Stroto,
You do not see the problem because you do not see the entire conversation I have had with SecondsTrade. Lets just look at a few of the points you state and answer them for you.
1) I don't see your problem - Answer, as stated above it is because you lack the full conversation I have been having with SecondsTrade for 6 months.
I've only read what you have written here. But since you were screaming "You owe me, You owe me" I was looking up the whole conversation as I like to dig around projects where I rotate coins through.
2) You exceeded the maximum bet and got refunded for that. - Answer - apparently I exceeded the maximum bet. Was the funds returned without effort? NO. Was I e-mailed? NO. Did I receive any calls or help from support explain what happened? NO. What I received was this. BTC sent, no confirmation, waiting, no confirmations, nothing on Seconds Trade site. waiting, waiting, waiting. I anxiously tried to find a support phone number, a live chat or e-mail option. I found none. The website offers links on the bottom to facebook and twitter. After much searching the next day I was able to find an e-mail on this site, bitcointalk. I then began the long process to find someone to get me paid. What I received was only my bet back. This took a long time and lots of communication and pressure to even get this back. But I didnt receive my profit.
It was refunded within two or 3 days I'm not counting the hours orso. It is a bit slow and should be automatic but nothing uncommon in this cryptocommunity. As you said in your first reply that was on the 16th "yesterday I made a bet and today I saw the limit" (happens to me a lot too not reading everything and the day after thinking... ohw). The first reply was we check it the second we refund it.
3) cool strategy - Answer, simply wrong. This suggests that this is something that could actually happen. If a site accepted my bet and lost, do you really think I could go back to them and say, oh hey, by the way I bet over the site limits and lost please refund me. What would you say to this person? If you honestly think someone would refund someone when they lost because they bet to much then you are a fool.
Answer me this. When I learned about site limits I offered a proposal tat I be paid upon the site limits. I bet 2 BTC, just pay me on 1 BTC. .8 btc profit. I recieved a message from SecondsTrade on facebook messenger last month that I would receive my profits "soon"
Ok so I wait again. Where is it? I post and post and ask and ask. Then they say, oh sorry your request is more than one month old. We cant do anything about it. Are you kidding me???
So here we are here now.
What would you do?
In this cryptocommunity there are a lot of people that exactly play that game. Trying to earn some coins like that. If you would have lost your bet while it was exceeding the limit it would have not been processed as bet and refunded.
Exceeding the limit, is in a lot of casino's an automatic refund of that bet, win or loss. I've exceeded the limits multiple times on different sites and with some rookie dealers in real casino's (not on purpose I blame the booze lol) in all instances I only got my original bet back, with both supposively wins and losses. And yeah I honestly think that both casino's and legit online casino's/bettingsites that don't want to have their credibility wasted on a few coins refund any bet that is over the limit. Any huge sportsbetting site where I exceeded the limit just refunded it that happened automatically and I didn't need to contact them, "bet rejected" turns up on page.
If I would own this site I would never had said I would give you the profit of half the bet, as I would have refund any exceeding bet that lost too as it did not confirm with the rules of betting it would be invalid. And that is exactly what I am referring too. I would lose all credibility if I would NOT refund a bet that is exceeding the limit just because it would have lost when it would have been within the limits. For that reason I would not pay out the winnings up to the limit either. As I, if I would respect my own rules, would have to pay the original bet back on a loss and the original bet plus some winnings on a win. How long would it take before the word was out and everyone and their grandmother would exceed the limit to drain the hotwallet? It is ignorant to think that won't happen.
However if secondstrade did say to you they would pay out of courtesy (as I said I would never have done that), they should pay but since it is a courtesy they won't owe you it. They should have been firm in January and just say no, you've got a refund already.
I would appreciate their courtesy offer too of course , I would hope they would be a man of their word, I would not expect it to happen though and I would not be trying to get that for months and months as there are more important things in life then people that say one thing and do another.
Good Luck anyway, I was just interested if your 2.1 BTC had *poofed* but you got them back.
