I was not allowed by my mother to play cards out of fear of addiction and I was unable to understand the concept of probability in my college because it required that knowledge. So I think parents should introduce kids to every thing that could possibly help them in future make money. Gambling is not bad unless you are addicted.

Besides introducing about gambling to their kids, maybe parents need to tell their kids that gambling can suck their money until it's run out. But I think it's not better to introduce gambling to the kids before they are growing up so they can think about the risk of playing gambling. I am sure that they can think about the positive and negative of gambling and they will choose to not playing gambling as often.

it's ok to play gambling with your parents for entertainment purposes only, but not to the point where anyone of you will become addicted to gambling, the head of the family should be the one to set up the boundary, where it will stop as an entertainment, gambling is still a vice and we should all watch if any members of our family get addicted here.

I didn't think that far to bet with my parents, because my parents didn't know that I like to play gambling because I respect them because they know gambling isn't good and if it's addicted it will be dangerous.
so as much as possible I keep it a secret so my parents don't know that I like to play gambling.

I think this is very common to almost all gamblers who have families because once they got addicted to gambling that's when they started to forsake their families. Maybe your dad didn't mean anything bad but to help in keeping the lifestyle that you have without realizing that he got to addicted too much and forgot the family. Well, we can't turn back time I guess what matter most now is for you not to make the same mistake again and don't let gambling have control over you incase you wanted to go back gambling.

I like gambling but I can be called a person who rarely gambles. The time is precious for me to make money but gambling is not the right place to make money, just position gambling as entertainment because it is more fun than being used as the main income especially for family finances.

For those of us who already understand that gambling is not good, as much as possible we don't introduce children to gambling, let them know for themselves when they are growing up.

Same they are allowing me to gamble with them once in awhile during wake in our place. I dont bet much because its my parents money that i am using in betting. And i just do side bet with them because i am not allowed to have one players sit.

Good for you if your parents allow you to gamble and the best thing is that provide you money for it, so you should share your profit with them, my parents never interfere in my gambling but they also suggest me to be careful while gambling because they are more experienced than me so I share my ideas with them before I join any project or gamble for gambling.

So, what happens when friends and family are not available/ does it mean you will not gamble? I have tried gambling with both friends, family and total strangers and the best of them all is playing with unknown faces.

Yes its fun but not all the times especially if your family lose money in gambling and there's no left for them to buy you foods, and this happen to my family many times before. It's not easy to be raised by a poor gambler but of course its not an excuse for me to do better on my field. I'm still playing with a lot of control, that's the best gambling player for me.

There are advantages and disadvantages of playing gambling with your kids, you can introduce gambling to them and can play with them, provided that you can educate your children the harm of playing with too much money and giving it to much time, one of the disadvantages is when your kids become compulsive gambling, because they have found excitement on it.

But mostly disadvantages are here in this matter, actually we always afraid to our parents and that's why we don't do bad things, because we don't want to hurt our parents and if our parents courage it to play gambling, then the day will not far when our kids become addicted. So it is my personal opinion, but i know every society has different way of living, may be in some societies have good impact to play gambling with parents.

It is pretty normal to us and I also play cards with my cousin of course it wouldn't be house chores but who ever lose would drink 1 glass of water .
This remind me of the good old days staying late at night hanging out with my cousins having fun 😊.

Saying yes or no to this question doesn't matter since we can still make the same mistake in the future. If me and my parents could have a good time by gambling and can afford to lose then why not. I've gambled with my parents a couple of times before and it was with a scratching card since they're cheap we bought a couple and on the last card we won enough money to break even.
