Same happens to gambling, it's just a game to make people happy and to make some profit, surely there are risks and everyone playing this game knows about the risks.

i think gambling is not same as sick and as mrcash02 said, gambling without limits is really sickness for people that don't know their limits of funds. they only play gambling for the whole day and not doing other activity and its should be a sick person but the gambling itself is not a sickness. i think if we can enjoy when we play gambling and we can get entertain with gambling, then its fine for us to play gambling.

As long as something is been doing without any limitations then that is considered as too much and sickness. And with the definition of mrcash I believe that a gambler who plays without limits are the addicted gamblers who can't able to treat their own sickness. This is the sick that is not able to be treated easily.

I agree to what you have said. gambling is only an activity that is done when people wanted some entertainment and at the same time win an amount of money while playing the game. It should not be considered sickness because it is not a state of health either physical mental or emotional. On the other side gambling addiction is one that should be considered sickness because it affect that 3 state of health of a person.

Whatever type of gambling you are in but you will not behave the way you should be behaving then probably you will end up blaming gambling for your mistakes. The mere fact that gambling is very entertaining and that's what we are looking for, we will easily be affected and our emotion will let us play what we got which is supposedly not to be done.

I agree, gambling becomes addictive because of losing substantial amounts of money in it. People get the urge of trying to get back what they lost, and in the end they further bury their selves in their own graves. That's why they lose more than get it all back. Some succeed in getting it back but most of them don't.

I can say that coming out of gambling is an easy way if you are just willing and you already experience the consequences like losing on a streak. Because addiction in gambling is really one of the hardest type of sickness to be cured and you don't just need medication with it. You need to have self control and as well as discipline especially when you are losing so that you can prevent rage bet.

Yeah, indeed you are right. But if it concerns those addicted in gambling so that gambling can be categorized for them is a disease. Gambling is a business made to leak all the money out of your wallet. You just go there, and bet until you lose. When you win, you keep thinking 'oh come on, just one more!' and when you lose once you want that lost amount back. This thing cannot be stopped unless you wish and try your best to. I have been able to get past this issue fortunately, but you don't need a doctor for that or a psychiatric. A good friend or your family is enough to help you out.
