Probably just another "Rogue Developer". No worries, he will just put extra funds into the BTClend accounts, because that's what they do. 
True, however this, allegedly exposed users coinbase accounts therefore their bank accounts and credit cards to the attackers. Users should be aware that they need to check their btc lend account, coinbase account, bank account and credit card.
Since BTC Lend is an MSB and has stated that no customer funds were compromised or at risk (AGAIN) it would seem prudent to report the issue if anyone suffered a loss.
