I think one should read more books about gambling, including about the history, strategies, gambling probabilities, how people have beaten the games and even from the point of view of casino employees. This should teach you more about the limits of gambling and why you should never be addicted to it.
I doubt it that it will give some lessons about the limitation when he started to read some strategies. A gambler will try it again and again until it will not work but it is a good thing that you will read some of those types so that you can have a better way of dealing with your addiction.
