know of people who won't use a slot machine someone has just won from or will want to sit at a slot machine noone has won from. Very silly and makes no sense at all. This is just desperate people lying to themselves to try beat their odds when they know they cannot.
I just wanna know if you guys are supertitious when playing or gambling?
I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino.
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.
And a lot more..

little bit funny when nowdays i still found a people who believe in supersition,but i know every people have different religion,and some religion have supersition believer,anyway tht not bad if you will always doing that in your life for playing gambling,for me,i never believe something like that,i just believe in m self,and sometimes pray I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino.

Yeah its quite amusing knowing that some people have superstitions when it comes to gambling. Just like other people, I grew up with some of it because we inherited it from our great grandfathers but I never thought that some really took it seriously. I respect that, everyone has their own cultures, beliefs and etc. but when it come to gambling, I really do think so that any of it would help you to win. Just saying...
Superstitions are common anywhere, so there is no surprise that we also see this in the gambling world. Most of these superstitions have been passed from generations to generations. Though for me, I don't believe in any of them. I think they are just there because there is no such thing as luck and superstitions are something to just explain that thing too. We cannot really determine our luck no matter what we do.
Well if you look at it scientifically and logically, of course it doesn't make any connection. Our routines definitely doesn't have any effect with how our luck would play out. Though following these superstitious doings have a positive effects psychologically especially for those who really believe. And sometimes a positive outlook can make a lot of difference in your gambling decision making.

Yes, every culture has its own belief and superstition and we have to respect that. However, if you think it logically, superstitions will not change the outcome or the result the game. If you are going to lose then you will. I guess others think it will give them favorable outcome if they are going to believed it, but in the end, it is still up to you on how you are going to win.

I also see many persons not only gamblers they are superstition in their routine life. Mostly they do those kind works like wear a same dress when they was win and choose the colors cloth which they think because of these colors they get happiness. Then same thinking they are using in gambling. But it is their life style, i don't think that we should take personal, they are habituat and better is that accept it. But about me, i am not a superstition and about gambling, i always normally play it and nothing more.
I wouldn't exactly call it gambling but I do get consciously superstitious when it comes to football (whether I'm playing or watching). For example, I will never say out loud how I hope the game will turn out and won't praise good plays until the game is over. Sort of a personal jinx which I believe has a psychological effect - at least when I play.
Betting online I probably don't reflect the same mentality but in a casino (very few experiences anyway) I get up quickly if someone suddenly joins my table at BJ and bets recklessly.

Superstition in gambling are not that important. Anyway we have individual beliefs. Others are believe in superstition they wear the same shirt when they won.
