Banning gambling streams is like infringing on human rights, gambling streams is not the reason why people get addicted to gambling, people get addicted to gambling because they lack self control, so even if online gambling streams were to be banned, gamblers who lack self control will still get addicted to gambling, I have a friend who does not even own a smart phone or computer, he has no access to the internet, but yet, he is addicted to gambling..

From someone who have two brothers in the family that are gambling addicts, I will like to correct you that not everyone knows that gambling is going to make them to lose money over and over

I have a brother that was introduced to gambling by his school friends, they just introduced him to gambling and he had no clue about how one will mostly keep losing to the casino, he just went ahead and threw all he can.

It was when he kept losing that I heard about his addiction, I was the one that explained to him how casinos are wired, gambling only benefits the makers themselves, not the gambler, I told him to start using what he can afford to lose and when he win he should stop gambling.

Right now he is no more into gambling, but he still gambles once in a while, but at least he understands how casino and gambling works, but honestly not everyone understands this, most people knows after they lost a lot of money or after they become addicted.

This was influenced by the streams watched by people.  They see that some streamers are able to won 1000x to 120k times of their bet.  And people are getting encourage to do this make big money fast thing by gambling on the same platform their favorite streamers are playing.  Little that the person knows that it is hard keep winning in gambling let alone the 1k to 120k times of the bet.


I highly agree, people have different levels of luck.  Aside from that, chance-based gambling games have different result so one should not think that he can duplicate the amount of winning of other people.  Instead, a person should always consider that in gambling the chance of losing is higher since the casino has this thing called an house edge.

You need to prove things in action and that's really difficult to accomplished, I mean it's easy to say that you can gamble with full responsibility but once you got deeply engage, the chance that you will got addicted will change all the directions of your activities, more on follwoing your lust and desire to keep playing and that word about being responsible will surely be forgotten,.

Yep, actually someone who is addicted is a little complicated to explain briefly, or just through a short discussion.
IMO, the point of the problem is not addiction, but rather our behavior which tends to think irrationally. what makes it difficult for us to stop gambling sessions is when we lose, not when we win. At first we just play for fun, but when we experience defeat, the thought often arises that in fact soon we will win, whether it's a jackpot or a high reward. which in the end, our emotions will be involved. What started as just having fun, turned into a pursuit to recover losses. in short, in most cases that is what happens to us gamblers.

You should not allow yourself going into a phase or condition that you are already on the brink on making yourself that totally wrecked out by gambling on which it do leaves you on having no money at all or the

Your thought is like a saying ( the reflections of your self, once you respect yourself then other will respect you too.) Like for example on what you've mentioned above if we are responsible for gambling then other can see too that we are responsible.  But for me being an responsible gambler is too hard cause you need to be active and also you need a strategic moves in order to be called that we are a responsible gambler.

How often do we see ourselves as a responsible gambler in what we do, we could get to a certain stage in gambling and we know by ourselves how we give ratings to what we do, if we don't see ourselves as a responsible gambler then how do we expect others to have that look of being a responsible gambler in us, we should try as much as possible to be the best representation of our image in

You are right and I completely agree with you, knowing the dangers of something does not exempt one from becoming a victim of that thing if he or she indulged  in it, and also, constant losses in gambling does not stop an addict from gambling even though at the end of it, they're always in regret for the money lost, that will regret is mainly for that period or for just that day, give them some time, they will get over it easily and find their way into the casino again.

I had a friend who was an addicted gambler, and after losing money he never expected losing, he will go home and cry all night and swear never to gamble again for the rest of his life, once his back from work the next day, if you look for him at home and he's not around, look for him in a nearby casino and you will find him there gambling again, this is exactly what gambling addiction does to gamblers who are addicted .

I agree with what you say. Gambling addiction is difficult to stop and not many people can do it. That's because they have lost self-control before, making them want to recover their losses and regain their winnings. Becoming a gambling addict doesn't require much.
