This thread got racist quick.  LOL, grammar nazi's, old english teachers (BITJANE?), and people calling native Americans racist names thinking Squanto is a slur?  I'm 1/8 cherokee and honestly squanto would be a compliment to anyone who knew what they were saying.  So for all of us Cleveland Indians or Washington Redskins, the trail somehow developed into a modern empire so thank you sir.

Nice Cheesy

I don't mind the racist shit. I'm basically a misanthrope. I think all races are equally worthless, though some are more dangerous than others.

The first I heard of Cryptsy's ownership of a prime controller was on the google meetup.... and, at the time, I kind of wondered if that was a slip of the tongue...

Did Cryptsy actually publicly announce this acquisition before the google meetup? Can someone post a link to that?

Oh yes how gracious of Cryptsy to accept that Prime Controller from Josh out of the kindness of their hearts. What a joke. You really trying to spin this to make it seem like you're helping the community? The one you continue to harm by keeping this coin listed? Bad actors.

Once again. Garza was not involved in the transfer of the controller.

At the time the talks about this started Garza had just posted on hashtalk to not upgrade to v2. It made us assume the foundation was trying to do a hard split from gaw and leave them in the dust. Which we supported

re: $XPY ^stolen copy/paste code is stolen code pure and simple why you think josh ever agreed to the terms? you a fool! Smiley *stop and think about it!!!*

Truly you have a dizzying intellect.

Do you think you could rephrase that in a manner that conveys some sort of meaning, point, opinion, SOMETHING other than just words strung together?

This coming from a trail nigger, shall I call you squanto?

HELL NO! That was the worst movie I've ever seen.

So, how many accounts you gonna make today?

Side note to anyone here, what the heck kind of a vote does a PC give exactly? I keep seeing this "one vote", but what is it a vote of?

Here is the agreement they voted on (the one that sets the stake rate to 100%):

http://paycoinfoundation.org/docs/PCAgreement_signed.pdf

So its almost a "legally binding" vote outside of blockchain matters? I'm curious more than anything else.

TheMage, voting is listed out in the whitepaper as a technical feature.  Since voting was never actually built (along with 99.9% of the other features) it is currently performed manually via agreements like that one.   So any owner can call for a vote at any time and a majority vote of prime nodes carries the decision as that is scoped in the whitepaper.   Since Phil Vadala and Josh/GAW are fighting silently over the 15 Prime Nodes not owned outside of GAW it is unknown who actually gets those votes.

Interesting voting out Primes by Orions is also in the WhitePaper as well as voting out bad actors...

Great thank you for the explanation, makes sense Smiley.

My last comment for the day ....

If their end goal was to launder 1.41 XPY ( less than $1 ) then they did a good job of making it look like an average user getting a payout from a service. Likely a GAW service.

One last comment before i get back to work

Perhaps i shouldnt have commented on that as im not an AML master.

My understanding of how it works is companies are not supposed to stop the activity unless they are on the OFAC list. We are supposed to monitor and report.

go back to work mullick, I mean go back to laundering Josh's coins. RT/fav this https://twitter.com/themerklenews/status/592434748997304321

Also, while we are on the subject, why is it that the supposedly stolen XPY went to known GAW/Garza addresses after it left Cryptsy? Another one of them thar coincidences that seem to occur so often when talking about dealings between Cryptsy and GAW/Garza/Paycoin.

Keep tugging at these loose threads Paul. You are onto something.  I know who I trust more in this debate between you and Mullick.

Didn't Matlock pay half a million for his PC's u think he's just going to burn it?

He is probably just like everyone else Josh suckered.  He gave up his time and skills (whatever those were) in exchange for a share of the cornucopia of riches that is paycoin.  But i'm certain you were being facetious.

Uhh no he stated exactly how much he payed for it.  Google paycoin foundation and its in one of those videos.  I'm sure he wants his ROI and off the top of my head he also got friends and family involved in the purchase.  My figure might actually be lower than what was paid.  Now using those PC's to bribe exchanges "giving it away" for 1$... I know I shouldn't be talking about PC's like they're actual physical items they're just lines of code.

its in one of these videos i'm sick of watching them so you'll have to find it yourself

The Scamcoats are coming!
Mullick,

The paycoin foundation hack. Was it 200,000 XPY was stolen and transferred to Crypsty?
Who made those trades? With that amount of BTC you must know who owned that BTC wallet.

I hear you reversed the trades? Has the thief been arrested yet?

Mullick, are you/Cryptsy aware that Garza has been dumping hundreds of thousands of xpy on your exchange? And more importantly do you care?

We have filed all the paperwork we are legally required to about such transactions. It would be illegal for us to stop them

And yes we care. Which is why we wanted to stop at least one prime node from dumping its coins

Im not the person to talk to about those type of legal matters though. Thats another department

Not only is it not illegal, but it is encouraged to stop trading activities of those suspect of laundering coins.

mullick you can't BS me, i've spoken to Fincen a number of times personally (completely outside of this debacle). Coinbase shuts down accounts all the time, even shut down Josh's because of suspicious activity.

You don't HAVE to shut down accounts for it, but it can be encouraged. Especially if there is a high level of suspicious activity.

Do you know the story of Charlie Shrem? He's in jail now because his company shut down an account who was suspected of illegal activity (happens to be he was in fact a drug dealer and laundering money). Charlie went behind the other executives and not only told him to continue using them but also how to avoid triggers in the future (as the compliance officer).

I know this isn't a 1 to 1 comparison, but it shows that yes you can shut down accounts for suspicious activity.

Gifting the prime controller back to the foundation or gaw would not be ideal in my eyes as it will be unknown whats happening with it.

Given that a prime controller is really just a private key that lets you stake higher, how can you gift it to anyone? You can give them a copy of it, but how do you un-learn the private key?

And rather than all this scraping, burning, etc. why not just remove the private key from your wallet's config file. Then you won't be staking with an unfair advantage and won't have to worry about how to dispose of the ill-gotten gains.

One last comment before i get back to work

If we were to stop staking nobody would be able to verify we actually stopped. We could have just moved to a new address with new coins.

And your right we cant just give it back. We know the key and without a update it cannot be removed
