That gambling and trading are both risky, but the higher risk is with gambling. But I would like to tell you all that there are other forms of gambler where you can find enjoyment while you are risking you money for the bets. If you love sports I am sure one must be addicted with it but also consider it as entertainment so won't get sick with gambling.

Obviously every one knows that gambling is addicted game. People are struggling to come out from this but it's not casino's fault or any other gambling site fault it's our fault only nobody encourage us to play gambling right we only playing and addicting to this game. So we can not say gambling is sickness it's just a game but people are playing this game and making there pocket empty.

In addition to the above poster statement, gambling sites does not force gamblers to come and play in their. After all its all on the decision of the gamblers whether he will do gambling or not, when and where to gamble, and how much money to gamble. If a gambler can carefully plan on his gambling ventures then sickness would not happen, that would only happen to dumb gamblers.

Of course small amount is good but rich and poor have a different definition of small amount. Big can be small for the rich, most of the people who have addicted to gambling consider this type of addiction as sickness, but for those rich who solely gamble for fun considered it as a medicine for their boredom in life.

I think gambling is some sort of disease if you cannot control yourself, as the owners created the casino in the first place for their profit, lets say 2.5% house edge in a landline casino and a bit lower in online casinos and this is all to be checked. So after the owner gets 2.5% of 100% of money he distributes the rest of 97.5% to the players leading to some of them losing money. No big difference in sport betting as greed can get you easily there. So after all it looks like a disease if you cannot control yourself.

i dont think so,gambling cannot called as sickness,we all know sickness have a cure,and so far found people really hard to find cure of gambling addict. and this always matter for gambler who want quit because lost so much money.

I think there is a cure for addiction in yourself. This had happened to me I always gamble on sports betting every day. if there is no match that time. as lonely and empty. I rely on gambling to primary income. but you have to open your eyes. the cure is already very close to you Cheesy

One must not blame gambling of being addicted to it. Gambling sites or establishments for entertainment (customers) and profit for (owners), that must be understood by every gambler who would try to make it a job and earn easy money. I have to say that gambling is the hardest thing to do if you want to consider it as a source of you income. We have to understand that this industry has been very stable for so long already which only signifies that they win most of the time.

I think that gambling is more of a symptom of an illness rather than the illness itself. There is a great number of people who gamble responsibly. Those who don't gamble responsibly are suffering from some other condition that only illustrates itself through irresponsible gambling behavior. The dice aren't responsible for the irresponsible behavior, neither are the cards, the wheels, the sports teams....etc. Most importantly, it's not my job to tell somebody else how to spend their own money whether I think they're irresponsible or not! I do not think that it can be considered as a sickness at all because its just a part of enjoying and you can also stop easily with it.
I first gambled everyday, and now I'm just gambling once a week and I change my scheme in just 1 week so...

Well it can be a huge addiction until you cant control yourself and cant think properly. People end up destroying their own homes, some even commit suicide or do criminal activities. And it is not easy at all to cure on your own. You need consultation and need a lot of supports from many places. It is worse than sickness.
