It is to generalize that those people who are in gambling addiction that's because they don't have such self-control. It is really a big challenge and I know not all of us have that control but being in gambling addiction it is an option we choose and not just because we can't handle to manage our self.
If we think wisely and stay in focus then, we are too far from being caught into addiction.

It's hard to say that to a gambler when they are on it, when they are deep into gambling there's nothing that anyone can do to stop them or have control, there's always that hope that the next roll is their turn to win, you can say that to a gambler who is just starting out but never to a gambler who's into it for years.

Lack of Self control = more chances of losing.

The gambler gambled all of his money until he has nothing left and when his money is already gone, the worst thing happened. I think instead of gambling, why don't you choose to do different things like playing online games. If you can't control your emotion then just don't gamble. Simple as that.

but there are also people who are out of control when they lose a lot while playing online gambling and high emotions and can damage technology devices such as computer devices or smart phones by slamming or hitting because of uncontrolled emotions and who can hurt themselves.

so, controlling emotions when playing gambling is very important in real gambling or using online technology.

agreed, you go crazy when you lose your hard earn money, on something that has to be with luck, and you realy want to win it all back to feel better often you lose more than you did in the beginning in the end.

Well, gamblers must have this kind of mindset itself, must aware of possible things happen and cause into addictions. Emotion is very important to manage and follow by self-control. Both of these if you have then, you are totally fine. Bare this always in mind that gambling is the way you relax not for chasing money, if you lose then you stop, that's it.

The hallmark of gambling which is uncertainty is one of the main reasons I always expect gamblers to choose gambling as a game of fun and desist from every destructive habit. As long as gamblers keep on playing for fun, self control would always be a great challenge that would be difficult to solve, this is money we are talking about mate.

I think the reason we see many running after how to make money is because of the fabricated stories of dramatic increases in frequency of wins we daily read about gambling and gullible people would without a second thought not mind committing their hard end money in playing some games.

You have a very good point bro, the reason we keep seeing people do everything they can to make money in gambling is because they have heard stories about successful gamblers and I always tell people that most of the stories are not real because I wonder why we would here stories of how people win as much as 2BTCs and I’ve been consistently gambling for years, yet never won a dime.

Like you mentioned, the best is to play for fun, at least there’s no emotional stress in gambling for fun and one will not have to start fighting on how to deal with self-control.

That’s true. There’s no one without emotions, especially when it comes to gambling, Emotions are always with us regardless of the purpose of playing but the passion we have for gambling makes us put it in check, and doing this can be very challenging.

I have seen casual bettors who only gamble for fun, get caught up in competition, some even allow the disappointment of losing trigger unplanned actions and it get so clear that emotion control is truly a necessity for every gambler. Emotional control is not an easy task for some people and it is because you are not addicted to gambling that is why we talked of self control as something that is easy for gambling addicts. Better to deal with full dedication, if you can control your emotions you'll not worrying about getting to deep from this activity, you'll be able to control your time and the money that you'll going to use for your entertainment purposes, if you are aware of the possible results being to much engaged then you will not allow yourself to become addicted, you'll do everything to avoid that for sure.
