Hi everyone

How do I restore a wallet using the gamecredits desktop app?

When I click setup the programme installs and starts to download the blockchain - screenshot http://prntscr.com/eip826

However I don't see any option in the menu links at the top to restore a wallet

When I created the wallet initially there was no seed key generate that I seen either.

Normally you can restore crypt coins from seeds, but gamecredits doesnt seem to have one

any ideas?!

thanks
If you have a wallet.dat file saved, then you can go into run >appdata > gamecredits> and input your wallet.dat save file.

Just replace the current wallet, with your old wallet. If you're having more specific problems, hop on our slack. We can set you up with a team member to provide individual support Smiley

thanks for the info.

so is there no wallet seed? This is odd, I've never used a wallet without a seed before. Isnt that really insecure?!

The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of putting decent money into gamecredits, but I don't like holding money on exchanges

How many desktop wallets have you used with such option? After all, a healthy wallet.dat on uncompromised box is all you need for your peace of mind.

We're migrating our old web wallet, to our new web wallet!

If you have an account on our old web wallet, "wallet.gamecredits.org" please read this.

Within the next 24 hours we will begin migrating old web wallets from (https://wallet.gamecredits.org/) to our new web wallet (https://wallet.gamecredits.com/). If you go to the old web wallet after migration, you will have the opportunity to transfer your funds to any gamecredits address (not just the new web wallet). We will be providing an instructional page to help you all through the process. If you would like to transfer your funds now, that will likely make your lives slightly easier. Users with 2FA enabled on the old web wallet will have some extra steps, so please keep this in mind if you choose not to transfer your funds out today. As always let us know if you have any questions, your funds are 100% secure and the old web wallet funds are not going anywhere. You can move them anytime after we migrate.

Can't believe how little interest the upcoming GAME store is getting in the crypto world. Too much going on in other alt markets, but dont worry folks, a lot of people will lose money this week on those pumps, then make way for GAME!!!

Game Credits price is now fairly stable and will certainly grow in April to the date of launch of the online games store. It remains to wait a little more and also want to note that now we are on the verge of starting growth and this is a good time for investments in the Game.

Can you tell me what the advantages and disadvantages are of buying MobileGo instead of GAME?
MobileGo and GAME both serve unique purposes and in no way compete. In fact they have a symbiotic relationship, and a successful MobileGo will mean a successful GAME and vice versa. I expect big things out of both of them, but don't want to tell anyone to move out of GAME for MobileGo.
