Nice work,  When you're done with library can you do decred, would sure like to
give hashes to someone other then claymore. Cool

zawawa, while you're work on the lbry dual mode, today half of time decred gives more profit on dual mode... Maybe after lbry you make decred too? And it's need to make "Most profitable" switch working.

very stable and informative miner , good job i like this miner , without moded bios , i get stable on card 740 h/s xmr , if moded maybe i get +100 h/s, i will try modding bios when i have time Wink

Dual ETH/LBC mining is working!
Lbry is still slow and I am planning a major optimization today, though.

Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

Thank YOU for such a detailed report!
I will definitely address stability issues and response times with stable releases of the current 1.1 branch.
I am planning to add more testing rigs to approximate various real-world settings more closely. We will see.
Power consumption is not something I looked into very closely at this point, but I will get to it once I am satisfied with the other aspects of the miner.

Yes, I'm using custom made straps.

The cards go well beyond 1k h/s, but its not very power efficient to run them at such high clocks.

Pennywis3, are you use modded bioses for your cards? I can't reach your speed on my RX 580 8Gb with hynix memory even on 2250MHz...

First off, kudos to you, Mr. Yurio for taking on a project like this on your own.
Its nice and very motivational to see a person with your mindset and programing capabilities to start a project like this ( Looking at you Mr. Wolf  Smiley).

Since this has come a long way, I decided to start testing the 1.1.1. Alpha version.
I have done a few hours of tests, nothing special, it has not been running for days, so don't take my tests for granted.
All of the test have been done on a 6x Sapphire Nitro+ RX570 4GB ( Hynix ) machine, running Windows 10 Pro x64 build 1607 ( Default Microsoft Image - no updates ).
Testing has been done on XMR mining only, I've used same setting as I use in my SGminerGM, xmr-stack-amd and Claymore miners >>> RI:896 | W:8 | T:2
The settings are with power consumption in mind, the cards are running 1200 core / 2000 memory @900 - 920mV

Lets start with the good things:

- Good, competitive speed
- Decent amount of options to setup the cards ( didn't try overclocking )
- Friendly user interface
- Easy installation and config to use for beginners

Now for the bad part:

- Random crashes ( The app has stopped working windows error )
- Sometimes when changing the pool from devfee to my pool, or the other way around, the threads become unresponsive, it tries to restart but nothing happens - sometimes the machine crashes.
- Speed is not quite there yet, getting about 10- 15 h/s more on SGMiner GM ( about 970 - 975 h/s with same settings )
- Unresponsive GUI - takes a while for the page to refresh - probably infecting stability
- A bit higher power consumption than SGMiner GM, about 15-20w for the whole rig, not much of an issue, can be overlooked if the stability would improve
- Very high startup times - takes 40 sec for the devfee mining to start and another 2 min. for my mining to start - that's 2:40 to start mining from the start of miner - sorry, this is unacceptable - other miners start way faster and change between pools faster, you need to work on this

Things I would like to see in future releases:

- Stability! No.1 Concern
- faster start and pool / devfee change
- More configuration options ( ability to restart rig, not to restart threads if unstable, command prompt interface only etc. )
- Responsive GUI

All in all I would say you are making great progress, and this is becoming a really good miner.
Once the stability issues are solved and some features are added I will be happy to use it and show my support to You.
I will keep testing this on one rig any report further findings if I find any.

Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

Zawawa what drivers are you using I have one rig that's giving problems win 10 pro with beta blockchain drivers I'm currently running sgminer nicehash version mining monero on nicehash it seems stable but whenever I try the new GGS my rig crashes with the error below in event viewer also I get kernel power which is probably from a unexpected shutdown do you know what it means should I say screw it and reinstall win 10 pro

but still, I have some problems making it running Sad

 - I keep getting errors when trying to mine devfee:

- Devfee on every start for 1 minute... frustrating when one is changing settings and just wants to see the speed (see above I don't see any speed for 1 min)
Maybe you can try to keep time of devfee mining since start of the program ?

- custom pools - what kind of address to use? It seems one has to omit "stratum+tcp://"  ?

- What cards are supported, eg tested? I get some weird results on 7950 and 270x like all shares from 270 : "[7] Share rejected: Low difficulty share"

- speed reedings seem a weird from time to time (like... 270x making 1000h/s on monero)

- after hitting stop, last line in log is "stopping miners"... no line "miners stopped"  Smiley

-after clicking for 10min, the tab "Pool Settings" went stuck into greyed-out position, so no changinf of mined algo. Other tabs were ok.

Whats really bad - it remains greayed-out after program restart :/
I added 1 xmr pool and 1 exp pool, after disableing pool 1 (xmr), on start program started mining eth ... and crashed, because the 270 has only 2GB...

Will try to add more quirks to fix for you Smiley

I realized that, now that I am not involved in the development of excavator, I am free to add CUDA kernels to GGS...
ManagedCUDA is already part of the miner, so it shouldn't be that hard.
I have to get the OpenCL stuff done first, though.

Sad to hear that you are no longer involved in the development of excavator, you seem to be a good developer and excavator a good product.
In the other hand, I am looking forward to the development of this miner too. I am actively using it in my AMD rigs to support it. Keep going, you're doing an excellent work.
