It is not easy even for experienced gamblers with many years of experience. I have watched one of my friends panicking after losing significant amounts. And he had more than 10 years experience in gambling. When you are under stress, it is not that easy to go by the rule book. The best thing would be to take a break, but even that is not possible sometimes.
I don’t think it has anything to with the years of gambling and for me there’s nothing like an experienced gambler, no one is experienced when it comes to game of chance. I think the huge amount of money your friend committed triggered the panic and that’s really disastrous, little things that could easily be avoided but yet we never do.
I don’t sympathize with people like that, am sorry to say that please because I feel they made their decision in the first place. We have an option to either play for entertainment, which relieves us of stress or play for money which would also lead to emotional trauma.
On the contrary, I would say that it takes experience to be successful in gambling, no one ever becomes an expert without experience, for example I have learnt from experience to always set limit in gambling, before now, I believe in gambling till I make all the profit and most times I end up losing all the money.
In addition, everyone cannot play for fun, there would always be those who play for money but what is important is learning the basics and strategies for successful gambling and as well gathering experience to stand out as a professional gambler.
