To me the price of the hashlets on gawminers still seem to be same price they was yesterday and same price they was last week. If they did drop the price by $1.00 on all kinds of MHS including the ones priced at $15.95 right now then that would put them to compete with genesis mining. The seem to offer them at $14.99 on genesis mining when you buy over 100 MHS and i seen someone post can use promo code MOON for 5% discount. not sure if code is true or $1.00 price drop

I noticed this on the zencloud, not on GAWminers website. I think someone said that they have not updated the prices there yet.

Hashlet solos seem to all be 1 USD cheaper today.

For example Waffle Hashlet is 16.95 instead of 17.95. This was on the Zencloud.

Well, I just took the plunge a few minutes ago. I took the last bit of the remaining cash from selling my mining rig and picked up 1 100GH bitcoin SHA-256 hashlet, and 1 15MH multi scrypt hashlet (I'd intended to get the zenhashlet but I forgot to switch back when I changed my order... they really need to get away from the color coding because it's easy to get confused). Total cost was about $~330 (minus the 1.5% i should get back from lythos).

So far I seem to be hashing, but nothing updating about bitcoin/dollars earned. We'll see what it looks like tomorrow. They seem to be a far more reputable company than bitcoin-trader.biz so I'll probably stop my reinvestment there and start to pump it into GAWMiner if it works out. Or split between both. Either way, it's cool to have a diverse set of options. I've already made back all of my money from my original mining rig, so now it's just trying to keep the bitcoin I have floating around earning me more money.

I also like the fact that I have the option to sell back at just about any time.

nice and first day no .08 USD maint fee charge then 2nd day you will get full pay out.

yes, -0.00016784 BTC = 0.08 USD for maintenance fees
and hence, zen pool estimate return is 0.00062574 BTC per mhs daily
0.00062574 BTC - -0.00016784 BTC u will get 0.00027356 BTC
0.00027356 BTC x 30 days = 0.0082068 btc and is around USD 3.90
So your purchase price of USD 20.95 for 1 mhs zenhashlet divided by USD 3.90, ROI is around 5.37 months.

Umm, check the maths Wink

sooo i'm missng something?

so i choose 1 multhash, i'm getn Multipool.us   0.00044140 BTC

15.95 for a month, 15.95=0.03354285

0.00044140 BTC*30days = 0.01324200 for the multihash..

just bought it, wanna push my last btc i found in it..

need to deduct -0.00016784 BTC for maintenance fees
so u will get 0.00027356 BTC x 30 days = 0.0082068 btc
but the maintenance fees will reduce in time, as they said

not in BTC but 0.08 USD.

??

Pay 15.95USD for Multipool Hashlet - should be lifetime availability.

  most solo hashlets are lifetime.

I was thinking about doing a series of videos each day on Youtube where I purchase 10GH/s with both Genesis Mining and a Genesis Hashlet to compare daily payments over a period of time.

I also want to do the same with 1 MH/s

What I am unsure to do though is the following.

1 MH/s with Genesis Mining costs 17.99 USD and I can purchase a waffle hashlet for 17.99 USD

Does that sound like a good comparison as I am not sure if it is fair to perhaps purchase a Zen Hashlet that costs 3 USD more.

What does anyone else think?

Should I get a Zen Hashlet or keep with a Hashlet which is at the same price as the Genesis Mining price?

Thoughts anyone?

Edit: What I have decided to do is get a Genesis Hashlet, a Waffle Hashlet as that is the same price as 1 MH/s with Genesis Mining and also a Zen Hashlet as that uses the Zen pool so will be interesting to also compare daily payouts between the Waffle Pool payouts and the Zen Pool payouts.

Ian

i did comaprison of clouds before hashlets - http://fuk.io/cloud-hashing-and-rig-renting-services-review/
an reviewed hashlet - http://fuk.io/gawminers-zencloud-hashlets-review-and-setup-guide-best-cloud-mining-scrypt-system-to-up-the-date/

maybe that helps with Genesis vs gaw

yeah imagine you want to sell it is placed in a sell que that you may cancel until it is sold so we know we have to wait for another customer to buy. It is not like gaw is buying them and then have to wait to resell them. The moment they sold them to us they washed their hands of them. So there must be some poor guy burried in paperwork or having o restock all those 0's and 1' of this digital item to charge 20% "restock fee " as was mentioned.

GAW must be taking a piss at us, the customers, selling hashlet.

I was planning to sell my genesis. The fixed listed price is $7.9... We are also not sure whether there are transaction fees or admin fees to deduct after $7.9...

I don't think there are any other fees. It's basically a return/buyback with a 20% restocking fee, if you want to look at it that way.

I would rather sell my whole account then.
