No doubt bitcoin changed many lives in a short period of time and we are lucky enough to have this technology and the new market at the right time but the scammers took over the market in storm in this market too and unless there is regulation and other intervention it will be difficult for the new users to trust this market as we have already seen scam exchanges running off with the coins citing exchange hack, ponzi pyramid schemes and fake projects but all in all bitcoin helped many and good to hear about your story.

very inspiring story of the OP. many people have been saved by the economy because of bitcoin. I myself before getting to know Bitcoin only had an income from my professional work and that was just enough I used to meet my daily needs. but after I joined bitcoin and get extra income from bitcoin. finally I can build a house and have a good vehicle. thank you bitcoin your presence brings blessings to many people.

Yes, 2017 has been a FOMO year for those who got rekt, it is sad but hoping that they recover their loss anymore or they have the opportunity to accumulate so when time comes that there is another bull run, they can gain a lot. So, for me, I don't buy when at peak price, I am buying when it is stable already, and just doing short term investment.

FOMO's are those who got frustrated from this venue of investment, unlike OP who able to have a good life in terms of financial help since he's able to catch up in the time. There's still opportunities to people who are willing to take it seriously as both long and short term strategy will work if you have good optimistic point of views regarding to your strategy. It's still an open space to anyone who have a good mindset to work with this industry and have a prosperous stay.

It is no doubt that bitcoin do really change the lives of our fellow bitcoin hodlers. In my opinion, The growth in bitcoin is when you are aware of your capabilities and you are open for change since bitcoin is a very dynamic asset. It is unnecessary to wait, if we already have the assets right now, what we need to do to is discover ways to earn such as to trade, and to provide efficient and effective services through bitcoin.

Wow, what a life struggle. I was actually free of debt in 2017 when is there is a market bull run and also went under during the 2018 cryptocurrency market crash. I'm still hanging around though, waiting for another opportunity like the one we got in 2017 to clear debt also and live a happy life like everyone else.

Yes, I also know some people here in my country who are into buying and selling btc locally to people around here without the need for exchange, I am among the many people who patronize this guys, some of them use this means as a major source of income since there are no much jobs around here, btc is changing lifes of some people, given them hope.

Great job mate. Very impressive stuff, and it's definelty the first story I've heard where people have used bitcoin/cryptocurrencies to get out of debt or other sticky situations, most of the articles I've seen are people that have gotten into debt from cryptos. Nice turn of pace.

I have a similar story, I went from being very average at trading stocks for a long part of 2016 and 2017 to mostly trading crypto-currencies and my profits have definelty grown since then.

Pretty sure, if you where invested (not just financially) into crypto-currencies during 2017 and 2018, you would have been affected some way by crypto.

A colleague of mine who initially into online forex trading stopped doing it when he realised that there was a hug demand for bitcoin in my country and now all he does is buying bitcoins from people and then he just resell them and he is making close to 8% of every single dollar equivalent of Bitcoins that he sells. Bitcoin is a huge deal here and since there is no regulation, we don't even get taxed when buying or selling.

I think a lot of people in first world countries does not understand the difference that $1 to $10 can make to someones life in third world countries. I have worked on contract in 3rd world countries and I introduced Bitcoin to some of those people and on my next visit a lot of them thanked me for introducing them to this border less technology. Wink

Some of them are also doing "online" work for bitcoin and a lot of them are storing their little saving in Bitcoin to protect it against hyperinflation. Wink

2017-2018 was a life changing time for me too. Wink

Personally, I have always wanted to do something worthwhile aside my usual work. Thanks to a good friend who introduced me to cryptocurrencies, am living the dream now.

Sad to hear that there are lots of people who got scammed, I hope that they can recover their losses in other way and still get to used Bitcoin despite of what happened in their life, they should just treat it as personal experience and learned from it and not the reason to give up. Many lives has been change because of this opportunity I hope that they can see it.

A very extraordinary experience. I was moved by reading various success stories of the members in this thread. Very inspiring.

Before focusing on trading and doing bounties, I was just an ordinary employee with a meagre salary. The necessities of life have increased, especially since I am getting married, at that time in 2017. I tried to get additional money until my friend gave me capital to trade, thank God at that time I could profit more than 100% in a few months, I could return the capital loan, and have money to start a new life with my wife. Until I decided to stop working as an employee, then with my wife focus as a freelancer, trader, bounty hunter. It's nice to have a job that you can set your own working hours and proportion of work

Being stuck into financial issues will easily eat up our life. I believe the job he has got by that time secured his life. My principle at that time was to continue to learn to understand bitcoin, and eventually it became routine. the solution began to appear since I started to dare to trade BTC, and began to get used to candlesticks. I didn't even understand forex/stock at the time. A few years later Halving btc happened and the debt burden that I thought made no sense to pay off finally paid off. What I am grateful for is that the knowledge that is continually tried will be a way out when it is difficult.
