My only income is gambling ( E-sports betting ) and living out with that
I'm 20 and living in Turkey.Minimum wage is around 360~~ in turkey so it's pretty easy for me when my income is USD(1$ = 6 TRY) but paying a lot of taxes(%26) because my yearly income more than 50k as TRY

there must be because they have the ability in that field. people who have the ability and techniques to gamble online and rl, it can be said professional gamblers because they already know how to win the gambling. but I'm sure not all of the income is made from gambling, there must be other businesses that he does. I know there are tons of way to live.

Gambling itself is a profession but not many people who can live out from gambling because they cannot always win from the games.
The only people who make money from gambling are the owners of the casino, the bookie and the affiliate marketing agents. They are not gambling directly and depending on the income from the house. Since people cannot control their urge to gamble on and on, they will constantly getting paid for their work without seeing any risk. Although the house makes money continuously, they do lose money when a high roller wins big. But then that money does not stay in the players hands for long because they become greedy and play again only to be busted.
I wonder how often the high rollers win big. I bet this rarely happens otherwise gambling business won't be that profitable. Makes me wonder why many gambling sites have big different winners displayed on their websites on daily basis. Does it mean people win big on daily basis? The daily big wins doesn't make sense.

Everyone certainly from the beginning did not want this profession.
Because of the passage of time, people would not have thought that gambling could be done as a profession.
Well, everyone certainly can not do this profession, because this profession is a profession that has a high risk.
I have a friend who makes gambling as his main income every day, this is not wrong. Because even friends have found the game to benefit.

Do we call gambling a profession? Well... If we say so. But I think gambling in my opinion is luck base and anything that is based on luck might not stand the hard times.
Profession in my understanding is not necessarily luck base as per say, even where luck can come in, you must have done your own part but a novice can succeed in gambling the first time and make a live living.

Yes, there are some professional gamblers, we know that in gambling the money is so fast it's either you will win a massive amount of money or lose a lot in only a single bet. I have known some people that they make gambling as their job because they are good at it and also some company wants to hire some people just to gamble or play a particular game. Also, this day's there are so many people our online game to make some money, and they call ( streamer ), and they can earn a massive amount of cash especially when there has so many follower.

The way i saw it your mother's cousin is a lender and it's a big business and the profit from lending to gamblers is huge as i witnessed/known somebody who is doing that in our place. Lenders are the sure winner on this gambling industry even if some of it's customers will run away with their debt.She is making a lot of money from the lender itself without playing gambling. I knew someone from my neighborhood, which lends some money to other people, and yes, he makes huge money from them, and he becomes one of the rich people in here.
But we don't know if his mother's cousin is really playing gambling or not. Or she is playing gambling for fun because, in the end, she will get the money from the borrowing money.

You sure he does not have other jobs?Maybe he goes out, withdraw lots of money, gamble in a casino and then comeback with remaining balance? He may even be working in the casino and getting paid daily. You should know exactly where the money comes from before believing that casino is a regular source of income
It's not a regular source of income mate, because the relatives of my wife had been stucked and pile up of their debt just for casino addiction. They've been drowned to addiction with this gambling game, so it's not by profession but rather a bad habits.

In my country, the level of employment is very alarming and the only means of survival for a huge number of youths is gambling and you will not blame young people
But how can they manage to play gambling if they dont have jobs because your on a country that jobs are only limited . instead of playing a gambling why can they just use that time explore more ways to live better ?
We can blame them because what i think their doing is wrong , gambling should not ever be treated as a primary source of incoming or a job because it wont just work .
You called them stupid if they treat gambling as a way of living when they are not even making a living on it.
That's a false belief and that's the reason why some gamblers suffers addiction because instead of playing with discipline, they don't follow it, what they follow is their belief that gambling is an easy way of making even if they don't experience it themselves.
The solution for country with big poverty problem is to improve the economy so people can look for a job, they should not resort to gambling.

Maybe your mother cousing gets money from lending money to gamblers. I'm not sure every gambler can go home every day with money in their pocket from gambling profits. because I don't think luck is always present in gambling games every day. You can live from the gambling business, but you can't live only from gambling games #IMOThat could be true because by lending some money to gamblers, she will get a lot of return. But if she can win a lot of money from gambling, then she is one of the luckiest people in gambling. Although we think that it's difficult to win in the gambling games, she will not feel that it is difficult because she can win and proves to us that she can get money from gambling.

However in his case he is lucky to make a living out of gambling, following him don't make your mind think you could also be a gambler and earn a big sum of money. Your relation carries big sum of money and spends on the casino, rather than that I see him as a person lending money to the gambler and gets back with interest. Even with online gambling you'll get bonus or giveaway from owners. Even for that you need to be luck and should complete certain tasks.

I have got a number of friends who say they are currently depending on gambling as their main means of earning a living. I did not believe but what confuses me now is the fact that these guys are always at the internet cafe searching for odds. I never see them do anything else. So I am getting convinced that they actually make a living out of it but the question is " how much and is it sustainable?"

Well, gambling is not a profession even though in gambling you can get profit, but still gambling is a place where you look for fun and also a benefit that might be obtained if you are lucky. So, even though they are professional gamblers, in my opinion they do not make gambling as their main source of income.

A profession is what pays you with a 100% guarantee for your effort.
I can say that gambling can be used as a profession only for two types :
1) Become an affiliate of a casino and earn money by promoting it
2) Owning a casino yourself thus make profit in the long run.
Apart from these, there's no way you can use gambling as a profession.
If you mean by gambling your money to increase it forever without losing? Never happening. The opposite will happen though. In the long run, you will lose everything!

I prefer number two. But to build a casino, we need to have much money, and it's not easy to build the other one because we see that there are already too many gambling sites available. But if we can build an attractive gambling site which better than the other site, then I am sure that soon or later, we will get the members. The most important to build the gambling site is we can show to them that our site is legit, and that is not easy.
For number one, I think that is not a gambler because we only get the business and not playing the games to earn money. So I think it's different jobs than the gambler itself.
