How do you obtain the licenses for selling those games? Are you going to partner up with gaming companies in the future?

At this stage we're selling the keys to these games (which anyone can do). We are always looking to partner with more gaming companies, so yes.

look for the file "gamecredits-win32-win64.zip"
has both 32 bit and 64 bit non-setup & signed binaries inside

Great. Up & running fine. Thanks again.

Well how do I get this coin ? I looked at the game credit website but I see no games. In the thread there links to games but the links are broke. So how exactly do you use game credit ? What game ?

Well you can actually buy a number of top PC games with GameCredits in our product GShare. GShare is a PC application that allows gamers to rent out their GPU/CPU power in exchange for $GAME. They can then spend those $GAME on a variety of games.

Download GShare here: https://gn.org/gshare

Anyone know about new generation exchanges  Huh Huh Huh

What exchanges are you talking about, binance, etc?  It would be nice if some new ones picked up game but i think that will just come with time and adoption

I would like to see the look on the faces of the haters now. Honestly, everyone can agree that this coin has already proved its legitimacy and won't be slowing down anytime soon just like the king of the crypto market.

That might be a good idea. They can list their games on the GameCredits gamehub as well. They will get a lot more exposure there as well.

Are there any windows binaries for the latest v0.15.1.1?  I can't see them on the github page.

https://github.com/gamecredits-project/GameCredits/releases
https://github.com/gamecredits-project/GameCredits/releases/tag/0.15.1.1

gamecredits-0.15.1-win32-setup.exe
gamecredits-0.15.1-win64-setup.exe

Those are not binaries, they are installs (exe).  Where are the stand-alone binaries?

Most users like setup files, so only setup files were published. If you want non-setup exe binaries you are free to use the source to build them yourself - that is the beauty of open source.

I'm fully aware of that, thanks.

Every previous release has been supplied with non-setup binaries, that's why I asked. Compiling wallets is beyond the average users capabilities & most people don't like installing software for security reasons, especially on windoze - including me. I can & do compile wallets for my Linux machines, but my windoze skills are limited - I'd like to keep it that way.

So, if anyone here has the ability to compile the windoze binaries & upload them (especially 64bit), I & many other users would be grateful.

Fair point.
Since I built the wallets, I guess I was just trying to limit the amount of re-work necessary Smiley
I'll check and see if I have the working binaries on my machine and send them to the GAME team to upload to github. If not available, I'll kick off another build and then send them their way - keep an eye on the github over the next day or two.

Regards

That would be great, thanks very much!  Smiley

A great coin. I like your idea. I think that it will be interesting to many people. I am also ready to buy some coins for long-term storage.

You could use programs like "Universal Extractor" to extract files from the setup file.

Download the GShare app - there are games (steam keys) available for purchase there. In a few months, Unity integration will be in place so there will be many, many more games.

You can also download Pixel Wars and use GameCredits in there.
