At least the parents need to educate your self first before introducing gamble to you. My parents say to me they not agree if doing a gamble with using money, but i still ignore him LoL, but i still try to control my emotion not using all of my money and know went to play & stop.

How come gamblers allow the parents to stay while they gamble. If you intercourse will take your parents with you. As like that while gambling also people will not take their parents with them.
Mostly investors may face the loss or they may win jackpot and have the plan. In these kind of times we cannot allow them to stay with us.

Yeah, just like i said if it is for fun since serious gambling won't be with your family and relatives it would be with your friends who you shared the fun. Since gambling with your family is not that really an amazing thing to do if you are doing it for money. But in some countries, i think it is too common just like you said it was a tradition.

Yeah, I am also already a parent and I have 2 kids. I dont want them to get addicted in gambling although I know it was really entertaining, but if they are already in a right age of playing then why not? I will teach them how to limit everything not only in gambling.

My mother is a Card game addict when i was young i remember that i need to go to her in a gambling place just to ask my allowance for school

Untill when I graduated secondary school that she is allowing me to gamble with my friends and there comes a time that we are playing is same place and wayback?i felt so proud that we are playing together and when she become a Christian?everything change and she stop gambling .but me!?i still play sometimes ofcourse 😉

My parents hates gambling as far as I know and honestly, once they know that I’m into gambling for sure they will mad at me. Gambling with parents is not bad if you think positively and can’t really affect the family. We must put family first than money, and do gambling without sacrificing your family.

I think the mistake there wasn't exposing the children to gambling since it doesn't seem that you shared your father's addiction. It can be a good family past time playing betting games. The problem would in the individual, in your case, your dad. Considering he has a family, he should've been a little more careful in immersing himself in gambling. Instances like this can be avoided and i think there are those who can be in full control when they're involving their families.

I would say it's on a case to case basis, you believe that gambling is bad so you are judging it already.
There are parents who are successful in gambling and I would understand if they will train their kids at a young age to be successful also.
Making money in gambling gives you no limit, your skills will make you rich in gambling.

Playing gambling with friends does not differ with playing gambling with your family but playing a gambling is not a bad activity to do as long as you dont do inapropriate things such as drinking alcoholic drinks or smoking a cigerate while playing because this can influence other inoscent people . its not also bad if your aim or goal of playing a gambling is only for fun because there is no point of placing a real cash as bets when your only playing to the one that you love or to the one that you know the most .

In my country, gambling is a normal thing, but for some people it is not good. For me, gambling is a fun thing. Because I started gambling since I was in school. And I never gambled with my parents. If anyone in my family is playing gambling, of course I will be angry. But if I gamble, of course I'm normal. Because gambling in my opinion can benefit. And that's really a fun thing.

I feel the situation of the OP because my father was a gambler of playing cards too and that's they called "tong its". He usually gambles at the weekend together with me but I'm not going to play just only to observe him. Since start, I know that my dad having a limitation of money he gamble if he has loses that certain amount we walk away and come back into another day. I think parents know what they are doing and they don't let their child involve into addiction.

Yes I gamble and play with my parents it is one of our family time.
We usually play cards when we gamble but sometimes we bet with other stuff like who would do the chores who would clean the house.

I think your gambling passion has a lot to do with how you were raised, your mind gets really accustomed to habits as a child.

It is always fun when you gamble together and if parents do support you or for fun and entertainment they go with you it could be a real good idea as you would definitely be in your discipline and it would be meant that you enjoy the game as it is meant to be.

Right now, my mom always plays Mahjong, and she is taking it as a luxury time to spend time with our relatives. It's fun and just enjoying small things. I know that their bets are not that big, but it's still fun if you get to hit the jackpot and take everything. I did ask my parents to teach me how to play it but they didn't get to, especially when they are always busy. Instead of that, I just tried gambling with them in a land-based casino, and not betting a lot which is good. It's better to be controlled, not too much.
