I'm not really superstitious at all. I've seen some people who are and know some friends who are a little superstitious. But the truth is most of those things don't matter and don't affect how you play at the casino or your 'luck'. If it were so simple as choosing a good 'lucky' seat to win at the casino, a lot of people would be rich from gambling Cheesy

I have seen this happening with people. This is a kind of mentality that has been fixed to their minds. While they were playing just if they starts to earn good they won't leave the place and by the following days to they try to grab the same place. This is not a superstitious belief, but a small illusionary thinking.

I think it's to make them become more confident and focus on gambling. "I wear the same shirt that I won big" I think it reminds him of the great won he achieved so as to make him more calm and able to control himself also creates an illusion that makes him more confident

Did your friends somehow become lucky when they have done their rituals or something like that? They probably think that it's because of that. Well, it doesn't hurt to believe in that because that's it maybe it's your will of the belief that makes it possible to win. I hope we always win Wink

It's normal to gamblers that we do believe if we are doing some kind of ritual especially if it works when we try but if we also do that I think that is a good idea, you cannot based on your luck alone when gambling because in the end the probability will still take place.
In most cases the house always has the advantage so everything you do will not work consistently, and you will still lose.

Thier is always a big difference between superstetion and gambling . in the common practical life we came across such types of the things which are common to happen or we can say that There is always a particular things to be happen in the most of the cases .
but here the condition is much big different for the gambling because in the gambling most of the times we use only our mind for the making money , and lost our sense of thinking about the reality .
So gambling and superstitious are having big difference , use your superstitious but don't use your mind for big gambling to make earnings , because gambling can never results into profit but still you can make big profit of fun in your life .

Well being supertitious in gambling will just make you confious and might be an obstacle that can stand on your way of winning. Don't believe on supertitions. Believe on yourself and use your abilities in winning games. Dont stuck yourself.

well its a new age now and we all knew that math can help us to survive inside gambling the best way is just to enjoy your game and don't let anything bother's you because superstition will just do that every time you believe about it, if you want to enjoy just focus and play what you can afford to lose.

lol , imho believe in luck itself automatically you have believed on something superstitious. you are rely on something that uncertain and even doubt its existence. so basically when you believe in luck you believe in superstition too. better to gamble for nothing , rely on nothing and hope for nothing. you won't get hurt.

I think everybody has their own wag of making their luck higher whether by repetitive mannerisms or charms and tokens. People have a tendency to try to compensate their fear of losing by using items or manners that they think would increase their chances of winning. Some put coins on their shoes, some use their lucky colors while some even have the lucky items prescribed in their horoscope. Whatever the case maybe if a person wants to increase his/her luck it would definitely not be as easy as being superstitious.

There are some people using their good fortune while some even have a lucky item in the horoscope. Whatever the case might be if someone wants to improve their luck would not be as easy as superstition. but if in a game of gambling use tricks to avoid loosing what you have

Well I dont really believe in superstitions because there are no scientific explanation about that. What might happen will be your responsibility and noone will be. Though i just follow what my parents says when they say that is bad and must not be done at that time especially when someone died. I just follow them so they will not be mad at me not because I believe in it.

Only Asian people believe in superstition but not for europa or america people, they are only trust with luck. That could be your approach, but it could be different. When you think about it, when you are skilled, you know the different situations that could happen and to be effective, you have to include stuff that you know would be the right thing to do. Sports betting, however, would be different because you would rely on other things and you have to hope that your team wins.

People have always believed in superstition ever since time in memorial. Especially with things that has a lot on the line, like gambling. Logically thinking, it doesn't make any difference and it certainly doesn't make your chances better in gambling if you are superstitious. But if it makes you feel good inside and confident about the results, then i don't think there's anything wrong with it.

As long as what makes you happy (even though you lost sometimes) there is nothing wrong. I still find people who believes in superstition really fascinating though. And even poker player also believes in them. Just search it in Youtube and you will it. I guess they fell more confident, as a result their brain function much better and sometimes it turn out a positive outcome. - Winning.

First of all, there would be no chances for best gamblers to exist. In the world of uncertainty, there could be no possibility of winning all the times hences gambling will never produce any best gambler.

But I agree even gamblers who are gambling for years still going for/believing in to superstitions. Because it is the nature of gambling like it is full of uncertainty, so they will be having any other options left other than believing in to such superstitions.

I do know some people do have this kind of beliefs which i can say that there nothing wrong on following those beliefs on his own as long he doesnt hurt anybody on following those things but we should really keep on our mind that these things might random works or not on anytime we do gamble which means luck would really be important here and no one really knows on when it would come to us.
