So the only benefit for the Hashlet Prime is the fact you can change pools and they "might" introduce new algorithms?

Did everyone who bought the standard Hashlet get upgraded to a Prime? If so, it really makes me think it's not worth the money. To go from $16 to $40 for no reason..

Yes everyone who had the standard hashlet before the new ones came along got their hashlets upgraded to Prime.

I do wonder the same although we could all get surprised in the coming days, as there must be a good reason why it is more expensive compared to a zen hashlet.

It makes no sense at the moment, as the zen pool is the most profitable pool anyway, so why would you want to switch it to anything else.

Exactly, I want to buy but I feel like I'm being ripped :/

Should I buy a zen, prime or just buy more BTC? I was gonna do it for a bit of a hobby/laugh to be honest as I used to mine but have nothing to "keep and eye on" these days.

If I where to get some more Hashlets today I would probably go for the ZenHashlet Solo rather than shelling out for a Prime. As you said above, the price diff between the two is too big right now. However that being said, when we get to find out what is planned for the Primes (scrypt-n mining is rumored), perhaps they will be a better alternative later on. But paying 2x for a Prime compared to a Zen Solo is speculating that something better is to come.

Are they scammers or do they pay out when they are suppose to?

Those aren't mutually exclusive options.
Madoff paid out when he was supposed to for more than a decade.
Most scams pay out initially, to attract more investors.

I just registered on this site because I was thinking about purchasing a 100 mh hashlet from gawminers. Are they scammers or do they pay out when they are suppose to? I don't feel like wasting time/money/energy on a scam.

So far they actually pay out just fine. Also they have been the fastest delivery people of their hardware (prior to hashlets) and currently the most trusted name in scrypt miners. If you want a discount on your purchase check out this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/gaw-miner-discounts-including-hashstaker-and-hashlets-750909

They said to be patient and after payout they upgrade their system:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/3381/missing-payouts/81

Well that at least is a little  comforting. Almost 48hrs in, no payouts (not even any indication of an estimate). I do have a mention in the activity log of a BTC payout and there's a "payout" in the hash area of the balance tab but with no amount.... Dashboard is just a hashrate and a lot of 0's though... was beginning to think it was just a con Sad

Do you really have to register to three different sites just to keep up to date though... support ticket site (unanswered for 8.5 hours so far), ZenPool itself and the hashtalk forum?

The header amount doesn't get calculated until the run is 100% complete. They said there is some sort of technical issue today, probably due to the influx of customers, so payouts are taking crazy long. If you have payouts in your latest activity it will calculate into the total soon enough.

I don't see Hashlets being able to mine scrypt-n coins for profit. There just isn't enough volume there to be able to reliably mine it with the hashrate GAW/Zen say they have without killing the market.

Then there is the fact that VTC will be changing algos.

Hello what mean the "24h Payout", is it what i can expect?

So

1Mh ZenHashlet paid: 0.00064654 BTC

15Mh Zen Hashlet paid: 0.00231614 BTC

little bit undercharged?

it means that you will get your earning in the 24hrs.

i don't understand why some one would now pay double the price to have Prime VS solo just so you can change pool.

looking at pool picker nicehash and other pool all pretty much offer the same earning give or take 2%

why dont you just offer 1 thing BTC/Mhs like CEX.io and that is . maybe charge a small fee and a min of 100mhs per pool change

$39.95 VS $16.95

you have to be a compete sucker  to pay $23 more ( that is 230% more )

SOLO  0.03296 BTC ($17) and earning today rate at 0.0004 = 82 day ROI
Prime  0.08315 BTC ($39) and earning today rate at 0.0004 = 207 day ROI

please let me know if i am missing some thing

Sincerely I do not understand their price policies...

price more then doubled in less then 1 week starting from $15.99 USD 1 week ago for 1Mhs and now it is 39.99 USD (for same Prime Hashlet)

Just "Solo ZenHashlet" are still a bit profitable...  I think...

whats hard to understand?
prime will be able mine scrypt-n soon all other hashlets wont

same hashrate as scrypt ?
