Here I can only see such stories about gambling where most of the people have only lost money. in few cases I can see that some people have made a little money from gambling while most of the are lost a lot of their money. so we can conclude the result here is gambling is one of the most difficult way of making money.

People only remember and give preference to successful stories, they although think about themselves that the will also be one of them, but they are not ready to accept the reality. In fact it is not so easy to make money from gambling but people only choose gambling because they think it is the shortcut way for making money.

I want to believe addiction stories usually start like this as it is more like the platform giving you a welcome party just to make you engross in the moment while thinking it is usually going to be a huge win situation. At the end, you would just realize you have been losing more than you are ever winning.

I only gambled to try my luck for a while, and it did not really work out well for me right from the start and that made me quit immediately. That point in your life when you want to try nasty things but while reading through this thread, it is a good thing I never got the chance to get caught up in the moment of early winings which sounds like the major start for virtually huge percentage of gamblers.

Exactly! This is when addiction starts. Someone said, The taste of victory would deceive us to gamble more. But, somehow I managed to control my emotions. I have won and lose many times. @steampunkz really want to hear rest of the story. Have you come back to gamble again?

Here, more stories depicts population that is poor. Rich aren’t included in here because even if they lose, they aren’t affected in any way. They are still good at their numbers. But yes, when a medium class person gambles and lose it, he is affected so soundly. They couldn’t even resist that hit and sometimes they lose everything they had. So my message to them is to leave this game.

The sad is even low class people or people who don't have a stable life also do gambling which is worse and if he lose on gambling, they don't have anything left.

Although rich don’t want to play as well but still they could recover their loss from business or something they are earning from. But a person who isn’t even capable of feeding his children three times a day, and he is victim of this game. This is so pathetic for management of house as well to let such people play game.

That is one of the reasons why gambling is illegal in my country. People were so addicted to it and alcohol and drugs worsen this situation. Poor people were spending all their money including their daily earnings. Even if they lose money they won't stop. This increased crime rates and eventually government had to put a stop on it.

Yeah, it's the worst part of the gambling effect, it's not uncommon for addicts to do that, to go back to gambling they do everything they can, including evil and illegal things to get money and gamble again, it's the same as alcoholics or drugs, but not all addicts like that right ?

Gambling is really much addictive. Gambling has caused a lot of looses for many peoples and it is continuing the same. Actually the profits in gambling are quite good which highly attracts the users to go for it and they start getting greedy. The ones who got greedy lost everything and the ones dealing with gambling more patiently have got the real profits. Gambling gets addictive and it is really much hard to get rid of it.

I live in a very religious country. Almost everyone is catholic. Those that aren't mostly are foreigners or have foreigner parents. And as you might know already, people go to the Church every Sunday. Yet, some of them came from the casino the night before. Gambling is totally legal in my country. There are places for cockfighting, which a lot of people are addicted to. There are casinos as well. All of them are legal. The only thing that's being prohibited is gambling in public. Gambling has to be done in your house or inside whatever building. It shouldn't be done out in the open.

And regarding your speculation about religious countries being the number one to ban gambling, I think you should reevaluate the power of religion again. It can be written out there plain-and-simple that gambling is a sin, but the government will not just make it illegal because of that. To be very honest, I am amazed to read that you were able to survive on this game for a long period of three years. Bonuses are there to tempt players. Its because there are people who have the intrinsic urge to make money from nothing because they hate their jobs and they are poor. They would rather make money from gambling than work at all. So they fall whenever they see some tempting bonus on the casino and soon they get addicted to it.

Even if they try to stop it, it tough and they will always find themselves rolling away their coins one by one. Some people will get lucky but most wont. End of the day its the house that will make money.

Exactly, if you intake anything more than what can be digested, it always have bad effects. People also use temper when they lose the money and this take them further down the road and they indulge in crime and other such stuff. Banning Gambling may not be that much helpful as Gambling can be done on online sites and no government can stop it.
Addicted People should be taught on what is good and bad and gambling should not be taken as an addiction and should only be played as a fun.

With a life that did not have a job at the time and only knew gambling as a source of income, I was already able to become a gambling addict, perhaps with quotes "gambling because I was forced", every day, always gambling and at first it was fun but after 3 years passed I feel bored living on gambling because I can't get rich because of gambling, even though I have won in large numbers but in the end it will run out too by gambling. Until I decided to look for a normal and legal job, after having a job, we would easily leave gambling.
