This reminded me of my past. Those guys you hire are more dangerous as they can somewhat disappoint you if you use them for play. My personal experience made me regret doing that, they make their charges and after they might have won against the opponent, they still demand some good reward from you. Sometimes they act like they own your money in the game without considering your profit. They played the game, enjoyed the game and still take a huge amount home.

That's clearly a high risk, higher than investing here in crypto I guess. We know if we are good enough to consider gambling as a profession if we are just honest with ourselves, all the qualities you've mentioned has to be possess by a gambler who likes to go with this kind of journey, but in the end, the result is what matters at all.
You can also make extra income from selling your predictions to people.
This is not necessary if you are making money in gambling, people who are selling their picks are not real successful gambler.

I know a guy who plays billboards and you hire them to play against someone whom you know is also good in playing billboards.
It happens to my friend in billiard place. Someone asked him to play with him,
why there are some people that do that ? i mean why they hire someone to play with them when they can learn playing that game . i prefer playing on my own because i dont need to pay for anyone and i dont want my winning to be shared on others . same as when you loose you dont also regret for paying with others but you also get an experience to play with other pro players and whats better is that you enjoyed playing the game.
But you could be a lot less skilled than others. There are a few people who really excel in what they do, more than the rest. There are also a lot of people who, despite playing 24/7, cannot make it to a decent tournament, much less earn from their games.

Most gamblers does not bet on themselves, they bet on other players that they don't really know personally, they just make their own result and put their bet based on their analysis, that's what a sports gambler is doing, and in this field of gambling, only few are really successful.
If I have the same talent like you mentioned, I would bet a big money because I know what I can do, but not everyone really has that talent, and even if you are good in billiards like in your example, there is no assurance that you can get bet a big amount by just travelling looking for opponents to play with you.
Let's take billiards, for example. In billiard halls, there is always a player or two who would excel more than others. In my country, a good billiard player will either be brought by handlers to other billiard halls challenging their best players or someone from other places come over looking for a match. You cannot imagine but the bet could easily balloon to a significant amount because it is like a battle of pride. Billiard halls are like gang turfs in which local players are hanging out most of the time. When somebody from other place arrives challenging their best players, everyone could easily shell out a nice amount betting for their player. A bet could even reach a thousand USD.

It happens to my friend in billiard place. Someone asked him to play with him, and that match was using the money for the winner. So my friend called his friend to come to the billiard place, and he plays with that guy. With a long time of the round, finally my friend can win the money, but he needs to divide the money for his friend because he helps my friend to win from that guy.
Later, I heard from him that his friend was a professional billiard and his friend often to use money as a bet in the game and the winner took all of the money. His income only came from that billiard, and so far, he can live with the money because after he wins some money, he will go home and take a rest.

Gambling is not suitable to be a profession, moreover it is used for a main income. It can indeed be done because I've also experienced it for several years, but to be honest I suffer a lot to do it because every day I am required to bet by having high pressure to get a profit. So, make gambling just to have fun with a little hope of winning, that way you deserve to be a professional gambler because playing with a good mood will make winning and luck at least easy to get.

Well you cannot consider professional gambler if they are putting emotional feelings while playing that’s why greediness never cross their ways instead self control is their master habits And I'm sure only few people can succeed to be a pro gambler because people these days are greedy. As every professional are in every field, it takes time, dedication, and discipline to be an expert in the field they chose. And those gamblers who claims to be pro now must have spent a lot of time to be who they are right now. They have practiced their mind to be wise and gained self-control.
I don't even see a lot of successful gamblers who claim to be pro, they just hide their identity and continue to enjoy making easy money in gambling.
Those who claimed to be pro and selling their method or picks are untrustworthy IMO, because why would they do that if they are sure their picks will give them profit.
Personally I have big dreams in gambling as well which is to be a successful sports handicapper as that's the best type of gambling where I think I have a chance because I love sports and I have seem matured already with years of betting, but you are right, it's not easy, it's built over time and until now I still haven't found the right formula of consistency.

My only income is gambling ( E-sports betting ) and living out with that
I'm 20 and living in Turkey.Minimum wage is around 360~~ in turkey so it's pretty easy for me when my income is USD(1$ = 6 TRY) but paying a lot of taxes(%26) because my yearly income more than 50k as TRY

Sports betting is my favorite type of gambling and I'm very optimistic I can be successful being a sports handicapper, but I realize, although I only bet one game a day, it's not easy as I'm expecting. According to my research, we just have to look for the value, and betting one game a day is already enough as long as we bet a decent amount of money.
