That's why PSG needs to have new players who have more potential to be able to bring PSG into the CL championship at least reach the final, Messi and Neymar can't be relied on, even though they have great players they still always fail in CL, but talking about the league PSG will definitely win it easily because there are no serious competitors in league one, even their competitor Lens has a 6-point difference between PSG, so there is no difficulty for PSG to win league one.
PSG needs a lot of changes next season so they can become an even better club than this season, at least being able to penetrate the CL final has made good progress, I hope they really make a lot of changes and reforms to their players.
Messi can't be relied on. The guy wins the World Cup final, scores the second most goals, is the best scorer in Ligue 1 with goals and assists and your judgment is that he cannot be relied on. I mean everyone is free to have their own opinion. Do you think that the Norwegian national team should kick out Haaland because they are not winning the World Cup because Haaland cannot be relied upon?
Now Hakimi wants to leave PSG. They are facing a wave of players leaving the club I think. This could lead to drastic changes in the squad that will be available for next season. Hakimi won't be the only one.
I like your idiom about this because it's really a bit sickening especially for PSG fans.
In this case, especially for Ligue 1, I don't really like the competition and I don't really like PSG either, but on the other hand, for now, my dislike is more for the fans, who seem as if they can do anything by judging almost any player. Messi, Neymar and now Hakimi. What are they thinking right now because indeed they are trying to make a big overhaul with PSG's condition. Even if they are a rich club and I know this but don't they think of other considerations just by judging someone playing badly and having to be replaced.
This is truly an irony for a fan club as big as PSG.
This has often been a point of contention for me when people said that Messi isn't the GOAT because he didn't win the World Cup. It is so wrong because a lot of top players will never have the chance to win the World Cup in the first place because they weren't born in France, Brazil, Spain etc.
The whole idea of building a club in an inferior league to win the Champions League isn't all that great anyway. Is it good that investors try to improve other leagues? Yes I am all for it, it's ok because that is the name of the game, but the problem I see is if things get to one-sided. If there were 2 or 3 PSGs in Ligue 1, there would be a real competition with nice gams and PSG players would feel the pressure on a weekly basis. But now they play against Troyes and Ajaccio and out of a sudden they are against Real Madrid.
But Ligue 1 isn't the only league that is boring, as soon as one team gets too strong a league starts losing its appeal in my opinion.
