Ughhh, so, am a little hungover  Roll Eyes. Excited to see the Appstore launch today!

Will try to be present for the launch to promote the coin and its new features with my fellow community members. Once we have this app store piece in place hopefully we can increase awareness significantly, which will lead to volume, and more exchanges picking up our currency.

This whole process can take months, and have a lot of ups and downs along the way. Seme coins never reach true potential, and others surpass it on awareness alone. We gotta get this last piece of the puzzle in place, and then the ultimate goal for the community will be awareness. Allowing the devs to continue developing.

This currency, and every other is a mix of developers, and community. One can only be as good / valuable as the other. Developers can create the products, its up to the community to increase its size. A large community, of small investors is what makes this so unique. Every one of us has the power within us to do something today. You can start small, or do something more significant. But please don't say you can't do something. Anything is possible. So its very possible that today is the day we start to create significant awareness, for a real  product.

We are contacting media outlets today, we wanted to be sure the appstore is ready for beta release first.
Today we are more confident things are on the right track and we will seek independent reviews from any media outlet.
If any of you have contacts with independent editors, you can email them as well or contact news editors directly.
Please remember this is not part of our marketing, we are trying to get positive/negative reviews to make our final
platform better, so these editors need to have full authority on what opinions they form. We are not afraid to take
the negative with the positive, in fact we are hoping some might point out to us things we have missed that will help us
along the way.

Media outlets contacted so far: Coindesk, Cryptoarticles, Coinssource.
We will contact more as the day goes on, the community is invited to help.

I have an idea looking at the proposal where the partnerships are coming from. Could be completely wrong. But this seems like it would fit in well with some of the other 2.0 projects going on.

Pretty exciting time. I really am interested to see people start to create business around this platform. Unique, and disruptive... GAIA platform really has the ability to change the landscape.

Why wait until its to late? Its time to get these GAIA coins before the heard comes in.

Osmservices keeps being hacked away from me :-( th
So, we have limited time until this release. More things in the pipeline to come. Exchanges look to be about to come on board.

I initiated my buy target on twitter to my followers the other day. I think a 25k satoshi price target by end of 2014 is a realistic and attainable goal.

Everything is looking on track. Don't miss out. Opportunities for exponential gains in virtual currencies are drying up. This IMHO, might be one of the last areas of value that hasn't been tapped. The Appstore and its ability to go cross platform, if this is the case will be incredibly disruptive.

Disruptive ideas have changed the landscape of crypto over the years. It has been a long time since a coin has been around that has shown such signs of disruption in the virtual currency marketplace. The GAIA Platform positions itself to be unique, engaging with the community, and it offers the potential for more services, and products to develop around this ecosystem.

From just reading the thread and being involved in irc I see a great coin potentially with a solid active community.

Gaia looks very promising  Grin

Development Update:

The appstore is now in final testing stage for initial release. We should make our November deadline for road map.
We also have some partnerships coming up that will be implemented into the wallet as well, these will be added
in December or as soon as we have final agreements, these include Fiat/BTC exchange in wallet. This is not
finalized yet, but we are doing our best to make it happen ASAP. The fees from such exchange will go towards
support for the GAIA project.

After the initial release of the appstore, we will take reviews and inputs from users on what could be done to
improve it, and then we will start wallet automation of tasks making it easier to use.
We will also do some factoring on the wallet to make it lightweight and dynamic.

The appstore is being done from scratch, which means do not expect google store from day one  this is only
the initial release. The store is meant to show how the platform can be used as a full E-commerce store with
easy customization and adoption. Once the store is tested and bugs ironed out and general UI/features improved,
we will jump to the next stage, which is adoption by merchants, small business owners. The practical uses are
limitless, building an entire web business inside the wallet has not been attempted before in this fashion.
We will make it easy for everyday user to adopt because the blockchain will only act as a payment method
and not be storage of e-commerce data etc. The store owner will have more control on what is sold on his store.
Also the eventual adoption will allow us to integrate a mixer service which will make this anonymous and decentralized.

There will be more GAIA surprises coming down the road.

Documentation needed for GAIA adoption and customization will be added to our Github as soon as we have tested  the
appstore fully and gave it a nice UI look. We are delaying these right now because the platform will get an overall dynamic change.

We have been contacted by some coin devs to license the GAIA wallet for their coins. We will allow this if the coin dev
shows an investment in GAIA coin. This should be beneficial to our community and does not violate the spirit of open source,
as we will not get any direct payment from that.

Note: Please do not post contest pics on BCT, this violates the rules and could cause closure of our thread.
Limit contests to Twitter. However, posting a pic of your wallet is allowed, as long as it's not meant for contest.

Have you tried coindesk or coinsource mabye bitcoinmagazine or cryptocoinnews (all websites) to raise awareness use some of that ico to get published? The idea 💡 wallet skins is amazing let alone an appstore and browser compatibility.
