We think we can win while in fact it is hard to win. Let me rephrase it, it is hard to win when we play EV- games. It is abit easier to win in EV+ games although there is no guarantee as well. However if you could choose between EV- and EV+ for your gambling addiction then the answer should already be obvious

Thats true, if you experience to win for the first time it leads us to believe that in gambling you can earn easy money thats what others think. gambling can make you feel great especially if you are lucky and we clearly remember the moment we win than our losses.

Addiction is really hard to remove on ones self.

well probably yes though not all the time. money has a lot to do woth why people get addicted to gambling as it is because of greed that they can't seem to get enough of it even though it's clear that they may lose everything. people's love of money leads them to a lot of bad decisions and gambling is one of them

I think this addiction is achieved if as they grow up they are prone to gambling or someone influences them to gamble because in my own personal experience when I tried gambling when I was 17 I feel so lost when I lose my bet and since then I only gave!Ble occasionally. Some of my friends are always betting gjn the lottery and charity sweeptakes, well I think their losses when their bet is summed up everyday is kind of big. Some are card gamblers which they've learned since young. Another factor is that it must be because of what they are calling the beginners luck where you are lucky in the beginning and win big amount of prizes and you think that you're going to win like that again.

That could become a bigger problem if we don't know how to quit, to lose money is a big problem especially if you are gambling a hard earned money.
Losing money in gambling is alright as long as you are having fun and you have the will to control yourself and ensure you will not be addicted.

Perhaps, not everyone is addicted person in gambling. But 40% to 50% chances are here that majority of the gamblers are addicted, and in 10% gamblers who have been addicted and they want to left it and want freedom from it. But i realize only strong mind people they are good in gambling, and they know deeply about addiction, may be that reason that's why they know who to safe ourself from addiction.

There are a lot of people that are not addicted to gambling, an example is me. I have my ups and downs concerning on the gambling part because I have tried to win some money and my intention was for profit. It's not going to work because I was getting greedy when I was winning. It's definitely a sad thing to do because I wasn't able to make it work in the long run.
