We're going to need a bigger heatsink.
Is the "Check It" thread deleted or just renamed to something else now? I asked Josh some questions about centralization with Primes.

New thread is fine, I mean the original questions are all answered.

1. Hashlets do not exist

What? I had a hashlets and was getting consistently paid as long as I had them.

Getting paid doesn't mean they exist.

New thread.

Make a digest of the old news/results, maybe a few links to news announcements that have been archived and start over Wink

New thread is fine, I mean the original questions are all answered.

1. Hashlets do not exist
2. VaultBreakers do not exist
3. Inexplicably high payouts no longer exist (and were perhaps always just a lure)
4. Payouts are now so low, that new buyers would only purchase in order to mine hashcoins.
5. Anyone who bought in early enough achieved ROI, middle probably could sell their hashlets to break even, and late arrivals lost money on hashlet investments in USD/BTC terms that at current rates will never ROI. (To argue that HC will compensate those late arrivals is beside the point. Hashlets, as they were advertised and sold, became increasingly terrible investments)

So, it seems the new thread should be hashcoin only, but there is precious little real information about that topic =/

I suppose it could start with an OP that brings together the white paper (or whatever we call it), the mathematical analysis, and the speculation that the only equation in the whitepaper is incorrect to begin with?

Is there any pro-hashcoin argument that makes any sense?

I have updated the first post to reflect the shift to Hashcoin. I may be tweaking it a bit within the next few days as more information becomes available. Any feedback is welcome, let me know if I messed something up or missed anything important that you think should be there.

I was considering starting a new thread and locking this one so that new readers wouldn't feel obligated to go through 200+ pages of - let's face it - mostly outdated rants Smiley, but this would also cut off notifications for users subscribed to this thread. Let me know your thoughts on that.

Yes, if you say something critical about GAW they will ban you. If you go against the flow they will ban you. Simple.

I have to disagree. I have been critical of them on the forum and can still post.

Anyway, should get interesting here in the next few weeks. I have made my money back but unlike others did not sell my "miners" for x3 their initial value. Very likely that I will regret my decision but in the off chance that half of what GAW claims is true I had to ride it out.

Well, my originally banned username on HT was apparently unbanned at some point in the past. Now posting again. No doubt I will be banned within the hour.

When they ban on that forum, is a reason (whether valid or not) given to you? (Obviously, I am not a member.)

Sometimes you get banned because other users downvoted and reported your posts. People usually get banned for a reason Wink

I've seen a lot of trolls there that deserved it. Some of them even admitted in this thread they had multiple accounts and were trolling just to see how long it will take the mods to ban them.

Looks like these guys are still questioning if we have good hardware and have not done any due diligence. Perhaps a few of you that have, can relay your opinion? :grinning:

Called again today, the 4th day of my account being locked.

Got the runaround again. One of their security guys locked my account for an unknown reason to phone support. I guess there was a screenshot of "why" but was unable to be seen by the phone support. The security guy has either ignored phone supports notes on his desk or hes just burning time.

Posted in the hashtalk forum with my issue and Josh moved it but didnt answer or fix the issue.

Honestly, if everyone stopped posting here, except for a once a week update?    We would all be better off. Wink

If I could upvote you, I would. Some people just can't live a day without name calling. They wouldn't exist without an occassional flame post.
This makes finding any info here, besides the first post, impossible.

Then stop looking and posting. That was simple.
