Judging by the recent speculations by the media and the decision of Kylian Mbappe not to extend his Paris Saint Germaine contract, I think it'll be almost impossible to Kylian Mbappe play for PSG come next season and that I think will be a very big issue for PSG as club after losing key first team players like Sergio and Lionel Messi coupled with the fact that Neymar's future with the club is also uncertain.
If Mbappe should leave the French capital this summer, it'll take PSG a major transfer signing spree to become a strong European club once again

It's true that being able to bring in star players will not always have a big impact on the club's performance, even more so one GOAT who arrives may not be able to change all that. Maybe it's also not Messi's fault if PSG couldn't get anything that season and indeed because they really like to buy star players, they tend to turn them into a foundation to be able to win the title.

PSG should be able to look at other lines that are still lacking in punch and if they don't just focus on one side I think they will still be able to get what they want. However, even for the first Champions League title they are still very unlikely until now and now we will not know where PSG will go next next season.

Of course this is possible. After all these unsuccessful results, some changes may occur. France is a beautiful country and Paris is a wonderful city. Football is changing, PSG is not the only club where they can pay more, and you are right now it is clear that the team is going through a stage when players are disillusioned with the club and are trying to find another place where they can realize their goals. Perhaps in the off-season, PSG will once again bring together star players, but they have done it so many times and now it's all over again, it doesn't look like it can bring them the desired result.

In fact, not only high fees are a priority for players to be able to join the club, but the management and road map are also other reasons that are also considered by the players. Furthermore I feel that PSG won’t splash the money this season as I’m sure that they have realised their mistake that spending big money doesn’t always guarantee success.

Yes but honestly, what other star players can they now bring in when your offensive line was Messi, Mbappe and Neymar already? What I am trying to say is that PSG already went for the maximum. What else can they do to aim even higher? Who are the three players that they can bring in and who would be willing to sign a contract with PSG? I think they have reached their limits and this is it for now. As long as Ligue 1 is as weak as it is overall, they won't be able to convince players in their low or mid 20s who are still willing to take on the biggest challenge in world soccer, which is probably the Premier League or some other league, but not Ligue 1.

I agree with you. Nasser Al Khelaifi has a lot of money. And PSG management doesn't want to make money by selling its players. Nasser Al Khelaifi has spent a lot of money in the last few seasons just to strengthen the team. Also since Messi has just left PSG, and PSG management is yet to sign any player to replace Messi. Right now they won't make a stupid decision like selling an important player like Mbappe to make money. If PSG management can find replacements for Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar, then they will decide to sell Mbappe. Until then, Nasser Al Khelaifi will try his best to renew the contract with Mbappe.

Almost all of players signed with big amounts of money were leaving from the club with free transfer status. PSG definitely wasted so much money for all of them. Neymar which already bought by PSG with 222 millions will be also leaving the club with low price.

I remember when so many parties are putting their believe in PSG.

PSG was making so many big movements a few years ago by signing messi, di maria, mbappe, neymar, veratti, ramos, hakimi and many more. PSG is likyle going back to the its mediocre form.
