Now I just read in that "initial paycoins" thread https://hashtalk.org/topic/22975 that 7.2 million coins are going to customers. That doesn't make any sense. I came up with less than a million coins above, that's for the additional 4 weeks. Before that hashpool was only active for two weeks and only Primes could mine, plus Zens for a few days. It can't add up to 7.2 million in any way that I can see.

So either I'm really bad with math, or the number of hashlets is 5-10 times larger than I'm estimating, or there is something else going on with the premine.

7.2m * 400 hp = 2.9 billion hashpoints

20hp/day/mh for 2 months would be 1200hp

2.9b/1200 = 2500 GH/s

Right. It's going to be about 6 weeks total I think but close enough. And according to this:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/20681/hashlet-primes/202

or this:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/20794

There are either 120k Primes (which puts the Champion list into doubt) or up to 500k Primes. So are there 2000 or more other hashlets?

As usual, GAW math originates in a parallel universe.

More math fail:

40% of 12m is 4.8m.

$120m/4.8m = $25/paycoin

Are we supposed to believe these mysterious investors paid $25/per for an asset guaranteed to be priced at $20/per?

Looks like people are not getting paid anymore - Definitely not good
https://hashtalk.org/topic/23201/no-genesis-payout-again-day-2/20
They're just getting people used to when they won't be getting paid their Paycoins. It will just seem normal to the average lemming that they haven't gotten paid for the other stuff in a week or so too. But don't worry, somebody is looking into it, even though none of the tickets have been responded to Wink

So does that number mean the average person had 2.2Th/s in zencloud for this to be accounted for? Because I had 1.2 TH/s and was 320th place and 250MH/s and was 280th place. Sooooo I am pretty sure the majority had a whole lot less. Good news though. if you invest that much at gaw they will reward you with 3.00 a day in payouts!

Who's that sleak or sleek wanker with the hashbash or hash whatever white shirt? It looks like he's lost the money for his first car (looks like 16) to paycoin. Or maybe he's invested it to upgrade to a lambo?

I really hope sleak knows better. He is a young kid and created his own coin. Sleak coin actually does exist

He was there and in a video square so i guess that means he's someway into paycoin as either an investor or assisting...

No I think if he created the coin it would actually work. He has been with GAW since the initial forum.

No he wouldnt, he is just a cloner of coin, his coin has been removed from all major exchanges ages ago because it was a pump and dump shitcoin.  GAW seem to love him and think he can do no wrong, but I bet they paid him to clone this paycoin and fucked it. Just like Amber fucking up the codes and sending out 25 prime blocks instead of singles.

Such incompetence. sadly not wow, Much Expected.

I dont think it was Gaw did not want to share, its more I dont think they accounted for private miners to throw more hash rate at the pool than them

Get over it man, the fork isn't a pure hashrate issue, it's a bug in the code, go on Github and look at the branch they did to fix the bug, the hashrate was prevented to go up more than 200x in a day (if I read the code correctly.. a programmer could easily confirm).  So it's not because of hashrate per say as much as a safeguard on the vardiff, PPC and Bitcoin have been working fine for a very long time... Absence of QA is the issue, if they do have 5PH in house they should have given it a test run, it would have broke down in no time.

So get over yourself Wink

If mining opens back up tomorrow night. Then it will be tomorrow night. They write code like a retarded highschool kid in 1994 making a HTML website on geocities.

No their code just perfect, you are not able to comprehend, it is beyond your understanding live with that Smiley

Grin

Actually I think they have a reasonable chance to get it working. They can't be the first coin dealing with difficulty adjustment issues, so if they swallow the pride and look at how other coins are doing it they might be able to fix it. Whether two days is enough time for that I have no clue. But it is definitely a "do or die" moment here. If the coin crashes again it will look pathetic to say the least.

Yep you caught me! I am the retarded high school kid that can't even make the paycoin logo not cut into the top menu with simple CSS on cracktalk.org. I even gave them the CSS rules to change and the code to fix it and the GM told me the website is Randomly generated code. Yep I forgot code writes itself and websites just appear out of thin air. Like WTF LOLOLOL!

Fuck Daffy, looks like the money is drying up to pay off people in the community, first allen1980 and this guy.

Redacted starting this leaving shit after he had a cry about not being able to down vote - and what do you know down votes come back so now all these other paycoin origin peeps are leaving and throwing a hissy fit about something hoping to get it.  That is what the forum community has come down to - complaining hard till they get their way.  It just they all complain about the wrong things.

Allen is back:

Daffy didn't seem to ask for anything, looks like he just got tired and/or pissed.

Q: Do I need to get verified to trade PayCoin and Bitcoin for FIAT on PayBase?
A: PayBase will follow all local regulations and AML compliance laws. Verification will be required and KYC policies will be in place.

So they really need to be compliant with all the local regulations to even think of doing USD or even EUR. Now with the Visa card they will need to be compliant because Visa would not be allowed to do business with them otherwise.

We shall wait and see, but as I said above it needs to go far beyond money laundering regulations to be of any use to the customer.

You seem to put a lot of trust into what the CEO says, I tend to think he lies quite a lot, maybe that's the difference. Think how the coin was hyped and how it turned out to be - that's how I imagine Paybase. Launched as a barely working skeleton with all the good stuff "coming soon". Some features may be forgotten and/or replaced with "better" features in a more distant future.

Not much time left to speculate, only a week to go...

The coin is indeed hyped beyond all reasonable measures. But if what I suspect is true then paybase is really not something thought up by GAW. GAW is/was mainly a cloud mining company reseller of mining equipment. I think they got another entity that wants to stay out of the light at the moment to push the whole paybase thing. It really is too big for a simple company like GAW. I suspect there is a whole other side to this. No I have no proof. Paybase feels like an addon by someone else not GAW. A bank maybe or a big financial institution that wants to start with crypto and be the first to have something like paybase.

See I dont think that is the case at all, Homero is building this up to SELL !!!!  he wants to create an entity like paypal, amazon and SELL IT.  Look at his past record of companies bought and sold.   After buying BTC.com and creating his own pay"base" he can sell this for 1 billion dollars, its only about the money and what he can get at its peak when he can sell it and people want it.

Welp I am glad i sold all of my cracklets today! the only saved the wallets. If this works out GREEEEEAAAAT! if not, well fuck it. At least I won't stand to lose as much as the rest of the crack heads over there. Now if only they would let me withdraw the BTC in my account I could distance myself before this epic failure that will be tomorrow night....

The failure will be 19th not tomorrow night, you just need to w8 a little longer.
