will go to. Liverpool and Real Madrid have expressed big-money interest in Mbappe. PSG on the other hand is a very rich club. They are likely to offer Mbappe an increase in wages. And no wonder Mbappe extended his contract with PSG again.

I think by the time people are going to read this post, it is actually going to be officially confirmed that Luis Enrique is the new head coach of PSG. I was scrolling on Twitter, and I found this news. I still remember Luis Enrique being the manager of Barcelona. He did a very decent job. But I am a little skeptical about him finding success with PSG.

I think if I am not wrong, Luis Enrique was the coach of Barcelona when Barcelona beat PSG by 6-5 after being behind by 0-4. But a lot of things has changed since then. It is still going to be hard for PSG to win the Champions League trophy. I also agree with @rahmad2nd that he will need to build his own squad to find success.

Yes, we are following the rumors regarding a potential replacement for Galtier.  it's just that, in recent weeks PSG have not formalized Luis Enrique as their official coach. the problem was, at that time Galtier's position was still with PSG. now, Enrique has officially become a coach at the Parc des Princess. as I said before, Luis Enrique is a coach who has a track record that need not be doubted, he is one of the coaches who ever won a treble winner. on the other hand, PSG is a French giant club that always targets the Champions League trophy. whoever the coach is, they will be fired if in the end they fail to bring PSG to the top of the most prestigious event.

But now the situation is different, PSG has lost several important players. Messi left, and now Mbappe's status is still a hot issue in recent weeks. In fact, we don't hear many rumors about Neymar. with the current situation, as I said, that it will be very difficult for Enrique to lead PSG to win the Champions League trophy in the first season.
Ideally, Enrique will first fix the PSG squad according to what he wants. if the system is running as it should, Galtier only needs to add newcomers to deepen the depth of his squad. that's why I said it would be very difficult for Enrique to win the Champions League trophy, as the club has always wanted.
IMO, PSG can emulate the steps taken by City when they brought in Pep Guardiola, he was given the freedom to build his squad.  and give time to the coach, to build his army according to the desired level.

Thus, maybe PSG will be much better after being handled by Enrique.

PSG have started to be really active in the transfer market. Luis Enrique is about to be announced as the new manager of the team firstly. In addition to that they have signed 6 players and all of them will be official soon. They have made additions to multiple areas of the squad already. People might not have much knowledge about Ndour. I also know him from Football Manager and he has a really good potential for now.  Grin

After these signings I assume a centre-forward transfer will be up next. It had better be because they will need to complete the attacking trio again. Mbappe is already a centre-forward of course but he can play on Messi's wing as well without problem. Having a solid striker in the middle would be really good right beside Mbappe and Neymar.
Some players I don't know and I can not discuss about them. Asensio from Real Madrid is a good choice for PSG so is Skriniar from Inter Milan. It's good for PSG as they already have a coach for a new season. Luis Enrique is an experienced coach with Barcelona, Spain and he will help PSG to achieve sexy football too. Lucas Hernandez looks to be good if they sell Hakimi to Real Madrid.

Three other players, Kang-In Lee, Ugarte, Ndour are very strange players and I don't know about them. With Kang-In Lee, PSG want to bet that they will get a successful transfer with a Korean player like Napoli got with Min-Jae Kim in the last season.

Did negotiations with Zidane fail or did he turn down an offer before they could even send him one? I think he never really showed any interest in becoming the coach of PSG.
I believe that no negotiation with Zidane at all as he does not want to manage another club while still waiting for his chance with France. He got opportunities to manage PSG but never shown that he wants to take it.

I wonder who it could be, since in this transfer window a lot of clubs are trying to get themselves a top striker and doing it for less than 100 million is probably unrealistic.

I'm also wondering who it will be. While Bayern Munich are continuing to make offers for Harry Kane it is interesting that PSG don't. Because he has been speculated with PSG as well. I wonder what they are waiting for. Or maybe this is an indicator that they don't prioritize Kane transfer as his cost will be really high compared to his age.

This divides people about this situation as well. Some think that Kane is still worth that sum and some think the opposite. Kane is technically one of the best complete forwards right now. With the addition of him to PSG we can see Mbappe on the wing which wouldn't be any difference for Mbappe. This move would strengthen PSG's offense a lot.

Maybe PSG believe in Enrique more than Galtier as they have signed a two-year contract with him. But in case of having a similar season I don't know how PSG chairman would react to that. One thing is certain that Enrique will need to take his time until applying his strategies and formation without any difficulties. Because he will bring a much more different approach here. PSG have been playing a really fast game so far but now that is likely to change. Enrique might want to have a similar understading with PSG just as he had at Barcelona in those successful years.
Of course, the Paris Saint-Germain management believes in Luis Enrique much more than in Galtier. As far as I know, initially Zinedine Zidane was considered the favorite for this post, and only failure in negotiations with him led to the option with Galtier. By the way, I think that if PSG managed to persuade Zidane to lead the club, Mbappe would be happy to extend his contract with the club. There were rumors that Mbappe was almost promised the arrival of Zidane and the player was very disappointed in the end.

Did negotiations with Zidane fail or did he turn down an offer before they could even send him one? I think he never really showed any interest in becoming the coach of PSG.

As for Galtier, I think many reasons now played a role in their decision and it became even easier when he was now confronted with the allegations concerning racism. But I guess they would have fired him either way and negotiations with Enrique were underway for a while already. But let's see what Enrique can even do now with that team. Winning Ligue 1 with PSG is easier than winning La Liga with Barcelona as their is at least Real Madrid that has to be beaten.

We'll see if the team improves in performance owing to the loss of some key players or if they improve with the newly formed squad next season. PSG does not favor any coach unequally; all the Parisians want is a coach who can lead the club to greatness. The president of PSG, Al-Khelaifi Nasser, has yet to achieve his goal of winning the UEFA Champions League. He had the best trio previous season, but winning it was even more difficult. However, the Parisians are eager to see what the new boss in charge has to give. Luis Enrique has been entrusted with PSG's ultimate goals; let's see where they go from here.
The fact that the most famous star in the world once played for PSG is the main reason behind their lack of improvement in their game. Because the three big stars playing in the same club, the three considered themselves better than each other and there was an ego working between them which resulted in a bad relationship between the players in everything from passing the ball to other things, which is basically why PSG spent so much money. I did not get any success. At the moment psg has formed new squad for the new season where Messi and some other players have already been left out of the squad. PSG has now appointed a good quality coach in their team. Hopefully, with the right guidance of Luis Enrique, PSG will achieve success with the new team.
The clubs have to let go of certain players and replace them with players with hunger, particularly when it comes to competing in European matches. I can already witness the positive changes happening. PSG has made a wise decision by choosing Enrique, who has a legacy, experience, and strong leadership qualities. However, it is necessary for the PSG boss to keep patience and avoid making quick decisions. Lets say if Enrique fails to win the Champions League next season, it would be better to exhibit patience and give him more time to achieve success. Congratulations to the man full of football experience, and wish him good-luck.

Interestingly, they have spent only 120-130 million, and got a whole set of new players and manager and going to be awesome this season thanks to that. Ugarte is amazing, hernandes is quite great too, Asensio may not be amazing but getting him for free? That's amazing. I think they are going to be huge this year as well.

Only thing that matters now is to see if Mbappe stays or not, if he stays he will give at least one more season of victory for them, but if he leaves I do not know what they are going to do. He is not a player you can replace, there is no player they can get, maybe Haaland but we all know they are not getting him. So this is going to be very weird and I am not sure if it is going to work or not, it is going to be quite difficult.

PSG are likely to hire Luis Enrique as coach. If Luis Enrique is the coach I think he will want full freedom to build his squad. And will want to build his squad from scratch. Mbappe's relationship with Neymar is not good. And so PSG management has to decide to sell one of these two players. PSG did not benefit much by keeping these two players together. I would say PSG should build a squad full of youth with the help of Luis Enrique. As a result, they will get stronger and more organized performances from the squad in the future.
In last few weeks, we have completely different atmosphere at PSG because no one was expecting we will have changes like this right now they are doing changes which are surely going to help them for having their required results or surely changes will be happened in performance as well as they are announced two year contract is already signed with Luis Enrique secondly now Mbappé is also on sell list because he is not happy to extend his contract, and they don't want to keep him even few are thinking deal is already done now just announcement is coming as Real Madrid is completed this all and many new faces are coming here in this club.

Even few things are still looking for settlement but surely now they are doing things which can give change the atmosphere of this club, and also they will be able to have good changes in this club as well surely squad performance will be also much better even they lost too many big names.

The same situation continues between Mbappe and PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi. Mbappe doesn't want to extend his contract certainly but he wants to stay until the end of his current contract anyway. On the other hand PSG president is very determined to not let him go on a free transfer. If he doesn't have an intention for contract extension then he shows Mbappe the door.
PSG have only six months left to lose him for free as I assume that Real Madrid would make an official contract offer right away. They wouldn't wait up until next summer in the end while they have a golden opportunity. PSG are really desperate now as it seems really hard for them to sell him now as he is going to be available for free soon.
PSG have yet to make a decision on Mbappe. Mbappe has yet to renew his contract with PSG. Perhaps he is not interested in staying. I guess PSG management will make a decision about Mbappe after their coach change. If Mbappe is in Enrique's plans then maybe PSG management will try their best to keep Mbappe in the team. And if Enrique doesn't have Mbappe in his plans, Mbappe might be leaving the team soon.
Decision is already made about Mbappé that he is going to leave in this summer, and we have around three strong bids for him as well but nothing is officially coming with most chances Real Madrid will not lose this opportunity to bring him to Santiago Bernabéu even we have few English offers also in rumors but most chances things will be gone in favor of Spanish club with amount is also already discussed because PSG President is now all clear about club future and now allowing anything which create problems for them specially he doesn't want to allow Mbappé leave this club as free agent.

Now, new coach and many new players are also already coming which will surely bring completely change in this club and with this change now can they have change of fortune as well it's not clear because for this we have to wait for the start of new season.

After the negotiations between PSG and Nagelsmann failed, only Luis Enrique was predicted to become the new PSG coach. now, PSG has officially not been coached by Galtier. so, most likely if Enrique will replace his position. Regarding Mbappe, I think the club has to decide wisely. if Mbappe doesn't want to extend his contract, there is no choice but to let him go in this summer's transfer window.
but the problem is, not many clubs are willing to sign Mbappe. besides the high price, Mbappe's salary is very high. ideally, PSG could negotiate with Real Madrid. because, Madrid is the only club that Mbappe wants. plus, Madrid was able to bring in Mbappe and at the same time pay his salary. it's just that, it looks like there will be tough negotiations regarding the ideal price for these two giant clubs. well, let's see how this drama will continue.
Speaking of Enrique, I think he could be an ideal coach and bring PSG even better. it's just that, I doubt if Enrique can bring PSG to win the Champions League trophy in his first season. ideally, as you say. Enrique was given complete freedom to build his squad. I would even prefer if PSG were filled with new people, including releasing Mbappe and even Neymar. instead, Enrique can build his new squad with an even depth of players.
We don't know if Luis Enrique will succeed as PSG coach. But it would be foolish to think that he will lead PSG to the Champions League title in his first season in charge. Luis Enrique is the new coach of paris St. germain. the spaniard replaces the hapless Christophe Galtier, who - like his predecessor Mauricio Pochettino - has to leave after just one year.
LE, who has been out of contract for a year, receives a contract at the french capital club until summer 2025

PSG's coach's track record has always been filled with season-long tenure and I hope that the signing of Luis Enrique will match his end-of-2025 form. We know PSG often sacked their coach before if they couldn't meet the targets desired by the club and maybe if only to win Ligue 1 I don't think PSG have any obstacles, but they want bigger things like winning the champions league. Therefore the future of the coach at PSG will not last long and I hope that Luis Enrique can make a difference this time.

Wow, of course I am very happy to get info about PSG that PSG finally recruited a great coach like Luis Enrique. With the appointment of Luis Enrique as PSG's head coach for the next three seasons, I hope Luis Enrique can provide a stable and consistent performance for PSG both in Ligue 1 and the Champions League. So yes, because Luis Enrique has become PSG's head coach, it seems that this will have an impact on Mbappe, whether Mbappe will really leave or choose to stay at PSG. Because anyway, if Luis Enrique manages to provide the best results and performance for PSG, then I think there is a possibility that Mbappe will stay at PSG, who knows.

Finally, Enrique started wiring with PSG and this can be good news for this team because, during the last seasons, we saw from PSG had all the good players they wanted to have and the owners were investing lots of money in this team while PSG couldn't have a good coach for their teams and this time PSg got what they need they to have, now we have to wait for Enrique and see the list he is going to give to the team for hiring players in the next season.
TBH, Enrique's arrival at PSG I'm thinking between doubting and being happy to see him because Enrique will be a coach with a new face who might make a difference in the future of PSG but my doubt is that Enrique hasn't had good experience and for me not as good as Galtier. Maybe this is just my speculation but it all depends on the PSG players themselves whether they can bring home the Champions League trophy with Enrique.
and for other problems Enrique is really able to control all the lines to be able to always perform well in every game and hear rumors about if Mbappe leaves Enrique wants PSG to bring in other reliable players and this will only be the same as Galtier when he served as PSG coach to bring in star players like Messi and the results are not very good in the champions league.

but let's just see if Enrique is able to provide new history at PSG.

I think Patrick Vieira can do a good job at Strasbourg in the French League; theres a believe that if the Premier League is too good for your skills; then the French League can be a good one for you, vice versa too. Did Patrick Vieira do a good job at Crystal Palace? YES; Did he make the good performance consistent? NO. I think with the experience from EPL, Patrick Vieira can take Strasbourg to a better level.
@ampere here I am agreed with you about this Patrick Vieira was surely good player and his start with Crystal Palace was also not bad at all even in last few weeks he was badly down and lost his job, but it's not mean he can't do anything good in his future now Strasbourg which was hardly prevented from relegation now having his services hopefully these both will be done good as they need to be stayed in Ligue 1 and for this Patrick Vieira surely need to make good things with available sources.
Premier League is surely one of the toughest league and French Ligue 1 is surely relatively have some space where he can manage something positive, and we can expect good performance from Strasbourg and new coach as well.

let's be honest, is neymar still a player that psg can count on his services? how many games will he play next season before getting injured again and partying and traveling? in my opinion psg should sell neymar and if they focus on hiring other better players who will play most of the season's games, i see that psg doesn't have a good sporting direction and i don't understand if they hired a new coach now, so who is doing the hires? this list of players they are looking to sign and others have already been signed seems to me to be a very weak list for a team that aims to win the champions league

first mistake was in hiring coaches, second mistake was in hiring players, so psg in my opinion has been making a lot of mistakes each season and they don't correct that, does anyone expect that with this squad and psg win the champions league? and when I speak of the squad I am including the new coach. do they have the ability to win the champions league as they currently are? my answer is that it doesn't. psg fans were tormenting messi and made messi leave the team, they blamed messi for the bad results, something ridiculous

today I see news that they have given a few days for mbappe to choose to extend the contract or leave the team, they know that there are few teams capable of currently buying mbappe because many teams have already exhausted their budgets destined for signings, and with that the psg management hopes that the mbappe has no choice and extends his contract, but if an offer appears from real madrid and they buy mbappe then psg will no longer have a chance of winning the champions league

PSG have to recruit new players after the departure of many players including Messi and the uncertainty about Mbappe and Neymar. The attack line got the hardest heat and they have to work to rebuild it correctly. Enrique will certainly figure this out and I think the list of these players was made after his agreement.
Now this rumour about Mbappe is kinda strange. The number announced here could build a whole team!!

Yes, this is a fantastic amount, although in fact, PSG originally acquired Mbappe for an absolutely fantastic amount, but no one noticed this as that deal was in the shadow of the deal with Neymar. Then Mbappe received a "single" space contract when he re-signed an agreement with PSG, and now it's the turn of the third contract. In principle, against the backdrop of the deal that Ronaldo received, this is not that much money - just 2-odd Mudrik (who has not yet shown anything for Chelsea)  Grin
