Nothing lasts for ever. Yes, I am also believing Bitcoin will be here for plenty of more years, but we don't even know what the world will look like after 10-20 years. Just look back 20 years, and look at the difference with how things are right now. That shows how fast the world can change. Perhaps that something will pop up that outperforms Bitcoin in every way. We don't know that.
Bitcoin can keep working perfectly even with just 2 miners and 2 nodes. In that aspect Bitcoin can basically be kept alive for ever. Bitcoin made sure the foundation for decentralization is set. That's something people will never forget. At least, I won't.
